New Moon in Aries- Massive New Beginnings, You Are Stronger Then You Know, Healing the Wounded Self ~ March 25, 2020

On March 24th, the Moon, which rules: the soul, emotions, intuition and inner core, becomes new at 4 degrees of Aries. New Moons are all about: starts, initiations, and fresh beginnings. Aries, the 1st zodiac sign, represents: the pioneer, passion, fiery innocence, courage and entrepreneurship.

The New Moon in Aries is here to bring a new chapter of: hope, faith and the willpower to begin new chapters. Aries, being the 1st zodiac sign, is a rather youthful and innocent energy. While we are living in such unique and quite distressing times, the Aries new moon will be a call to action and stimulate our inventiveness and courage. This is an excellent new moon to begin projects and plans( even from home) that inspire and delight our willingness to move forward. Even though Aries as a sign tends to be youthful, it takes a tremendous amount of strength and tenacity to be the 1st zodiac sign. Birth, like death, is a messy process. The main aspect the New Moon in Aries is making is a conjunction to Chiron, the wounded healer, who is also in the sign of Aries. Chiron, the wounded healer, is an asteroid that sits between Saturn which represents the past, and Uranus, which represents the future. Chiron, always shows where our deepest wounds lie, but with awareness and willingness, he also shows where our greatest healing is held. Chiron conjunct the New Moon in Aries, will bring up the wound of “the self”. Through the time we are now spending apart, this wound is becoming more recognized and acknowledged. It is as though this aspect is awakening us to the fact that while self preservation is key, the ultimate success of our survival is when we work together. Chiron conjunct the New Moon will show where we have been selfish, perhaps unknowingly. The “me, me me” society has actually left us more disconnected from our inner truth and core then we realized. This aspect is here to alleviate the wounds surrounding self worth and self- neglect. There is a deep profound healing that wants to liberate our soul and reconnect us to our heart.

The Aries New Moon is here to conjure up the ability to begin again and find the strength and willpower to think outside the box. We are in such unique times that La Luna in Aries, wants to give you a leg up and remind you how strong and resilient you truly are! A fiery passion in the belly is emerging and its time to create a brand new life. This is most important, especially within the current times we are in. Survival depends on adaptability.

In a Time of the Unknown and Panic- How Astrology Offers Clues to the Future + The Real Dawn of the Age of Aquarius ~ March 14, 2020

Hey Astromomma fam! I have missed you all! I have wanted to write a piece on the astrological interpretation of the recent corona-virus for days now. I honestly couldn’t write a thing, and literally had writers block for days. Like most of you, I have been in a state of ” information overload”. We are in unprecedented times. Astrology has always been my go to in looking to the higher meaning to everyday affairs. This virus is no exception, so I decided to look to the future of the astrology to perhaps provide some clues and even comfort on what is to come. This is by no means a prediction guide, but hopefully can provide some insight.

When looking at the astrology of the recent months, we had one particular aspect that we have never had in our lifetimes. This would be the Saturn/Pluto conjunction in Capricorn, that occurred on January 12th. This aspect last happened over 500 years ago in 1518. Saturn in astrology, represents: restriction, boundaries, obligations and karma. Pluto in astrology, represents: transformation, power, hidden forces and regeneration. Capricorn, the 10th zodiac sign, represents: the government, big business, the patriarch, destiny and authority.

The Saturn/Pluto conjunction in Capricorn aspect catapulted our awareness of power and control. Or in the case of current times ,the lack of what we really have control with in our lives. This once in a lifetime aspect, which by the way, is still playing out, even though it was exact in January, brought up the limited way we have reacted to fear and “being in charge”. Capricorn likes to stick to the rules and follow protocol. Unfortunately, there is no protocol for a virus that has never been seen or made recognized till now. As we now know, restrictions on our everyday life are now common place. Isolation and quarantine have become the new norm. This is very much a Capricorn tactic of holding on to one last thread of order in a world of panic. Now I am not saying this is wrong or unjust, considering what we are dealing with, just making note of these very Capricorn like tactics.

The true enlightenment of the Saturn/Pluto in Capricorn aspect was realizing that we in fact are “out of control”. Everything is. The illusion that our job or the government could save us is something of the past. In the end, its our own connection to our internal power and source that will always remain. It is actually the surrender to this fact that allows new creative solutions to emerge. This is where we are headed. The real Aquarian age is upon us. Aquarius, is the sign of the people and invention. A true rebel who thrives in the unknowns. Let me explain why this is so critical, not only in our survival but for setting up future generations to come after we are gone.

The outer planets of: Saturn, Jupiter, and Pluto will continue to progress through Capricorn, each one will eventually enter the sign of Aquarius. The outer planets in astrology tend to show activity on a larger scale as they are stay in a sign for a longer time and impact us for months if not years. Saturn, the planet of: restriction, obligation and duty enters Aquarius on March 21st for a brief 3 month transit, before going retrograde, then re-entering Aquarius for good later in the year. Jupiter, the planet of luck, wisdom and expansion, enters Aquarius in December 2020, to stay till the end of 2021. Finally, good ol Pluto, the planet of: transformation, regeneration and power, enters Aquarius in 2024-2044( yes you read that right).

