Super Full Moon in Scorpio- Goodbye Is the Hardest Word to Say, Secrets Surface, The Intensity of Letting Go + True Colors Emerging

Today, May 7th, the moon, which rules our: emotions, gut instincts and intuition, becomes full at 17 degrees of Scorpio. Full Moons are always a highly emotional time and represent: endings, completions and manifestations. Considering this is a Super Full Moon, and the last one of 2020, this full moon will be even more intense and full on. Scorpio, the 8th zodiac sign, deals with: power, shared resources, depth, secrets, transformation and the underworld.

The Super full moon in Scorpio will bring up skeletons from the deepest and darkest parts of our soul. There is nothing light and airy about the sign of Scorpio. It is one of the reasons why the sign is so feared and at the same time, so admired. Hidden truths and hidden motives could make themselves painfully known with La Luna in the darkest sign of the zodiac.

This Super Full Moon in Scorpio will ask you to dive deep and mourn a lost part of your life. Whether this be: a person, a job, or former way of life, there is an element of grieving that is coming up. No other sign can plunge to the depths of a matter and no other sign can release and transform themselves, like a Scorpio. We are all being called to let go and let god. This process can feel very emotional and dark. Perhaps we thought we could just go through the process of transformation unscathed? These illusions are just what this full moon will bring up. Acceptance and allowing will conjure true freedom from the chains of the past.

The Super Full Moon in Scorpio, however, is making a beautiful, harmonious, trine (120 degree aspect) to Neptune in Pisces. Neptune deals with: spiritual pursuits, imagination, healing and transcendence. The Full Moon in Scorpio in harmony with Neptune in Pisces, will bring a healing balm of divine intervention. Spirit is close by with this aspect. As these traumas and secrets emerge, we will be able to deal with them and release them. This aspect between the Moon and Neptune will be a spiritual awakening and test of our faith and strength. Unusual and prolific encounters with the “other side” could happen at this time. We so desperately want to heal and transcend this pain and sorrow. The Super full moon in harmony with Neptune will allow for divine healing to emerge, perhaps from unlikely sources and places. We are being asked to trust ourselves and this process of transformation. It might not be easy but it will be life altering. Divine has the wheel; all we need to do is to surrender to the ride.

The Super Full Moon in Scorpio is here to teach us how to be ok with a part of ourselves and our lives “dying”. It isn’t in fact “dying” but transforming into something that is more authentic and true in nature. If you understand the cycle of life, than this process will be a lot easier to deal with in the long run. If you resist these “deaths” then this process will be grueling and unkind. The choice is yours. This full moon in Scorpio will not mess around; it means business. The Super Full Moon in Scorpio is here to: have you face your darkness with love and compassion, reveal true intentions and motives, and spark the process of the phoenix rising up from the ashes; transformed and reborn!

May 2020- The Known vs. The Unknown, Finding Your Center, Mystical Mutable Madness

Welcome to May 2020! We are almost half way through the year, how is that so? May 2020 promises to be another active month. A lot of this activity will be felt internally, as 3 planets( Venus, Jupiter and Saturn) all turn retrograde. Going within and: re-directing, reflecting, and revising our intentions and plans will be the themes for this gorgeous month.

We begin the month on May 5-6th, with the North and South Nodes, leaving the signs of Cancer and Capricorn and moving into the signs of Gemini and Sagittarius. The North and South Nodes are fated, elliptical points on the moon’s axis. The nodes shift signs every 18 months, propelling us to new collective: events, lessons and tests. The North node represents: where we are headed, destiny, fate and the unknown. The South node represents: where we have been, the past, what is familiar and known. As the North Node moves into the sign of Gemini, our focus be directed to: communication, local travel, curiosity, getting down to the details and learning. As the South Node moves into Sagittarius, there will be tests and major releases among: big minded thinking, international travel, secondary education and faith. Wherever Gemini and Sagittarius are located in your natal chart is where a lot of fated and karmic lessons will be activated for the next year and a half. The last time the North and South Nodes were in the signs of Gemini/Sagittarius was from October 2001- April 2003. You might want to look back to events from around that time, as you might see similar themes and situations re-occur.

On May 7th, we have the Full Moon in Scorpio at 18 degrees. Full Moons herald: completions, manifestations and endings. Scorpio, the 8th zodiac sign, deals with: death/rebirth, power, transformation and shared resources. The Full Moon in Scorpio will prompt an awakening of how we cultivate our power, and allow things to die in our lives, so new foundations can be born. This deep and watery full moon will ask that you release and allow for transformation to occur. Projects and plans that involve shared resources could be highlighted and the universe is asking us to get comfy with letting go and allowing divine to take the wheel. A hidden source of power will emerge that has previously never been seen. All we have to do is trust and a super power will be born from within.

