Something Extraordinary Is Happening in the World, And Most People Haven’t Noticed ~ Dec. 30, 2015

Most of us haven’t quite realized there is something extraordinary happening.

A few months ago, I freed myself from standard-procedure society. I broke the chains of fear that kept me locked up into the system. Since then, I see the world from a different perspective: the one that everything is going through change and that most of us are unaware of that.

Why is the world changing? In this post, I’ll point out the eight reasons that lead me to believe it.

1. No one can stand the employment model any longer.

We are reaching our limits. People working with big corporations can’t stand their jobs. The lack of purpose knocks on your door as if it came from inside you like a yell of despair.

People want out. They want to drop everything. Take a look on how many people are willing to risk entrepreneurship, people leaving on sabbaticals, people with work-related depression, people in burnout.

2. The entrepreneurship model is also changing.

Over the past few years, with the explosion of startups, thousands of entrepreneurs turned their garages into offices to bring their billion-dollar ideas to life. The vortex of entrepreneurship was to find an investor and get funded — to be funded was like winning the World Cup or the Super Bowl.

But what happens after you get funded?

“Isn’t it absurd that we, 7 billion of us living in the same planet, have grown further apart from each other?”

You get back to being an employee. You may have brought in people not sharing your dream, not in agreement with your purpose, and soon it’s all about the money. The financial end becomes the main driver of your business.

People are suffering with it. Excellent startups began to tumble because the money-seeking model is endless.

A new way to endeavor is needed. Good people are doing it already.

3. The rise of collaboration.

Many people have figured out that it doesn’t make any sense to go on by yourself. Many people have awakened from the “each man for himself” mad mentality.

Stop, take a step back, and think. Isn’t it absurd that we, 7 billion of us living in the same planet, have grown further apart from each other? What sense does it make to turn your back on the thousands, maybe millions, of people living around you in the same city? Every time it crosses my mind, I feel blue.

Fortunately, things are changing. Sharing, collaborative economy concepts are being implemented, and it points towards a new direction. The direction of collaborating, of sharing, of helping, of togetherness.

This is beautiful to watch. It touches me.

4. We are finally figuring out what the Internet is.

The Internet is an incredibly spectacular thing, and only now — after so many years — we are understanding its power. With the Internet, the world is opened, the barriers fall, the separation ends, the togetherness starts, the collaboration explodes, the help emerges.

Some nations saw true revolutions that used the Internet as the primary catalyst, such as the Arab Spring. Here in Brazil, we are just starting to make a better use out of this amazing tool.

Internet is taking down mass control. The big media groups controlling news by how it suits best what they want the message to be and what they want us to read are no longer the sole owners of information. You go after what you want. You bond to whomever you want. You explore whatever you may want to.

With the advent of the Internet, the small are no longer speechless. There is a voice. The anonymous become acknowledged. The world comes together. And then the system may fall.

5. The fall of exaggerated consumerism.

For too long, we’ve been manipulated to consume as much as we possibly can, to buy every new product launched — the newest car, the latest iPhone, the top brands, lots of clothes, shoes, lots and lots and lots of pretty much anything we could our hands on.

Going against the crowd, many people have understood that this is way off. Lowsumerism, slow life and slow food are a few types of action being taken as we speak, pointing out the contradiction of how absurdly we have come to organize ourselves.

“With the advent of the Internet, the small are no longer speechless. There is a voice. The anonymous become acknowledged. The world comes together. “

Fewer people are using cars. Fewer people are overspending. And more people are swapping clothes, buying used goods, sharing assets, cars, apartments, offices.

We don’t need all of that they told us we needed. And this consciousness of new consumerism can take down any company living on the exaggerated end of it.

6. Healthy and organic eating.

We were so crazy we even accepted eating anything! It only needed to taste good, and everything would be alright.

We were so disconnected that companies started to practically poison our food, and we didn’t say anything!

But then some people started waking up, enabling and strengthening healthy and organic eating.

This is only going to get stronger.

But what has this got to do with economy and work? Just about everything, I’d say.

Food production is one of the basic fundamentals of our society. If we change our mindset, our eating habit and our way of consuming, corporations will have to respond and adapt to a new market.

The small farmer is getting back to being relevant to the whole chain of production. People are even growing plants and seeds inside their homes as well.

And that reshapes the whole economy.

7. The awakening of spirituality.

How many friends do you have who practice yoga? What about meditation? Now think back, 10 years ago. How many people did you know by then who practiced these activities?

Spirituality, for too long, was for esoteric folks — those weird-like and mystic people.

But fortunately, this is also changing. We’ve come to the edge of reason and rationality. We were able to realize that, with only our conscious mind, we can’t figure out everything that goes on here. There is something else going on, and I’m sure you want to get hold of that as well.

You want to understand how these things work — how life operates, what happens after death, what is this energy thing people talk about so much, what is quantum physics, how thoughts can be materialized and create our sense of reality, what is coincidence and synchronicity, why meditation works, how it’s possible to cure some ailments using nothing but bare hands, how those alternative therapies not always approved by regular medicine can actually work sometimes.

