Ascension And Light Body. By William Henry.

Ascension is a spirituality evolutionary process that is being experienced currently on the planet.

On an individual soul level it is a raising from the human to the heavenly/cosmic or angelic realms.

On the planetary level it is a raising of our collective consciousness from I/Earth/Humanity- centered to We/Cosmic-extended extraterrestrial family centered.

For some there is a great deal of confusion, and sometimes fear, around this phenomena.

There shouldn’t be. This is a natural metamorphosis or transfiguration… and we’ve only just begun.

While there are many contemporary viewpoints on ascension (some in “New Age” philosophy call it a dimensional transition from our 3D ‘matrix’ to 5D), I turn to the ancient “ascension masters” for these matters.

This is not to discount the “modern mystics” or channelers who are advancing our awareness and understanding of this process. However, my readers and ascension workshop participants find it beneficial to understand that this phenomenon is not a spontaneous one.

Rather, we are experiencing the fruit of seeds planted long ago. To understand this fruit, and the trees upon which it grows, we must get to know the gardeners who planted them.

The questions that follow are derived from various interviews, conference panels and emails. The thoughts I share are based on over 20 years of academic study, contemplation and merging of the ancient beliefs and practices of ascension and human transformation into higher beings.

The following is not intended to be an all-encompassing exchange, but an introduction to this phenomenon and a conversation starter.

What we have forgotten is our true nature and the beginnings of our spiritual predicament.

Whether we realize (or acknowledge) it or not, western civilization, our culture, is based on the Judeo-Christian premise that the actions of Adam and Eve, the first humans, are responsible for our current spiritual malaise.

Even if you don’t believe they existed, their archetypal story is still the guiding narrative of our times (or End Times, according to some).

Civilization began with Eden and ends with the return of Christ and our ascension to, or unification with, a celestial realm (the Kingdom of Heaven) that completely transforms earth and introduces a time when all live with righteous values and, hence, have expanded spiritual capabilities.

We began to experience reality through the ego, our lower nature.

Yahweh punished us by giving us garments of skin…human skin (Genesis 3:21).

We realized we were ‘naked’ and ‘imperfect’.

Both of these terms mean we are no longer in our original light body or wearing our robes of light, but rather, are now in human bodies.

Ascension, or attainment of our original light body, is symbolized by this white robe.

Later, when Elijah reincarnated as John the Baptist, he re-attained the robe of light and transferred it to Jesus at the baptism, who demonstrated what I call “the light body effect” at his Transfiguration when he morphed into light.

She was considered the perfect example of our union with God.

Christians believe that Jesus is the ‘Second Adam’ who came to show us the Way to our original perfection (and light bodies).

All human growth and development is aimed at returning humanity to this pure state of being, our original state of perfection and existence in our light bodies.

In short, say the esoteric traditions, humans must remember that we originally were beings of light. Ever since the Fall we have sought the means to escape or transcend the confines of our biological bodies and return to our original light bodies.

Ascension is the awakening and raising of our collective consciousness, a quest for wholeness and holiness, that leads to the transformation (perfection) of the body from its material/solid flesh form into its original subtler light body form.

It is attained through the fruits of the tree of life and the holy spirit or the higher self (more momentarily).

Ascension is the mystic union or convergence of heaven and earth, creating a rarefied and compassionate spiritual zone of light and love on this planet (the Kingdom of Heaven) previously experienced by Adam and Eve, and glimpsed only by mystics and sages.

The awakened and ascending soul seeks to answer five key questions: Who am I? Where did I come from? What am I doing here? Where am I going when I leave? How do I get there?

Many of us probably have a health plan, a career plan, a family plan, but what about a plan for (y)our soul’s evolution?

The awakened and ascending souls asks: What is my ascension plan? How will I get home? If one is contemplating or working on these questions chances are they are an ascending soul.

Every spiritual tradition has a name for our ‘super’ ascended body.

In Sufism it is called “the most sacred body” and “supracelestial body”.