The mid month is quite active with a flurry of planets moving retrograde. Retrograde planets are all about: re-doing, reflecting, re-vising and going within.

On May 12/13th, Venus, the planet of: love, beauty and pleasure, turns retrograde in the sign of Gemini, before moving direct on June 26th. Every 18 months, Venus turns retrograde and our shift moves to reflect the inner lessons within: love, self- worth, money and pleasure. Venus retrograde in Gemini will bring a heightened focus to how we communicate our love and affection to others and how willing we are to learn from these experiences. There is a light and breezy energy to the air sign of Gemini and lots of curious love situations could play out at this time. This is a great transit to go and learn a fun new skill or take up an old hobby that has long been forgotten. Also, like any retrograde experience, lovers and friends could return from the past, with little to no warning, lol.

On May 20th, the Sun, which rules our: ego, vitality and life force shifts from the earthy sign of Taurus, into the air sign of Gemini. We now move from more practical and rational thinking over to curiosity and flexible ways of being. Two days later on May 22nd, the moon, becomes new at 2 degrees of Gemini. New Moons herald: fresh starts, initiations and beginnings. Gemini, the 3rd zodiac sign, deals with: communication, learning, curiosity, play and child like wonder. The New Moon in Gemini will be a time where we can begin new exciting plans around business endeavors and educational pursuits. Our minds will be quite active and a renewed sense of wonder and intrigue will prevail. This is a great new moon to begin a project that requires a lot of attention to detail and a sense of play and malleability.

May 2020 is a month of many shifts and turns. As we all have become quite accustomed to life’s shifts and changes, this month, will ask us to remain grounded yet open. There is so much beauty to be discovered when we slow down and take it moment by moment. A lot of lessons and past events could re surface this month, so its best to take it one step at a time and remember to be extra gentle and understanding with yourself. May 2020 promises to bring: an inner awakening to our strength and power, reflections on who + what we truly love and the belief that even after the biggest storm comes the sun to greet us again.

The Sun Moves Into Taurus- Embracing Gaia’s Love, Unexpected Enlightenment, Sensual Vibes + Trusting Yourself

On April 19th, the Sun, which represents: our ego, vitality and life force, moves into the sign of Taurus. Taurus, the 2nd sign of the zodiac, is all about: earthy pleasures, practicality, values, tenacity and patience.

The Suns entry into Taurus will bring a concentrated effort to who and what we value in life. Since Taurus is ruled by the planet Venus, which represents: love, beauty and blessings, there is a renewed recognition of our inner earth god/goddess being called forth.

The Sun in Taurus will promote our ability to stay centered while also embracing our sensual and romantic sides. We are being encouraged to slow down and feel with all the 5 senses. Taurus likes to: touch, smell, taste, see and hear with an earthy awareness. Walking in the grass, while sipping a juice, smelling the sweet scent of flowers under a sunny sky are the vibes of Taurus. Enjoying the simplicity of life is encouraged, as is taking it one step at a time. This is always sound advice but even more so now with the crazy energies of our world.

The Sun in Taurus is asking you to find that solid inner strength and stand with love and gratitude for the miracle of life. Even more so in these times, we are being reminded to see the beauty within the simple moments. In fact, that’s all we have on this journey.

The Sun in Taurus will encourage us to embrace our strength and fortitude throughout any worry or concern. It’s time to drop down into your heart and soul. There’s always something to be grateful for and this season wants to remind you of your own divinity.

The Sun in Taurus is here to: create calmness within the current storm, bring you back to the beauty of nature and remind you of your worthiness and self love. Happy birthday to all the lovely Taurus folks!

Full Supermoon in Libra-The Craving for Inner Peace + Balance, Grace Under Pressure, Partnership Tests in a Time of Perplexity

On April 7/8th, we have the super full moon at 18 degrees of Libra. Full moons are always an emotional time, and herald: completions, manifestations and endings. Being that this is a super moon and therefore closer to Earth, these feelings will be even more magnified and full on. Libra, the 7th zodiac sign, deals with: justice, relationships, balance, peace and compromise.

The Libra Super full moon is here to bring a heightened awareness on how we honor our external relationships to others and our own relationship to our self. In these times apart from those we hold dear, there is an emphasis on how we have cultivated and fostered the integrity of such unions. A balance and peace wants to be expressed, albeit the current difficult circumstances we now face.

