5D Shift: What Will The New 5D Paradigm Look Like? ~ July 1, 2019

Imagine a world were everything is interconnected as frequencies of light; where you feel at peace, cherished and nurtured, where there’s infinite possibility in the day to express yourself and unfold the next highest version of you. Imagine everything working in harmony together. Imagine a world where conflict has transformed into constructive confrontation to peel away that which doesn’t serve, so as to find the next highest harmony. Imagine a place where there are always enough resources to be who you really are, and where fear and suffering have fallen away.

This is what it’s like to live fully in 5D consciousness in the New Paradigm.

My only question is, why wait?

The Not-So Truman Show

It’s time to wake up from the amnesia. It comes as quite a shock when you realise that as Homo Sapiens, you’ve been caught in an experiment by an Opposing Consciousness whose very purpose it is to control, downgrade and enslave. Ever seen the film The Truman Show? Take a moment, see the perfect metaphor of the reality game show people have been contained within……

You just know it don’t you! If you’re reading this, the delusion is already coming into view. But the Intervention is exceptionally clever. It keeps creating new episodes of the drama to bend and distort people back into the show. It could be that new ‘eco-friendly system’, where we’re all consuming exactly what we want, just as long as it has that all important “eco” stamp on the label. Yet it’s still a prison cell — this one just designed to assuage a degree of guilt about how society is obliterating the eco-systems and mercilessly exploiting other life.

Let’s wake up, it doesn’t have to be like this! Just like Truman, we can all step out of the Show!

The Grand Deception

The greatest part of the deception has been to disconnect Humanity from his multidimensional self. This primarily happens through the fourth density, playing on karmic attachment, inserting energetic implants, thus causing addiction to lower behaviourisms through lack of trust. Humanity has lost trust in the divine that the flow itself can furnish everything we need. It’s not humanity’s fault — by playing dissonant frequencies through the field via electrosmog, an eddy current in the flow — a “Truman Show” — has been created. It’s a clever way of controlling reality. And yet there’s no longevity to it. In the end all control breaks down: it’s like you’ve put an achor in the space-time-continuum, a dam in the stream, but since everything is interconnected, spacetime bends and gathers around it until eventually the anchor is wripped up. And so the Intervention moves onto another planet, perhaps it’s Mars this time — all aboard SpaceX or Virgin Galactic — with the happless Truman Show in tow. It’s just another series in another landscape, but with the same limiting agenda.

How about we step out of the show now? It’s not that difficult to reclaim your multidimensionality. I’d say there needs to be a couple of essential things landing for you: (1) the realisation that you’re in something like the Truman Show and don’t want to be there anymore (2) the daily commitment to find your authentic soul truth.

What Will 5D Reality Look Like?

There are many characteristics of the soul, but when you’re in your authentic soul-ray-harmonic, what people say is that it just feels ‘right’. There is a ‘rightness’ to it. That’s not right as in ‘right’ and ‘wrong’, just the sense and feeling that you’re in resonance in that moment for you. Imagine you were an ET from another constellation and you’d never seen a guitar before or heard it play. Nevertheless, you’d instantly know when a chord was being played that was in tune. When you’ve felt your soul resonance once, there’s nothing quite like it, nothing that this synthetic reality can ever replicate. So keep looking for that new chord, that new tune, keep playing it, because that’s exactly how the illusion evaporates like some distant desert mirage. Whatever the smart-phone-distraction, whatever the next social-media-must-see, keep playing that tune which is yours, and sure as the sun coming up over the ocean, just like Truman, you will escape into reality.

Discover the characterisitics of your Soul-Ray-Harmonic.

The 5D New Paradigm (actually 5D, 6D and 7D) already exists. We’re living in two worlds right now not one. And the most essential thing is that you get to know the New Paradigm yourself, in your daily living, right now. We can share reflections, yes, but you have to live it for yourself to be there. Here’s my vision-knowing, I felt to share so as to inspire…

Imgaine a world without concrete cities, highrise buildings, without cars and trains and planes. Imagine all the pollution and electrosmog gone. Imagine governments, police forces and armies dissipated. A place where there’s no war or conflict. And most essentially, a place where ALL sentient life is respected and cherished. A place where there is no requirement, need nor desire to consume another creature. Imagine the consciousness of all life here being rejuvenated in a higher vibration of light. Imagine that as you express your authentic self, light bends around you to create a vehicle for your expression. Imagine waking up for the day (you actually never go to sleep), and your purpose is to learn, evolve and grow, to experience the fullness of who you are. Imagine that as you create, you’re creating in harmony with a group of souls closely resonant on your frequency, so it feels totally harmonious. This is a brief glimpse of my knowing-sense of the New Paradigm. Crucially, I experience it as already here, already around us.

What might it look like for you?

We’re Not Waiting for Some Big “Event”

The point is that you can’t wait for the next big “Event” to realise this. Yes the planet is undergoing phenomenal transformation and transition. Over time, the old reality will steadily break down. If you’re truly honest with yourself, surely you can see it doing that right now. It’s getting increasingly dissonant with the authentic vibrations day by day, doing its damndest to shift and shape so as to lock people into another episode. But that’s just the karmic construct twisting and turning in its end game.