Taoists call it “the diamond body,” and those who have attained it are called “the immortals” and “the cloudwalkers.”

Yogic schools and Tantrics call it “the divine body.”

In Kriya yoga it is called “the body of bliss.”

In Vedanta it is called “the superconductive body.”

In the alchemical tradition, the Emerald Tablet calls it “the golden body.”

The Tibetans call it the “Rainbow Light Body”.

Christianity calls it the “glory body” or “born again body”.

These terms are descriptive and informative of our next state of being.

As I said, the common, and most informative, symbol of this state of being is the robe of light.

This garment was transmittable, indicating that it is quite likely a teaching rather than an actual, physical garment.

The robe of light may not be something that we acquire or recover, as much as it is something we uncover from within.

It is woven of light, whose frequency is covered over by false perceptions about who we are and identification with our flesh and blood bodies rather than our light bodies.

In Christianity, ascension is a literal, bodily return to heaven and emergence into the presence of God.

As Jesus will return the same way he left (Acts 1:11), it implies that the ascended body is different from our physical form.

It is a return to our original, light body form. This is why Jesus is shown wearing the garment of light in ascension art.

In Jewish mysticism this ascension sphere is called the Merkaba or “throne chariot”.

This is derived from Theravada (Great Chariot) and Mahayana (Little Chariot) Buddhism, as well as Zoroastrian and Egyptian feathered throne mysticism.

The mysticism was the foundation of early Christianity, and was prominent in its art, but was removed when Christianity shifted from an ascension movement to a religion.

All are populated. Entrance to all is accessed via portals or gates.

Entering these portals or gates requires that we are dressed appropriately.

That is, in our Robes of Light.

No.

Ascension is a soul choice. It is a condition of the heart, as specifically told in Psalm 24:3:

“Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? And who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood And has not sworn deceitfully.…”

God’s ‘hill’ is, in reality, the highest heaven and, according to Gnostic texts, is usually reached by journeying through seven halls (or holes) in space.

Technically, as a personal choice, ascension is a heresy (or hubris) to mainstream understanding of Judaism, Christianity and Islam at it implies that the soul can choose its time of ascension, rather than God choosing it for us.

Over and over again, beginning with the Egyptians, we hear that those who ascend are humans with a pure heart.

True ascension is heart-work, which is why perfection is attained through compassion. The Jewish mystical teachings are specific and were clearly spoken by Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount: Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God, says Matthew 5:8.

Later, in Matthew 22:7, Jesus tells us the greatest cosmic law and gives us the key to eternal life: “Love(the Lord) with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.”

Becoming peacemakers is essential to hitting this key. One can only see God once they have risen to a level of peace. This, of course, suggests a shift in vibration.

Pursue peace with all men, as well as holiness, without which no one will see the Lord.(Hebrews 12:14)

The inscription, “INRI”, placed above the cross of crucifixion is esoterically translated as “By fire humanity is renewed or made whole (holy)”.

Fire symbolizes frequency or vibration. So, once again, we are talking about a shift to a higher octave or dimension.

The Greek word for “heart” in Matthew 5:8 is kardeeah. This can be applied to the physical heart. But it also refers to the spiritual center of life. It is where thoughts, desires, sense of purpose, will, understanding, and character reside. So, to be pure in heart means to be true in who we actually are…and to have higher vibration thoughts.

Interestingly, purity of heart is tied to the development of the light body. As Jesus said:

“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. The eye is the lamp of the body. If your vision is clear, your whole body will be full of light.” (Matthew 6:22)

Our eyes are the entrance to our hearts and minds and, as such, they provide a doorway to our very souls.

3D is a term for our physical body and the material ‘world’ of duality and love and fear. It is characterized by physicality and a lag time between thought and action, as well as choosing love over fear.

The mystics of the past accessed an astral plane, a dimension less material or dense than our 3D world. This is the 4D realm. It is a realm where all things are possible and thoughts — good or bad — become instantly real. We enter this realm when we meditate or focus on the unity of all that is and when we dream.