Companies are providing meditation to their employees. Even schools are teaching the young how to meditate. Think about it.

8 . Un-schooling trends.

Who created this teaching model? Who chose the classes you have to take? Who chose the lessons we learn in history classes? Why didn’t they teach us the truth about other ancient civilizations?
Why should kids follow a certain set of rules? Why should they watch everything in silence? Why should they wear a uniform? What about taking a test to prove what you actually learned?

We developed a model that perpetuates and replicates followers of the system, that breed people into ordinary human beings.

Fortunately, a lot of people are working to rethink that though concepts such as un-schooling, hack-schooling and homeschooling.

Maybe you’ve never thought of that and even may be in shock. But it’s happening.

Silently, people are being woken up and are realizing how crazy it is to live in this society.
Look at all these new actions and try to think everything we were taught so far is normal. I don’t think it is.

There is something extraordinary happening.

Relationships: The Costs of Staying When We Should Leave ~ Dec. 30, 2015

hearts

By Jack Adam Weber L.Ac., Dipl. C.H.

Contributing Writer for Wake Up World

To stay in a relationship that doesn’t work, with someone whose integrity is significantly lacking, creates a downward spiral. It is hurtful to every aspect of our health, and is bad for the planet. What follows below is not a black and white account, so consider it to the degree that it feels true.

In our gut I think we know if a relationship doesn’t work, especially if we got into it (as we often do) for the sex, comfort, apathy, or our own loneliness. Yet, too often the fear, sadness, anger, and other difficult emotions we might have to face prevent us from leaving. Yet these are the same emotional places we denied to begin with, , spiritualitywhich, if we had faced and worked with them, could have prevented us from being frivolous with our precious hearts.

The inevitable result of fearing feeling our emotional pain is that we lie to ourselves — at the beginning, during, and at the end of a relationship. We have to ignore our guts, our bodies, its depths. We shut down a big part of our hearts to stay in denial. We sacrifice our own integrity to stay.

We become more of a taker than a giver because we have not found a way to be fulfilled by our own creative expression, because we have blocked this channel through the perpetual distraction of uncontrollable emotional codependency and acting out of old patterns.

As a result, our lives become superficial and anxiety-ridden. We cut ourselves off from the life-source of our bellies, from the creativity there, from our truth, from true security — all of which, in their fuller blossoming, lie at the transformed other end of our difficult emotions.

When we lie to ourselves, we become cold to other people, and uncaring, because we are being uncaring to ourselves. We become irritable and angry and selfish… because in our truth of truths we know we are not leaving what does not work, and we think we cannot. We cut ourselves off from the essence of life, which is to pursue a life that is honest, clear, and which calls to us from the very place we shut down in our fear. To lose track of one’s calling in life is to suffer greatly. Even if one cannot live it out, to honestly hear and to know that calling, is nourishing and comforting.

To get to this honesty is hard work. That’s why we deny it. But the joy of freedom, to be able to sit with oneself, quietly, and feel a deep “yes” is irreplaceable.

When we ignore our deep truth, we become addicts and act like addicts, unable to save ourselves from what doesn’t work. If this persists long enough, we develop other addictions and soon may altogether lose our compass in life. When we lose our compass we produce trash, on many levels. The saying goes…

“A true act leaves no wake.”

This is only one example demonstrating the downward cycle that results, ironically, from not facing our own pain and allowing ourselves to be transformed by it. This is the death that renews us. In denying this symbolic death, we make of our lives a living death, even if we are shiny on the outside. Yet we know inside if we are living a lie. We may be the only ones who know. And, that is enough. We are also the only ones who need to know if we are living truthfully. What everyone else sees and cares about means nothing, if we are lying. If they appreciate us, we can’t let in deeply because we are living a lie.

When we ignore the dark, our lives become haunted. Our light is fear-ridden, fickle, and flimsy. Our love becomes make-believe.

The way back is to follow our guts, what we know to be right, and endure all the difficult emotions that prevented us from doing what is right, from living honestly and wisely. Sometimes it takes years of denial and suffering until finally we are ready. It is never too late, though it becomes harder the more fake lives and substitute pleasures we heap on top of our initial denials.

There is no pleasure greater than living a deeply honest life, of following our truest callings. This is inner richness. It is worth more than all the superficial riches we acquired by lying, because we cannot enjoy those riches when our hearts are closed and shame-ridden, and our guts clogged with fear of facing the quiet truth inside.

To create a rich life, we must keep our hearts and our bellies clear, which means to live honestly and fiercely courageously, which includes being willing to deal with the most difficult feelings and journeys.

So, if this speaks enough to you, maybe today is the day you will begin to let go of what doesn’t work. Maybe today is the beginning of a new life, with yourself first — of letting the floodgates of freedom open again, and enduring all the muddy water until it runs clear again, which it will, because this is the gift of a true heart, from which emerge your gifts to the world, as the universe and all its supporting graces becomes yours again.