Here’s the crucial point — to fully shift into the New Paradigm, you have to be ALREADY living it as the karmic construct peels off. If you’re here in this reality, then the chances are that you have karma to process and so fragments of soul are bound into the old reality. It’s these that keep creating the illusions of the Truman Show — people keep getting sucked back in through distortions in relationships, careers and general living circumstances. And yet if you’re reading this, likelihood is that you’ve already had experiences of what it’s like to be living in 5D (and 6D/7D). The essential thing is that you keep digging for these kinds of experiences in daily life. It’s definitely NOT waiting for “The Event” — that’s likely just another deception. Yes there will be plenty of events in the Shift to the New Paradigm, but the point is to live it right now.

Here’s how to know you’re living 5D consciousness now, with 5 typical experiences.

Time to Step Right Out of The Truman Show

So my encouragement is not to wait. You can explore higher dimensional consciousness in every aspect of your life. Beware, there are a zillion reasons the Truman Show recreates to keep people locked into the illusion. Don’t be fooled. In your soul you know the truth. Keep trusting in the guidance coming through you. Keep checking that against the synchronistic interplay of the flow. Keep exploring and inquiring. And don’t worry about making ‘mistakes’ — I can tell you, I have only ever truly found the flow by the times I’ve mistakenly stepped out of it!

The New Paradigm is there for you right now. You know it intrinsically in the core of your being. When you’re in it, it just feels ‘right’. You’re seeing and stepping through the density, out of the Truman Show…

I know this is not always easy. There are so many blinkers to keep people locked in. But I have the privilege of meeting and working with people around the world who are steadily breaking free, choice by choice, step by step, moment by moment. Yes the density pulls you back in for a time, but it’s never long before the next wave sweeps you up again!

America – The Great Illusion ~ September 7, 2018

“Insanity: Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” — Albert Einstein

Life is the greatest gift in the known universe. It is incredibly precious, vastly diverse in its scope, and without judgement or prejudice — it just happens. One does not have to possess any specific talent, live any particular lifestyle, or be any one particular person in order to enjoy its enormity. In fact, the profound beauty in life does not come through force or will, but instead through surrender to the natural flow.

However, today’s world has become increasingly complex. Social forces mold individuals into thinking, behaving, and believing in a way that benefits the consumer driven society; essentially telling the child, “You can be whatever you want to be as long as you do what you’re told”.

There is Little That’s Real or Natural About Our Way of Life

We are told this is “real” and this is the way life is supposed to be, yet most would likely agree that something isn’t quite right in society today. Why are there so many wars? Why have technological abilities and labor power skyrocketed, and yet poverty and wealth inequality are still prevalent all over the world? The list can go on and on, but the point is that organic life has blessed the world with unlimited gifts of potential, yet somehow humanity has stumbled down a dead-end. It’s as if everything is backward in a grand illusion of what life appears to be, compared to what it actually is beneath the surface. It’s important that Americans see through society’s false projections, so that the nation is not tricked into continuing down the wrong path.

This is incredibly apparent when one dives into the natural world; a necessary component of interaction for the survival of the species. The food that is eaten, the water drunk, the air in the atmosphere and the soil in the earth, are all increasingly being replaced with inorganic substitutes. Food sources are becoming genetically modified and stuffed with additives, growth hormones and other chemicals are used on the during the raising process and on the land,  and are slowly robbing the precious soil of its natural fertility, and its ability to grow food organically. All the while, the air is tainted on a daily basis with toxic pollutants that seep into the water supply already being pumped full of fluoride to begin with. This doesn’t take into account the often overlooked aspect of radiation in the atmosphere, as nuclear plants like Fukushima, Wi-Fi fields and cell phones expose one’s body and food to high amounts of radiation.

Faux Health = No Health!

It would be naïve to think that there is zero negative affect on the human body and environment from all of this, but how is one to know and understand the gravity of this situation while being so disconnected from the natural world?

The human body is made up of trillions of cells that are constantly being replaced on a daily basis. The very air, food and water being processed by the body, becomes the body. Science has already begun to prove that these inorganic products affect the chemistry in the body and ultimately can alter one’s DNA. It’s fair to say that constant exposure to all this inorganic life could potentially distort one’s perception of reality, forming an illusion unaligned with the naturals laws of life. This carries over directly into how one deals with health in this country.

The environmental issues being overlooked are the reasons an ever-increasing number of people are getting sick. Why is mental health becoming an ever-increasing problem, while prescription drug use and incarceration has never been higher? The American system wants to suppress individual surface symptoms or lock people up as if this is an isolated problem, but once a deeper look is taken it becomes clear that Americans are surrounded by a very toxic inorganic environment. It’s no wonder cancer rates are going up, along with heart disease, Autism, and ADHD. Stress remains one of the primary culprits behind many of these diseases, but throwing patented pharmaceutical drugs at the problem only suppresses the pain in the short-term.

The answer to the root problem can be gained by looking deep inside oneself, and bringing balance back into day-to-day life through diet, lifestyle and positive social relationship changes. Meditation, yoga, prayer, exercise and other stress reducing activates, mixed with raw, balanced, and organic diets, have shown incredible abilities in calming the mind, identifying triggers of stress, and attacking the root cases head on. If the true desire is to become healthy, then the illusion of reactionary medicine to individual problems must be dropped and the people must realize how these illusions have been creating  the perfect toxic environment for all these problems to manifest. Americans must begin to alter the environment and take preventive measures in order to avoid disease, imbalance, and stress related disorders before they occur. This requires that citizens begin to learn how to think again in a healthy, more organic way.