This Full Moon in Libra wants to create a sense of peace and longs for resolution. Compromise is very much a Libra theme and we are desperately looking for our own internal sense of center and equilibrium. Major completions around unions are possible at the time of this full moon. We are beginning to realize in our time of solitude who or what creates more peace in our lives and who or what counteracts it. Even though it might be hard to admit, we are also becoming more privy to our co-dependency on external validation. There is a chance with this Libra full moon to declare our own internal balance by honoring and acknowledging the union of our own feminine and masculine sides. Authentic peace comes from within, despite the craziness of our circumstances. It is the relationship to the self that we are re-learning how to cultivate at this time. This will allow our external relationships to awaken to a new level of depth and purpose.

The Libra Super Full Moon is here to bring up the extremes around compromise and unity with another. The beauty of this full moon is the true acknowledgement of our partnerships and how we must co-exist together in a whole new way. We are learning a new level of balance and cooperation in a time of unified separation. Despite the horrendous and difficult task of keeping our internal peace of mind, this full moon wants you to dig deep and find your inner center and balance. It is crucial for not only your own survival but the future survival of our planet. The Libra Super full moon is here to: bring an awakening of peace in times of trouble, establish cooperation in the most unlikely places and create a transformation of love within our darkest hour.

For this Super moon in Libra, I will be releasing the extended horoscopes on my Astromomma Patreon page: https://www.patreon.com/astromomma . These extended sign horoscopes are very powerful and offer useful and inspirational advice on how your sign will be impacted by the full moon.

I will be releasing these horoscopes later today and thanks for your support and patience. Patreon, a subscription based service of either $4 or $6 USD per month, gives you access to not only my extended horoscopes/articles but also a generous discount on my astrology and tarot readings. This support is always appreciated but even more so during this time. Stay well and I love you all!

Jupiter conjunct Pluto in Capricorn- The Extremity of Expansion, The Wisdom of Death + Re-Birth, The Power of Power

On April 4/5th, Jupiter, the planet of: expansion, wisdom and truth, comes to meet up with Pluto, the planet of: power, death/rebirth and regeneration, both in the sign of Capricorn. Capricorn, the 10th zodiac sign is known to represent: control, order, obligation, big business, the government and karma. This is the first of three meetups with these planets in 2020. They will meet up again on: June 30th and November 12th.

Jupiter conjunct Pluto is here to expand and exemplify power and transformation within our lives. Considering we are in such intense times, these two planetary powerhouses coming together bring extreme energies when combined. They are both ready to enlighten our sense of wisdom and transform our sense of control. Meeting up in the sign of Capricorn, suggests these extremes and responsibilities will be full on and taken to the next level.

These two come together in a conjunction every 13 years. The last time was in 2007, when both were in the sign of Sagittarius. Interestingly enough, the Spanish Influenza crisis of 1918, also saw this aspect of Jupiter and Pluto, both in the sign of Cancer. Jupiter in Capricorn wants to teach Pluto in Capricorn the ability to recognize truth and value within order and obligation. Pluto in Capricorn wants to teach Jupiter in Capricorn the art of death within a particular system and the rebirth of creating solid foundations. Together, their dance is one of intense epiphanies within how we use or give away our sense of power and control.

Jupiter conjunct Pluto in Capricorn is here to bring an extreme understanding of how structures and obligations work within our current lives. With things changing on the daily, our new normal is one of constantly shifting dynamics within order and stability. This aspect can feel like we are standing in quicksand. There is something that has to massively transformed. We will be forever shaken around our sense of stability and normalcy with this aspect.

Jupiter conjunct Pluto in the sign of the mountain goat wants there to be a complete shift within the dynamic of how we see power and order. This aspect is encouraging us to be willing to accept extremes and to be willing to let things go. True transformation is a messy process. Jupiter conjunct Pluto in Capricorn is here to: radicalize the order and structures to our lives, enhance and expand the need for power + control, and bring awareness + acceptance to the cycles of death and rebirth.

Since this aspect is happening on/off all of 2020, I decided to create extended sign horoscopes to empower you on my Astromomma Patreon page: www.patreon.com/astromomma

These extended sign horoscopes give you practical but inspirational guidance on how best to navigate this transit. These horoscopes are channeled from spirit and very powerful. Patreon, is a $4 or $6 USD per month subscription service, that gives you access to all my extended sign horoscopes and special articles. I am extremely grateful for your support on Patreon as it allows me to continue to create content here on FB.