In dreams we can do the impossible. We meet people from the past and the future. We fly. We perform miracles and do death-defying and terrifying things. Dreams can become so real they affect us in our 3D life (psychologically and physically).

Beyond the dream realm is a plane of unconditional light where all is love.

This is 5D and 6D. Called Sion in the Book of Hebrews, according to the teachings of Jesus, it is inhabited by “angels gathered in joyful assembly and just humans made perfect”.

This means these are humans who have completed the process of ascension and have attained their non-physical light bodies or bodies of celestial flesh. My work seeks to discover what they knew and how they ascended from 3D to 5D.

It is the identical teaching, with a change in language. I discussed this in my article “Born Again Into The Rainbow Resurrection Body“.

We are living in the midst of a technological change that will fundamentally alter the way humans live for generations to come.

A new version of humanity is emerging, or rather, converging with us.

One version of humanity will follow the organic ascension path of what some call the path of homo neuveau, homo cosmos, or homo luminous.

Others may choose the technological path of a next human called transhumans, H+ or H 2.0. We are the ones who will decide what comes next.

While there could be a convergence between technology and spirituality this would take careful leadership.

Presently, we are in the transitional 3.5-4D period as evidenced by the sudden appearance of new, ‘training wheel’ transhuman technologies aimed at transcending mortality and making us immortal by transforming our flesh and blood bodies into machines with replaceable parts.

With the convergence of artificial intelligence (AI), genetics, neuroscience, virtual reality technology, accelerated 5G wireless internet and the Internet of Things, we are entering an era when, like the 4D dream state, all things are possible.

We will see this technology take over every aspect of our lives within five years.

The elite call this the Fourth Industrial Revolution. It is characterized by the blurring of the lines between our biological bodies and our digital bodies.

With simulated or virtual reality technology we can travel into the past and into the future. We can fluidly alter our bodies. We can create any kind creature.

Through mind uploading we will be able to ‘live’ permanently in this fluid, dream-like simulated reality created by artificially intelligent quantum computers.

This is the technological version of ascension. Facebook “Spaces” is a primitive version of this. Users are creating cartoon versions of themselves, called “avatars”, to interact with other avatars online.

From time to time, developers promise, we may seek to leave this dream world and upload ourselves to a new physical body in the ‘real’ 3D world. The risk is that the ‘souls’ living in the fake world would not be fully aware or would forget that they are living in a simulation.

Some mischievous overlord — whether alien or artificial intelligence, let’s say — could trap them in this ‘pit’ or new ‘Garden of Eden’ forever. Oh, and there could be an infinite number of simulated universes. We may even be living in one already.

Clara Moskowitz, writing in Scientific American, puts it directly: “A popular argument for the simulation hypothesis came from University of Oxford philosopher Nick Bostrum in 2003, when he suggested that members of an advanced civilization with enormous computing power might decide to run simulations of their ancestors. They would probably have the ability to run many, many such simulations, to the point where the vast majority of minds would actually be artificial ones within such simulations, rather than the original ancestral minds. So simple statistics suggest it is much more likely that we are among the simulated minds.”

If living in a simulated reality does not appeal to you, then it is time to think about ascending (right?).

The goal of the soul is not to live on earth forever in an immortal transhuman body or in a simulated reality produced by a quantum black box…unless that is way to deliver the maximum amount of compassion.

The soul’s goal is to seek and share love in order to unify heaven and earth and to ascend. Millions of people who practice yoga, meditate and seek to amplify their healing abilities on are the path of perfection and ascension.

They, we, are the bridge-builders between the 3.5D world and the 4 and 5D worlds.

Seriously, the desire to ascend is an answer to an ancient call to transform our world, our planet, into a place of righteousness.

Yes. Choosing the ascending path, and following this process, is not limited to Jews, Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, Starseeds, Lightworkers or any other spiritual viewpoint.