Education via Indoctrination

A game plan has been developed for education over the years – a plan in which educators take the pitcher of water and fill the kids heads up with all the information they will ever need. Not only does this system tell the child what to think, but he will be tested on it, ranked on it, and given hours of homework to do as if he already has a job.

Six hours a day for the better part of almost 14 years is plenty enough time to prepare a child to enter the world, without the need of excess homework, which takes away from much-needed play and imagination time – essential for a child’s healthy development, while gaining ‘hands on’ and versatile knowledge for the future. The problem is how this education is being presented. No one person is the same, therefore the system should surely teach children how to think, rather than what to think, if they are to adapt successfully to an ever-changing world.

In Need of Critical Thinking

Americans need to learn how to approach a problem, look at it from all angles, and make educated hypothesis through critical thinking; knowing that information is always subject to change if new evidence presents itself. The organic world and human population is incredibly diverse. One must learn to cultivate the unique value within themselves instead of attempting, unsuccessfully, to mold everyone into the same form. This comes back to encouraging creativity and imagination and realizing all the answers are not inside the box.

Nature is vastly diverse, yet it is still very much interconnected as an ecosystem. This doesn’t happen through control, memorization and form, so it’s important that this current education illusion be dropped, and instead allow education to be adaptable, open-minded and individually liberating enough so all may find their inherent value to the world. The illusion that was taught, “It” is not real because learning is a continual process throughout the entirety of one’s life. You can never learn “It” or rather, you never stop learning “It.”

Should America ever surround itself with an organic environment, the error in its current path will become shockingly clear, and one can begin to drop the ridiculous assertion that the government and economy are unimportant and will solve themselves. It seems pretty clear at this point that the “powers that be” don’t represent the people, don’t want to fix the problem, and have very strong financial interests in keeping the current game going.

It’s no secret that America has incredible technology, huge amounts of land and resources, and the knowledge and labor to construct something amazing, yet it remains in turmoil. This is a fact, and continuing to believe that voting is going to make it change is naïve after decades of the same unfulfilled promises.

It’s time Americans took the government back from the elites and build an economy that is valuable, fair, and representative of all. The reality is that the ninety-nine percent vastly outnumber the one. The citizens of this country need to wake up, mobilize, and take collective action to change the status quo; a fundamental change in the way this country’s government functions, but this does not happen over night. In fact change does not happen until one makes it happen – sitting back in a trance wishing it all away is ineffectual and unnatural.

We Are Better Than This!

Given what America is capable of — both industrially and politically — the people can create something extraordinarily beautiful if they start to realize the incredible power that rests in their collective hands. This entire system is built around confidence, and the investment of the masses. In a true republic the power is in the majority. It is time this country remember where it began and drop the illusion of power projected onto the current governing body and economic powers. Its illusionary power because in fact, the only thing keeping it together is our own unjustified confidence and compliance in it all. The real power lies with the many! So the moment the people decide change is needed, if this is indeed still a republic or a democracy, then change will happen.

Historically a shift within the political structure of a society in favor of stronger civil and democratic rights, whether it be by way of violence or dialogue, has always been followed by a period of enlightenment and prosperity. Modern Americans are so ingrained into this monetarily driven and materialistic culture that they have remained stagnant in this regard. Due to an incredible fear of leaving the jobs and lifestyles they deem mandatory, the larger picture is completely missed. Most people lack the real passion and flexibility in their work that they so desire and deserve. There is a better way and that is no secret. This country needs to get over the illusion that change is impossible and realize it’s right there for the taking.

Work doesn’t have to be slavery nor should it be. Why would anyone want to spend the prime of their lives working jobs they don’t like, have no voice in, and don’t often profit from, when they excel? What is the point of work if it has no value to society or the individual? The elite have nothing without the people, so how long will the average citizen continue to remain obedient while they rake in astronomical amounts of money from the hard labor of others? There are trillions of dollars sitting in the derivatives markets that are all basically just numbers on a computer, yet these people make millions, and many act as though it has contributed so much value to society. This is merely part of the grand illusion, and is only possible for them through the continued participation of others. The people have nothing to lose and everything to gain by seeing through this illusion of power..

Why Don’t They See Through It?

Because its all covered up and distorted by a media and entertainment industry that over-saturates society with fear and distraction. How can anyone at this point take this country’s mainstream media seriously, when it is public knowledge that they’re a business with shareholders? That means they are in the business of making money, and have primary interests other than presenting real, unbiased, unfiltered news and in-depth analysis. Few even attempt to hide the bias anymore. It has become common place to see reporters with fake voices, fake smiles, tossing softball questions to the puppet politicians they interview, those who are clearly actors. The illusion that the media represents the people and the country is ‘out of the bag’ now, and slowly their power is disappearing. They represent a very small, but powerful group of interests.

