An elderly English lady has been working out in her garden recently next to the road with a mask on and I had an urge to tell her it can be dangerous to wear one long term but knew it’s none of my business what she does.
I reconsidered today when I thought, “what if she keels over there in the rock garden because she’s not getting enough oxygen?”
So I went up close to where she was digging and said good morning and it’s none of my business but did she know we can get apoxia if we wear a mask too long.
To my relief she said she was only wearing it to keep the dust and dirt from her digging away, not because of the coronavirus. She says she doesn’t wear one otherwise. And she thanked me twice for speaking up. One less person I have to worry about. Awesome!