It is a cosmic right, a spiritual imperative.

On some level, yes. It is a natural evolutionary process.

As I documented in my book, “The Watchers: Lost Secrets of Ascension, Resurrection and Perfection”, ascension is the core element of the oldest human stories.

A variety of texts and literature show human beings crossing the boundary.

In many of these works the transition from mortality to immortality is achieved through ascension.

Before this time ascension was not considered to be a personal choice.

Earlier texts make clear that ascension is God’s idea and God’s gift. God initiates it. God fulfills it.

But then, “Magi” began developing techniques whereby anyone can transform their body into light and make the journey home.

What I term “Ascension Simulation Texts” began to appear in Jewish mystical literature at this time. The Essene books of Enoch set the tone for an entire genre of ascension teachings.

The revolution began.

Yes. It is a rebellion against the material world or anything but the 5D world of unconditional love.

The concept of ascension originated as a rebellion against human flesh.

It is a mystical revolution in human evolution. Avatars like Buddha and Jesus have entered human affairs to lead us back to our light bodies.

Bodily ascensions are mentioned in the Bible and other traditional texts for Enoch, Mary, Elijah, Aseneth, Mary Magdalene and possibly Moses. And there are numerous stories of saints materializing after their death, similar to the widespread phenomenon known as the “light body.”

Brightness. Brilliance. Flesh to flame. Glorious cloak. Majestic robe.

All of these terms can be applied to the resurrection and ascension of Jesus, Enoch and others who have completed the ascension process.

Attaining these qualities is a very good place to begin for checking ‘yes’ next to the box reading “I have ascended”.

Early, original, Christianity was the fulfillment or capstone of an ascension plan or rebellion aimed at introducing a new kind of human being onto the earth.

Jesus embodied this teaching.

As I have uniquely documented in The Secret of Sion and in articles, the born-again ascension body of Jesus is the same as the Rainbow Light Body or Great Perfection of Tibetan Buddhism and the same as the resurrection body of Osiris, the Egyptian god of resurrection.

The only difference between the Great Perfection teaching and Christian teaching on the Christ body is that Christians believe one must be invited by God to receive this light garment.

Many Christians believe (only) the true followers of Jesus will be spontaneously transformed into their spiritual bodies that match the ascended body of Christ in the Rapture and translated from the Earth to be in Heaven with God.

They await a time when Jesus will return and will transform our ‘lowly’ earthly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body” (Philippians 3:20-21).

Some “new age” researchers are advocating the rapture, but are labeling it with different terminology. However, it is essentially the same thing.

Whether it is called “rapture” or any other term, it seems to me that there must be an intermediate step, or intermediary instruction, between our earthly bodies of flesh and our heavenly bodies of light or celestial flesh, otherwise there could be immense confusion.

Each soul has free will to ascend when it chooses. It may opt for a collective to ascend with, but it is not mandatory, nor may it be preferable. Again, ascension is based on personal spiritual work, not a ‘gift’.

Ascension is not a one time, one opportunity in 26,000 year occurrence, as some have proposed.

It is an ongoing, never-ending experience that the soul chooses.

Yes, but they will not do your ascension for you.

Perfection is a process that involves spiritual work.

Few ideas have played a more important role in the Ancient Near East than the notion of the Heavenly Tablets or Heavenly Book that is handed over at the ascension in an interview with a heavenly being. The prophets who received this book earned it by doing their homework and their heart-work.

Mahayana Buddhism is based on the belief that our world can never be perfected or made holy, therefore we must ascend or await re-birth in another plane, referred to as the “Pure Land”. Mahayana Buddhism also states that ascension can only be attain with assistance of a higher power, the Amitabha Buddha or Buddha of Infinite Light.

I mean, why should we bother to do anything at all to improve ourselves spiritually if the Sun will do it all for us (just as Christians believe that Christ, the Son, will ‘do’ our ascension for us)?