The Real News is Now Being Delivered by the Alternative Media

The real media now lies within the alternative media, for it’s up to the people to self-explore, filter, and decide on what is true and how society should operate. It’s equally important to not be distracted by the lure of a false entertainment industry, to blind and distract you from the task of changing the world. Entertainment is art and art is organic expression with no true form. But can one call the entertainment industry art, when profit is the driving force behind it all? It’s not about who a person is as an artist anymore, but instead its about how the industry can use (exploit) that person and build a particular image around them; it’s all an illusion. When a musician signs a contract with a production company and that company writes the music, alters the voice, produces the beats, and Photoshop the cover picture, at what point is this still considered real?

Clever people have vested interests in keeping the consumer distracted, triggering certain emotions in everyone, and playing off this to sell product. However, the whole entertainment and media apparatus is only as real as we-the-people allow.  If we could outgrow our need for this staged-managed entertainment, then we’d stop wasting our time and money on it, and it would cease to exist.

Stepping Back to See a Bigger Picture

We need to take a step back and start to truly examine what truly holds value, and what is just an illusion of a false self, cultivated from an environment with many inorganic projections. Most people barely even touch or feel the natural world anymore as concrete blocks the ground, buildings hide the sky, and cities trap everyone in another reality. At what point does the continual rat-race to the top of the social and financial hierarchy begin to collapse?

That’s not to say everything is bad, but deep down humanity knows that the concrete jungle is unnatural, and in need of a new direction. The whole system depends on confidence, this is why financial analysts always talk about it, and once the confidence shifts the system will change. This is just as true about money, as money is only as valuable as the people’s confidence in it. Money currently makes the world turn, but only because people believe it to be that way. As they believe, so it happens.  However, most people know that there is more value to life than just accumulating countless material possessions to build our status in the eyes of others.

What is Really Valuable Then?

What Americans value deep down more than anything is freedom, authenticity, fairness, and ultimately… love.  A world filled with organic love is a world that can flourish in any system. One barely need rules, money, and form as it guides and adjusts itself naturally. Remember life just happens, and the more one fears it and controls it, the more inorganic and bad it becomes. They want to keep people pitted against each other. They want to keep people in line so they will work for them, go to war for them, and obey them. This is all just an illusion; one ultimately has the power to say no. What are they going to do if everyone stops participating in the current system?

It is finally time that this nation as a collective get over this great illusion of fear, and let love take control and guide the people down their natural path. There is a better way and as John Lennon famously said, “All you need is love.”

Out of the Dream – Spiritual Awakening, Ego Death, and the Infinite Beyond ~ April 12, 2018

April 12th, 2018

By Juliet Tang

Contributing writer for Wake Up World

Awake In the Dream

For most people, spiritual awakening entails waking up in the dream, dissolving all perceived limitations, transforming their mindset, and embracing conscious creation. This is also known as ego death because it is a process in which your ego continues to shed more layers of false control so you can gradually embody your true self – the limitless Source Energy that has the power to be, do and create anything it desires.

You can awaken in the dream at any time. From what I’ve witnessed, most wake up after a system failure of some sort – that is, you experience some type of crisis in one or more of the four major areas (purpose/career, love, health or spiritual expression) in life where all your values, beliefs and habits no longer support you and where you want to go.

As you question everything that has led you to this point, the external pressure combined with the internal turmoil force you to dive deeper into your soul for answers and a new way of being.

From there on, it becomes a glorious, and at times exquisitely painful journey of letting go, and coming to the integrity of your wholeness. You can read more about the steps of awakening in my article, Awakening: 7 Steps to Ease the Labor Pain of Spiritual Rebirth.

It is essential for me to add this reminder that whether you are fully immersed in this dream called life, awake in the dream, or somewhere else, it is the perfect place for you to be. You can always choose to continue your evolution, but it does not take away any of your intrinsic and unconditional perfection which is the essence of you.

I am sharing this article, and my Free Awakening Guide (which you can access here) purely as a guide to assist you in navigating this path.

Waking Out of the Dream

For the longest time, I was awake in the dream, and couldn’t be happier with where I was. I vaguely knew about the “out of the dream” state, yet had no desire to be anything other than what I was.

One day out of nowhere, I was booted from the Matrix.

You hear such tales from those who have just completed ten days of Vipassana in India, or are communing with the divine on the top of Machu Picchu in Peru, yet mine occurred in my living room in New York one morning as I was mindlessly watching the cars driving by Time Square.

Looking back, though I may have scribbled notes here and there, it feels impossible for me to accurately describe what took place exactly.

It felt like my entire reality collapsed in one single moment that stretched into an eternity. Just like in an ayahuasca ceremony, the moment slowed down as my past, present and future merged into one moment of Now. The Now then crumbled into Nothingness piece by piece at an alarming rate. Glimpses of my former life from both the unawake and awake states flashed before my eyes, and slowly dissolved into oblivion one by one.

All identities I ever took on melted into Nothingness.

I tried hard to remember what led me to this point. Prior to this, I went through an intense period of surrendering, and an urge to expand even more. I didn’t know what I was searching, but I trusted I was being guided, and it wasn’t up to me to know.

Honestly, none of it was relevant, or mattered.

Reality and dream, matter and energy, manifested and unmanifested…everything simply became One, and returned to Nothingness along with the idea of self – the “I.”

The Ultimate Ego Death

Up until that moment, I still identified with the “I” as a conscious creator, yet even that had to be let go of.

