Ah! The full moon was Tuesday, so why am I talking about the full moon today on Wed. July 20? Why it’s because all of us are now in the space this particular full moon brings between the ending of a period of instability (didn’t you feel this?) and the beginning of a time of new directions.

Since the New Moon, which marked the beginning of the lunar cycle on 4th July, our hearts have finally emerged from a long period of uncertainty. We have again been able to feel into the powerful potential our futures hold and begin re-shaping and aligning ourselves with a deeper sense of positivity and interconnection.
As we continue to integrate the transition from instability to a sense of natural order, the energy of today’s Full Moon in Capricorn is bringing the theme of this lunar cycle into full awareness: The story we have all been experiencing on some level is the re-alignment with a totally new direction in our lives. With the energies flowing and reshaping us so intensely at this time, is can be challenging to really get a grasp on where we are going and what all this is ultimately going to mean for us, both personally and as a collective. But one thing is for sure — although the tide hasn’t yet turned in the outer world, we are each shifting, from looking to others for ‘authority’ to living by our own of inner authority. And with that shift comes a renewed sense of personal identity.
With the New Moon in Cancer on 4th July, we began a cycle of shifting into a new identity, bringing into our awareness a release of old deeply ingrained emotional and psychological patterns that previously shaped how we related to the world. The Axis of Capricorn/Cancer represents the way we define ourselves in our inner (Cancer) and outer (Capricorn) worlds. The dissolving of these patterns left us feeling ungrounded, uncertain of where we were and which direction was right for us. How we responded to this uncertainty depended greatly on our sense of trust in the relationship with have with the great cosmic flow of the universe.
Now, with today’s Full Moon in Capricorn, we have reached a point where we can begin to sense instinctively that a new direction has emerged. The connection Mars (in Scorpio) is making to Pluto (in Capricorn), Chiron (in Pisces) and the Sun (in Cancer) is highlighting this powerful internal shift. What is available for us now is the next step in the natural maturation of our awareness; the energetic support to activate our inner sovereignty in the outer world, and gradually replace outdated self-identities with new self-empowered ways of responding to life.
Adding purpose to this dynamic is the alignment of Uranus (Aries) to Mars (Scorpio) and the Sun (Cancer). New ways of interacting with the world are no longer just desirable, they have become necessary, as we ourselves have changed. Impermanent, the sense of self we identified with throughout our evolution to this point — the self-identity we used to evolve ourselves — is rapidly dying. The purification process is now at the point where we are in open space, the space between what was and what is to become. As we move through this unique phase, we are invited to look at the past and see how the identities, forms and philosophies that once were the holders of our inspiration, dreams, ideals and even delusions, helped us evolve us to this point. Honor them; they are what brought you here.
Full Moon Message: The Space Between What Was and What is to Become.
As we come to the end of a story, before we begin our new journey, there is a space. This is a space of endings, but also beginnings. It is experienced as limitation but also possibility; limitation in connection to the old story which is coming to an end, and the possibility of the new direction which is yet to be explored.
It is not easy to exist in the duality of the space between endings and beginnings, between the known and the unknown, for we must hold the consciousness of both simultaneously. In this space between worlds, there is a way to experience this time of transition respectfully and gracefully — understanding that the by limitations experienced are the natural ending and closing of a chapter. That is how natural endings work; limitations bringing us to a natural time of reflection, to examine the details of how you (and we) came to this point, to gain wisdom before this chapter ends and the next begins. In the now we have the ability to see the entire cycle behind us, but what lies ahead is still unknown to us. So, as we move through this cycle of completion, we are being asked to maintain a sense of self mastery, allowing ourselves to be open, receptive and humbled, as we move into the unknown; to be disciplined, not conditioning the new with the past.
Each potential experience is now here, and it can be filled with anxiety and uncertainty, but this is purely due to the nature of the mind. Our future is about trusting in the deeper pulse of life and our place within it; no longer living under time-stress but living with perfect timing.
In the infinite possibilities of the journey ahead, the limitations still felt from the cycle of the past are a blessing, easing us into this new cycle with a sense of direction and focus, not lost in the possibilities of the future. It is crucial at this time to stay in touch with our feminine energy, navigating our way with receptivity and response, allowing the pull of the natural direction to lead the way, acting when there is a need to do so, gracefully and without force. For in this new chapter we are not masters, we are novices. But we are blessed with the guidance of the natural flow, always keeping us to our course, if we are receptive and open to it.
Don’t be in a hurry for all will unfold in the right time. Relax, and trust the process. Watch the universe bring ___________.