As a river has a natural course, so do our callings, our soul’s path. But this does not mean that we don’t have to do lots of paddling. It means we have to do more, which beats sinking and pretending to be afloat, anyway.

Once the water runs clear, we are more careful and ever-cautious not to pollute our lives by getting into and staying in situations that we know are wrong for us. We are more interested in using that energy to be effective in the world.

The more honest we become, the clearer and more caring our lives and actions become. And this allows us to be more aware of what is right for us, which in turn keeps us, and our relations, healthier. This is the upward spiral, rooted in honest connection with our depths, our deepest callings, the ground of life.

Caveat

To be fair, we are all complicated. We should not expect relationships to be any different. If we do, then this is likely our “grass is always greener” projection. Many times we don’t know whether to stay or to go, or hang in there. In these dubious situations, if we want to grow and actually change, it can be worthwhile to stick it out in relationship and work on ourselves with rock bottom honesty, even if our partner doesn’t. Or if we do leave, we should still work on our stuff alone. This is the honesty that can save our lives.

Most relationships can be worked out, when both parties do the inner work. And this is the most valuable work, meaning that we should not quit a relationship just because it is tough and troublesome. But, this is not the scenario I have described above, which is to deny our deep true selves, which usually is riddled with lots of passive-aggressive sex and an impotency to follow what we know is right.

Watch Your Weather Change: The Whole World Laughing ~ Dec. 29, 2015

weatherchange.com

Okay…I “get it” and am now so very happy and content with myself! I “get it” that I love myself with abandon, because it is this very trait which allows me to love others regardless of their actions. Now I feel in-touch with myself, now I feel my own scope and power…over ME!

I get it! BE in love with yourself, BE your own “best friend”, BE your own lover inside! There is nothing wrong as YOU have ability to feel the joy in your existance and it’s better than ok to feel this way…by yourself! No one else need apply as only you can do this.

At first I wondered, is this all a big ego trip? Nah…because I do not want to be in control of anyone else, or in charge of anything else in my life. At the risk of being narcissistic, all I want now is to be ME, in all of my glory! What has prompted this change?

Do I have a twin flame. You bet. I he with me right now? Nope, and may not be in this lifetime. But you know what? Whatever I feel for my twin flame is what I should feel…for ME! So…now I AM at peace with myself, with my world, and with my Universe. I do not need to know all of the answers as long as I love ME!

I’m thinking this is a positive change in my consciousness, and that’s what all of our current world scenario is all about…to cause each of humanity to learn to love themselves! Now, let’s read and this article, BE in love with yourself, and…

Injoy!

No matter what words you want to apply to the concept, or what cause you choose to attribute the effect to… Something is changing.

There is a major “glitch in The Matrix”, and that Déjà vu.  They changed something.  The frequency shifted.  Something, is very different.  Very, off.

Please don’t misunderstand me, the results are not all negative.  Fairly balanced in my own opinion.  Off, none the less.  I like to say the masks are breaking, but perhaps you have another metaphor or analogy that better suits yourself.  People are acting out.  Whether it be good, or bad feelings, these extremes are on the surface.  All those little skeletons are peeking out of the closet.  You’re dancing, but no one hears your music, so you just look crazy.

“Now you’ll see the damage I’ve done, my lies are in the light and my shadow in the sun.”  –  “Everything I want to be I already am and so much more, loved, and powerful beyond imagination.”

The creation of a beautiful paradox.  The breaking of the masks.

It’s that period where the transition begins from the caterpillar to the butterfly or moth.  It will hurt.  It will be amazing.  It will be everything and nothing.

So how do we deal with ourselves?  How do we deal with each other?

Isolation is the first impulse.  Yet it is gathering that we need.  Difference will be so obvious.  Yet it’s unity that we seek.  Damn, it’s a good thing we are thinking before we feel.

This is the time all that work you’ve done was preparing for.  All that “raising your vibration” or consciousness or love energy.  All that forgiveness and compassion… All to be tested now as you are called to action.  You know you hear the call.  You feel it in every cell of your being.

For some of you…You came for this.  You wanted it.  A challenge.   For others… This is not, and will not be, enjoyable.  Although the end result will be worth the ride.

This is nothing to worry about, merely something to remain conscious of,  so that you can act to the best of your ability and minimize potential regrets.  Do your best at all times.  Just be who you mean to be, that’s it.  Simple.

Along the way others will surprise you, and disappoint you.  Some will lash out and others will embrace… All normal.  Observe and enjoy the ride.

Keep your smile when you can, and feel those tears as they come.  You’re shedding old skin.  This is all good.  Observe and enjoy the ride.

Your heart may break, or it may grow three sizes.  Observe and enjoy the ride.

Your mind may burst or expand beyond reason.  Observe and enjoy the ride.

Believe in your preparation.  Trust yourself to ACT.  Because the masks are breaking and things that were long ago buried are coming to light.

If nothing else… Remember you are loved beyond all imagination.