The formless state of being brought on laser clarity. I was able to see no matter how conscious I believed I was, even all that was made up as part of the dream I was in.

It was as if all this time, I was watching a play where not only I was the director and viewer, but also an actor who played the “I.” The play was so engaging that the viewer completely forgot she was outside of the play, and solely identified with the actor who took on the storyline of someone who woke up in the dream, transformed past blockages, and became a mentor to guide others. Suddenly due to the system failure, everything shut down, the actor ceased to exist, and for the first time, the “I” outside of the play woke up, and realized she was watching herself playing a role the entire time.

Of course, the “I” outside of the play then had to laugh at the idea of “I” because there has never been an “I;” there is only formless Source Energy that is ever becoming, and returning to Emptiness. Suddenly, the form, or identity of a conscious creator that I embodied for years seemed restricting for the first time.

Through the clarity, I also realized just how precisely and brilliantly every mechanism in the Matrix is designed to perpetuate the dream so its actors hardly question the validity of our seamless make-believe dream state. But if you look close enough which almost always means a spiritual awakening, you may start to notice the patterns and invisible universal laws that are governing the system, and this is when this game called life becomes more fun once you figure out the “rules.”

I tried holding onto everything I knew and everything I was out of instinct, but I may as well be attempting to catch water with my fingers. The process was ruthlessly destructive as it eradicated every ounce of knowing I believed I had.

It felt like the ultimate death of my humanity, and the only thing I could do was weeping for what I believed to be lost.

All was lost. It was a beautiful dream, but I was still in a human body. I swang back and forth between “I” and “no I,” and had no idea what awaited me or how I could ever lead a “normal” life after this.

The question that many who crossed this gate before me asked rose:

What is the Point of All This?

There is none. But that is not equivalent to having no consequences, or cause and effect for as long as we are in the human bodies in this time-space dimension.

Truthfully, there is never any point in anything, or in any of the previous steps of spiritual awakening. However, the ego feels the need to assign a goal or meaning for each step so you could feel like you are working towards something even in the process of ego death.

Although everyone’s spiritual awakening journey is unique and there is no linear path, the common foci during the initial steps are usually healing and releasing past conditioning, tapping into authenticity, and installing empowering patterns and habits. Slowly, you will feel called to truly learn to trust life as you are discovering your soul mission, passions and gifts, and embodying the conscious creator within. Later on, deliberate creation and surrendering become more effortless which lead to greater degrees of freedom, joy and fulfillment. Many choose to stop here, and all these pit stops are beautiful places to be.

I should also add that the entire hero’s journey of waking up is one epic process of letting go. Waking up ignites an unstoppable wild fire within that strips away all pretence, and burns away everything that you are not – you are not any thing.

Eventually, life may invite you to completely surrender the idea of “I” and return to the formless state where radiant Nothingness awaits. Sometimes, it is the physical death, but more often than not, it is just another place in awakening where you no longer need to squeeze yourself into any form, including the form of “an awakened soul” or “a creator” if you choose not to. In other words, you can be whatever you choose to be.

The Infinite Beyond

A long month of what felt like depression followed after I woke out of the dream. Nothing helped, and I wasn’t expecting it to. I was forced to let go of any residual energy pattern from my “previous life.”

Physically, everything appeared the same. My laptop was still solid, my relationships were still there, and I still could not fly in or out of the Matrix like Neo. My days went on as if nothing happened with everyone playing out their role in the play in the most convincing way.

I gained deeper understanding of Oneness. For as long as I identified myself as a person, even as an awakened one, I never experienced true Oneness because the label of being a person separated me from all. For a while, I dwelled in Oneness and saw myself – the true essence of Emptiness in everything, and everyone.

I also experienced myself as pure Consciousness for prolonged periods of time, something I was only able to accomplish during plant medicine ceremonies or long meditations. It felt liberating, and strange at times to have a body and mind without identifying with either.

Slowly, I became aware that even though I let go of all form, I could still choose to take on any form, concept or idea to be, do and create whatever inspiration gifted me except this time around, I no longer feel any attachment to any identity, or result. Rather than being the conscious creator who was co-creating with Source, Source is here to work through me just like It is working through you so It could experience Itself through our senses.

Freedom to take on any form, freedom to choose, and freedom to be anything, isn’t this what Consciousness is?

Utter liberation.

There is zero goal in this part (or any part) of the journey called life, but the journey itself is the goal. This. Moment. Is. The. Goal. It has always been so. And you can always choose any thing, form or identity that sets your soul on fire in this infinite playground called life.

Wherever you are, know that you have the power to call in whatever is aligned with what feels most joyous and right to you. Feel free to access my Free Awakening Guide that is designed to empower you to awaken to your truth, and exercise the freedom of choice to be anything you desire to be. This article is an excerpt of the Guide.

Near Death — By Graham Hancock

For an instant I was so near death:

That I could almost reach out and touch the stars.

I was in that place where there is no time,

Hanging in heaven, or exiled in eternity.

Had I wished, I could have pushed my hand

Out and up through the roof of the world

And escaped forever from a lifetime of tomorrows.

For a million years that did not age the face of time,

My life rested against stillness

— Until all was still —

And even the room became a universe

Where nothing was too big

And a microcosm where nothing was too small.