While this is hopeful thinking, it does not make spiritual sense to me. My basic point is that ascension is a personal choice, not a collective one. The individual on the path of ascension has the capability of affecting all of humanity.

Learn the big picture. We live in a galaxy composed of billions of stars with billions of planets beside them.

How many are inhabited in unknown, but the number would probably boggle the mind.

According to an international team of astronomers, our galaxy is one of at least 2 trillion galaxies in the known universe.

These numbers tell us not to sweat the small stuff. It’s all small stuff.

Keep your heart and mind focused on what matters.

Ascension is a shift in our orientation from head to head and heart, from the terrestrial or earthly to the cosmic.

It is a shift from a ‘dead’ or ‘inert’ earth to a living earth (Gaia) and a living or conscious cosmos.

It is a shift from self-centered to universe centered in which we realize that everything is interconnected.

This mindset extends to our flesh. We begin to identify with our ascended self.

How do we connect with our ascended self?

Truth, honesty, humility, justice, love. These are the hallmark character traits or virtues of the ascended ones. To be like them is to act like them.

The Fruit of the Holy Spirit is a biblical term that sums up nine attributes of a person or community living in accord with the Holy Spirit according to the Epistle to the Galatians: “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.”

In the Epic of Gilgamesh, the world’s second oldest story, Gilgamesh, a Sumerian king, is told by the goddess Inanna that he is 2/3 divine and 1/3 human.

If we wants to make it through the (star)gate of the gods he will have to clean up his act for if he tries to go through the gate 2/3 holy it will not be pretty.

Gilgamesh, like all of us, must become whole (holy) or complete first.

Divinity/holiness/wholeness is symbolized by a circle, which is 360 degrees.

2/3 of 360 is 240. We may think of 240 as the base ‘frequency’ or ‘vibration’ of all of humanity.

Our goal is the same as it was 4,000 years ago, that is, to raise our vibration from 240 to 360. We do this by changing the things we are doing from the lower ‘frequency’ of 240 to the higher frequencies of, say, 290, 300 or 310, for example.

When we are at these higher frequencies we will be doing different things mentally, physically, spiritually and emotionally than we are presently doing.

We need to figure out what those new things are…and begin doing them.

These actions bring about a perceptible energetic phenomenon, a shift in frequency.

Flow, trust, love, synchronicity, miracles, generosity, compassion and service.

These are the hallmarks of ascended beings. Focus on developing these abilities and ascension automatically follows.

Jesus showed us what was possible with ascension bodies during the 40 days between his resurrection and ascension to Sion. Jesus turned up (twelve different times after the resurrection. His followers claim not only to have seen him but also to have eaten with him, touched him, and received a cosmic essence, the Holy Spirit, from him while in his new
body.

Jesus could pass through a wall. He could manifest as if out of thin air, as he did during his appearance to or meeting with Paul on the way to Damascus (the Essene compound at Qumran) in which the resurrected Jesus spoke to Paul.

Jesus’ ‘next human’ abilities correspond to the yogic abilities or ‘perfect powers’ called the ashta-siddhi.

Siddhi can be translated as perfection or accomplishment. These eight powers are:

• Animan, the ability to make oneself infinitely small in an instant, even to the size of atoms;
• Mahiman, the power to grow infinitely large or become ‘giant’ at will; Laghiman, or levitation, defying the law of gravity;
• Prapti, the power to have anything anywhere;
• Prakamya, the ability to realize any dream
• Vashitva, total control over the elements;
• Ishitritva, the ability to create or destroy matter and absolute lordship over all of creation
• Kamavasayitva, instant materialization of wishes.

Other powers mentioned in the Eastern texts include mind reading, memories of past lives, clairvoyance, bi-location, materialization, weather control, ability to choose the womb to be born in before birth, transforming one material into another by the use of sun (plasma) rays and morphing into any desired form.

Buddhists teach the six perfections: generosity, morality, patience, making an heroic effort at self-realization/ascension, right meditation, right energy.

If we can consistently live this way we are ascending.