Cannabis – The Ultimate in Neuroprotection ~ March 22, 2018

By Mary Biles

Guest writer for Wake Up World

Earlier this year we saw the announcement that THCa, another molecule found in the cannabis plant, has neuroprotective effects. Apart from flying in the face of the belief that cannabis damages brain cells, why should we care whether something is neuroprotective or not?

The death of brain cells is a natural part of the ageing process. Cells die off and the body is also capable of making new ones through neurogenesis. But the older we get, the more susceptible we become to ‘inappropriate cell death’ through traumatic injury, environmental toxins, cardiovascular disorders, infectious agents, or genetic diseases. That’s why scientists are researching neuroprotective drugs to limit the damage caused to brain cells after acute events such as strokes, to slow down the progression of neurodegenerative diseases, and to even prevent unnecessary cell death from happening in the first place.

Different molecules in the cannabis plant – called cannabinoids – are being investigated for their neuroprotective action, but in order to understand why, let’s first take a look at why brain cells die off in the first place.

What causes brain cell death?

1. Oxidative stress

Just being alive and burning energy creates oxidative stress – damage caused by free radicals which the body cannot remove. Dr Joseph Mercola describes the result a sort of ‘biological rusting’ where there is too much oxygen in our tissues leading to a host of age related diseases such as chronic inflammation, cancer, neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s, autoimmune conditions, heart disease, and strokes.

2. Excitotoxicity

Too much activity in the brain can cause neurons to die off. This is generally attributed to over stimulation by the neurotransmitter glutamate, a situation commonly found in many neurodegenerative diseases and following strokes.

3. Inflammatory changes

Inflammation is usually a sign of the immune system going about its job of cleaning up after an injury or dealing with a foreign invasion such as a bacteria or a virus. However, too much inflammation can cause cell death. According to Gary Wenk, PhD, professor of neuroscience, immunology and medical genetics at Ohio State University, ‘PET imaging studies of humans have shown that after age thirty the brain gradually displays increasing evidence of inflammation. With advancing age, brain inflammation continues to worsen leading to a decline in the production of new neurons, called neurogenesis, that are important for making new memories’.

4. Iron accumulation

Scientists believe excess iron in the brain plays a role in degenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). This iron build-up is may be part of the cycle of excitotoxicity and brain cell death.

5. Brain proteins

While much is still to be learned about diseases such as Alzheimer’s, scientists now know that a common factor is the build up of proteins called beta-amyloid which form into plaques. It is thought these plaques may block cell-to-cell signalling at synapses and create excess inflammation as the immune system kicks in to attack the affected cells.

A protein called tumor necrosis factor (TNF) has also been found present in neurodegenerative diseases, and is further associated with excitotoxicity and high levels of glutamate.

With all these pathological changes occurring in conditions related to a degeneration in the brain, it would make sense that scientists are looking for a pharmaceutical magic bullet that can address each and every one of them. But what if they didn’t have to look any further than the cannabis plant?

THCA an exciting neuroprotective prospective?

Let’s get back to the most recent discovery regarding the neuroprotective qualities of THCA. First things first, THCA is the acid precursor of THC, the most well known and generally abundant compound in cannabis. If you picked the leaves and flowers straight off a cannabis plant, you’d find barely any THC, what you’d get instead is plenty of THCA. That’s because in order to become THC, THCA must go through some sort of heat process or decarboxylation.

Comparatively little research has been done on THCA. However, scientists do know is that it has no psychoactive effect and appears to be anti-inflammatory, anti-emetic and shows some anecdotal success in reducing seizures.

This latest research adds neuroprotection to the list. It studied the effect of the raw cannabinoid on cells and mice modified to elicit the symptoms of Huntington’s disease. In the cell cultures they found THCA caused an increase in mitochondrial mass as well as reducing cell toxicity, while in the mice, THCA improved their Huntington’s related restricted movement, prevented striatal degeneration and reduced the inflammation caused by the disease.

Scientists noticed that these effects were elicited independently of the endocannabinoid system, concluding:

“THCA shows potent neuroprotective activity, worth consideration for the treatment of Huntington’s Disease and possibly other neurodegenerative and neuroinflammatory diseases.”

While this further strengthens the growing health trend towards consuming raw cannabis, in a laboratory setting acid cannabinoids can be quite hard to work with due to their instability and transformation into their decarboxylated versions.

What about the other cannabinoids?

One of the great mystifying contradictions in the world of medical cannabis is how on the one hand it is a schedule 1 banned substance deemed bereft of any therapeutic value and yet the United States Federal Government holds a patent for the plant’s principal cannabinoids based on their antioxidant and neuroprotective effects. United States Patent US6630507 states how cannabinoids are:

“… useful in the treatment and prophylaxis of wide variety of oxidation associated diseases, such as ischemic, age-related, inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. The cannabinoids are found to have particular application as neuroprotectants, for example in limiting neurological damage following ischemic insults, such as stroke and trauma, or in the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease and HIV dementia.”

Contradiction aside, this public proclamation based on obvious vested financial interests is hardly surprising when one considers that cannabinoids like THC and CBD provide a potentially unique multipronged approach to preventing, protecting and limiting the damage caused by strokes and neurodegenerative disease.

One of the key reasons being that THC and CBD as considered powerful antioxidants, on a par with vitamins C and E. Studies have found that cannabinoids can reduce the excitotoxicity associated with too much glutamate production as well as protecting brain cells against the damage caused by excessive iron.

Not only that, but cannabinoids have been found to promote the holy grail of the healthy ageing brain, neurogenesis, or the growth of new brain cells. Research has shown the administration of plant cannabinoids promoted hippocampal neurogenesis – new cell growth in the region of the brain associated both with memory and learning.

Cannabinoids have also shown promise in reducing the neuro-inflammation found in rodents injected with the amyloid beta protein which as discussed before can lead to neuronal cell death in Alzheimer’s.

And finally, CBD in particular is thought to limit the damage caused to the brain after a stroke by blocking the neurotransmitter, glutamate.

Cannabis – unique multiple targeted neuroprotection

To put this into perspective, so far most neuroprotective drugs under research are based on single therapeutic targets. They aim to protect the brain by doing one thing at a time.

Explains Javier Fernandez Ruiz, Professor of Molecular Biology specialising in neurodegenerative diseases at the Complutense University in Madrid:

“This is one of the great advantages of cannabinoids. They have a very wide spectrum and are extremely varied compared to other neuroprotective agents that have been researched until now. These have consisted of anti-excitotoxins to improve the glutamate homeostasis, antioxidants or anti-inflammatories. But what we know is that the various stimuli that cause cell death work together. In other words, where there is excitotoxicity there is oxidative stress, the proteins become oxidized, they lose their function, they form together to make plaques, which causes an inflammatory response.

“We are not going to halt neurodegenerative diseases unless we have neuroprotective strategies that work together by reducing inflammation while at the same time being antioxidants, inducing autophagy in order to eliminate the protein build up, and returning the glutamate levels to normal.

“This is something that cannabinoids can do, either one cannabinoid or a number of cannabinoids together.”

So far, the field of neuroprotective pharmacological drugs is in its infancy, both in medical cannabis derivative research and further afield. However, the race is on to see who can crack the puzzle and find the combination of cannabinoids that will not only slow down neurodegenerative disease, but maybe even prevent us from getting them in the first place.

From Trauma to Transcendence Through Neuroplasticity ~ Nov. 24, 2017

“Neurons that fire together, wire together,” Dr. Max Cynader puts it, and it’s difficult to come across a more pertinent adage in today’s era. Discussion of neurons firing and wiring draws implications so vast that it impacts everything from positive and negative emotional spectrums, to the difference between being handicapped, and a genius – or life and death. Modern science has now begun to steer away from the traditional ideology of fixated neurology and is instead coming to find that a person’s given neurological state can very largely be conceptualized as a transitory state that is dictated by a person’s subconscious drives and instincts.

The waking, alert thought-formations that people call “thoughts” are merely periods at the end of a sentence of cognitive process, and while it may be a tricky thing to pinpoint, understanding the full spectrum of thought process can often be the difference between a healthy and unhealthy outlook on life. After all, how can one operate a piece of machinery when they have not been taught how? They could try to deduce its proper usage, but this often will lead to steps missing and/or the overall process being poorly elaborated. Yet it could also lead to new and novel ways of using the machinery, given that the person has been meticulous and empirical enough to properly deduce the fundamental processes of the machinery. This difference between the two methods, which can be considered “Trauma” and “Transcendence,” is neuroplasticity.

Scientists are coming to find that neurological “thought complexes” (neuronal activity that assimilates a memory, or an idea, et cetera; the syntax of the neuron) that are configured by a child from their parent during its developmental years will play an instrumental role in their genetic expression throughout life. A field that attempts to study this is “epigenetics,” “epi” meaning “on top of,” implying that all genes must be allowed an activation protocol in order to express themselves. This activation protocol can be considered part of the thought-complex “sentence” that the waking-alert thought punctuates the end of.

From a philosophical perspective, life can very much be considered a hand of cards in poker, with each card being a neuron. The player only has what they’ve been given, but that doesn’t inhibit the variety of possibilities that they are able to produce with their cards at hand, nor does it inhibit the possibilities that the other players will unlock around them, or the original player’s potential to acquire new or different cards to utilize. In this regard, neuroplasticity is the representation of the Observer Effect within the physical state of a person’s own conscious experience. Without observation, the “particle” will continue to embody a waveform, and only when it is accentuated by intention/attention will it take its particle form. Similarly, when a thought-complex is not given any sort of intention/attention, it will continue to ripple outward and “wave” throughout the cognitive experience, until it is given its proper attention and guided in a direction intended by the user.

Not surprisingly, meditation has become known as the center point component in neuroplasticity. Other similar forms of cognitive therapy that help with neuroplasticity (that can all be considered different aspects of meditation) are BioFeedback, Hypnosis, Psychedelic therapy, empirical dream analysis, and even traditional psychotherapy. Scientists are also finding that mental discrepancies like Borderline Personality Disorder are due to a dysregulation of reward processes in the brain, resulting in more internal drive for reward, with too little control to actually handle it, thus resulting in the tumultuous imbalance of a person with BPD’s mental state at any given time.

This can be a perfect example of thought complexes running amuck that have not been given the proper attention, almost always to very little fault of the individual, because these thought complexes were often bestowed upon them at very early ages. However, if there is any objective truth to life, it is that with any past traumas in mind, the poor decisions of the individual, due to their own thought-complexes, fall squarely on their own shoulders. Following this thread of thought, in comparative ancient shamanism, it was typical for the shaman of the people to be a person that had survived a near-death experience as a child, or some type of illness. They had to experience a trauma that jostled them from their fixated mindset of waking life and cause them to activate fresh neuronal activity in order to survive.

Logistically speaking, when this fresh neuronal activity has been excavated, it often is considered “excess baggage” because it is something that has been incorporated into a person’s thought process without receiving some sort of diachronic cognitive attention from the individual. It’s an outlier plot point on the graph, so to speak. Invoking neuroplasticity however, through extensive cognitive therapies guided with intention and attention, can bring about the assimilation of these outlier thought-complexes, and thus the “excess baggage” becomes more “internal computing RAM” (random access memory; a computer term for those unaware.)

Through an elasticity of thought-complex, something that all humans have the capacity for whether it is utilized or not, it is quite possible and usual for someone to transcend the given thought-complexes of their personal traumas, and reconfigure them to their advantage. This was the way of the ancient shaman, and the true nature of ancient healing. Used in an anthropological context, the word “fetish” characterizes the idea of investing a certain amount of power into something through intention that would not otherwise have any power.

In ancient cultures, the people knew that a stick, a feather, some sinew and some beads were all respectively nothing particularly important, yet when a person utilized their intentions and attention to combine all these ingredients, it was suddenly agreed to be medicine. This is not to say that this definition of medicine was ill-founded either, but rather that these medicines were not of the body–they were of the mind. A true medicine man knows that he cannot fix the body until he fixes the mind, and because of this, the shaman is the man who understands the rehabilitative process of neuroplasticity. As he used this plasticity to regain his own health, so can he learn to understand the empirical process of the human brain, so as to catalyze these changes within the other individuals looking for it.

This is the true nature of theological “magick.” It is understanding the underlying mechanisms of the human brain through symbolism (something that the brain cannot form thoughts without), and it is understanding how this connects to the processes of neurological stasis. It is a fundamental axiom of life that one simply cannot begin to change their own thought process without a novel catalyst–something that is new, unfamiliar, and transitional to a new experience. The reason knowledge and wisdom are often equated with pain and trauma in this regard, is because the things that are new, unfamiliar, and that lead to change are more often than not considered with a degree of trauma. The ancient concept of magick is not the ability to fly on a broomstick or talk to forest spirits, but rather learning the fundamental processes of the deep chasms of human consciousness in order for one to find their own way out of the pit. This is so they can ultimately help others do the same. This is the nature of trauma to transcendence through neuroplasticity.

Dreamweaving

For anyone looking to evoke the therapeutic potentials of neuroplasticity in a way that doesn’t involve paying for therapies or any sort of conference with another person, the processes of Dream Incubation and Dream Analysis are highly recommended, and will be briefly described here. While there is no set classification of the method, this type of dream therapy could be considered “Dreamweaving.”

Dream Incubation is the concept of “incubating” a dream as an individual falls asleep. This typically will require sensory deprivation to gain the best results, which means no television or radio or music, but depending on the person and the thought, certain music or even online-lectures can be very beneficial to help “incubate.” The trick here is to focus on the thought from an objective perspective; if a person is trying to understand an event in their lives, it is suggested that they analyze the event from an omnipotent perspective, as if they themselves were another character as well. Doing so will lead to dreams on the subject, guaranteed. The only thing that cannot be guaranteed is whether the person will remember this dream at first, and so repetition is usually required. Continuation of this process will lead to definitive dream incubation.

Once a person can learn to incubate these concepts when they fall asleep, the next step will be upon waking up. It is important for anyone that is Dreamweaving to have a writing utensil and a notebook next to their bed, an electronic device will not do. There are certain things about the ritual of writing on paper, like one’s own handwriting, that will help a person connect with their thoughts much more effectively than any laptop or phone. After writing down the full dream sequence, the person should then make a list of all the nouns (people, places, things) in their dream, using personal discretion to gauge any detail’s relevancy. Once this list has been gathered, the person should take the first noun on the list, and follow these three steps:

1) Physical descriptive adjective, free word association. If the noun is a cat, then the person should open their brain to the first logical word they find in their thoughts that is associated with cat. This should not be given more than a 1.5 seconds of thought, because after this the spontaneity of the exercise is lost. Let’s say a person gets “yarn” from “cat.”

2) Emotional descriptive adjective, free word association. If the physical adjective from “cat” was “yarn,” the person then seeks to use the same process illustrated in Step 1, except this time searching for the first emotional description of “yarn” that comes to mind. Let’s say the person gets “tangled.”

3) From cat, the person can subjectively deduce, given the context of their own brain and the feeling of their dream, that on some level this cat represents a feeling of tangling, perhaps of emotional frustration that could be tied to a whole number of things; perhaps an owner of the cat that was dreamt of.

At its core, Dreamweaving is a Science of the Self, and the more it is practiced, the more accurate it will become for the individual. Furthermore, its efficacy and overall results can only be interpreted and represented by the individual because of this. Utilizing the process of Dreamweaving is an excellent way to begin observing one’s own thought-complexes, so as to begin the process of neuroplasticity.