Aquarius, as previously described, is an air sign, that is known to be all about: people, invention, dreams, originality, progress and sweeping change. If there was a time for re-invention, or dealing with the craziness of life, Aquarius, would be the maverick in charge. In true Aquarius style, we are set to come together to unite in a way that has never occurred. Yes, Aquarius rules technology, so many of these “connections” will still continue electronically. The difference now is the awareness that even technology, within its finest, can’t really connect us. It literally took something “beyond our reasoning” to figure this out. That is where the true genius of invention is created. Expect breakthroughs of unprecedented kinds within technologies to help us combat this and similar types of pandemics in the future. With all the craziness of these times, from an astrological standpoint, we are so fortunate to be entering into the Aquarius age. True liberation from our old ways of being is upon us.

In closing, this is just a perspective and I hope it has settled your mind and heart a bit. No one has the answers. It is time to step into a new way of being and thinking as we are now dealing with circumstances and conditions that we have never seen. If anything (my humble opinion) this virus, has the potential to connect us like we have never been connected before. It has shown what truly matters and in many respects, the liberties we so take for granted. As mentioned, the Aquarius age we are now entering is all about realizing ” WE ARE ONE”. New Moon in Pisces – Spontaneous Healing, Unexpected Miracles, The Balance of Flow and Action ~ February 25, 2020

On February 23rd, the Moon, which rules: our intuition, feminine presence and emotions, becomes new at 4 degrees of Pisces. New Moons are always about: fresh starts, re-set buttons and initiations. Pisces, the 12th zodiac sign, represents: our subconscious mind, imagination, spiritual surrender and transcendence.

The New Moon in Pisces is here to initiate radical healing on many levels. There is a depth of intuitive guidance with La Luna a new in the deepest sign of the zodiac. We will be ready to begin projects and plans that call upon our more dreamy and imaginative sides. Digging deep into our subconscious patterning will be a common theme as well as healing past traumas. We are ready to create new brain wiring that deepens our connection to our intuition. This is an excellent new moon to begin a healing modality that may suddenly come about with little to no warning. Our dream states will also be quite active at this New Moon and will provide clues into what areas of our lives that this healing will be most profound. We will be little “psychic sponges”, so be extra protective of who and want you give your energy to at this time. Profound and enlightened downloads come to us with little to no effort. The veil is thin and we will be receiving constant communication from our angels and guides.

The New Moon in Pisces forms two positive, 60 degree, sextiles to her other planetary brothers. The first is with Mars, the planet of: passion, purpose and drive, currently in his “exalted” sign of Capricorn. The New Moon sextile Mars in Capricorn will increase our ability to be proactive within our emotions and projects. We will feel a steady inspiration and a call to action around these intuitive hits that we are receiving. The second aspect is with Uranus, the planet of: enlightenment, shocks and surprises, currently in his “fall” sign of Taurus. The New Moon sextile Uranus in Taurus will create sudden events connected to our resources and a burst of enlightenment around our emotions. We could feel very spontaneous but at the same time, this will be guided by a higher force that literally ” moves and shakes” up the status quo. Epiphanies around how we value ourselves and tend to our emotional health could be activated by this aspect. We are ready to embark on the ” unknown and untried” with a sensitivity of perception and perspective.

February 2020- Catching Our Breath, Inner Reflection + Long Lost Communications, Subconscious Healing

Welcome to February 2020! After a “full on” jam packed January, we are all looking to catch our breath and settle into a space of calmness. February 2020 offers more sweet aspects then challenging ones and I would say we have damn well earned it, lol! A gentle reprieve is upon us as we move on from one of the most intense planetary cycles in recent memory.

On February 1st, Venus, the planet of: love, $ and comfort, currently in the dreamy sign of Pisces, makes a positive, 60 degree sextile to Saturn, the planet of: karma, obligation and responsibility, currently in his home sign of Capricorn. Venus in Pisces in harmony with Saturn in Capricorn, will create a balanced exchange of sweetness and structure to our lives. Venus is exalted in Pisces, meaning she is super comfortable to swim within the fishes den. Saturn is at home in Capricorn, meaning he is super powerful and purposeful within the mountain goat’s realm. Together, a grounded, yet fluid presence will be felt and a balance will be established between the mundane and spiritual planes in our lives.

On February 8th, the Moon, which rules our: emotions, soul and intuition, becomes full at 20 degrees of Leo. Full Moons indicate: completions, manifestations and harvest. Leo, the 5th zodiac sign, represents: self- expression, creativity, joy and romance. The Full Moon in Leo will herald the ending of any dramas connected to our inner child wounding and need for attention. There is a fiery conclusion to our desires with La Luna full in the sign of the lion. Creative projects could bear fruit at this full moon and we will be in a mood to: play, enjoy life and rejoice in our accomplishments. The only warning with this Full Moon is to watch for any ego trips or inflated sense of identity. Leo energy can be very proud and we will need to watch the tendency to exaggerate or go overboard with the drama. This Full Moon in Leo is asking us to stand tall and strong but also to keep a humble and grateful attitude of gratitude.

Mid- month on February 16th, Mercury, the planet of: the mind, communication and contracts, turns retrograde at 12 degrees of Pisces until March 9th. Pisces, the 12th zodiac sign, deals with: the subconscious mind, imagination, spirituality and transcendence. Mercury retrograde in Pisces will bring back past memories and perhaps traumas to be healed and rectified. Being that Pisces rules the subconscious mind, a lot of this healing will come about during our sleep time. Deep psychological wounding could rear its head. The best advise with this Mercury retrograde would be to: surrender, allow and flow. Pisces energy is mutable and adaptable. Past lovers or past contracts could come back to be pursued. Be cautious when signing any contracts or important documents. A “brain fog” could be pervasive at this time, so remember to practice allowing and meditation to calm down and to ground your energies.

The Sun, which represents: the ego, life force and core, moves from the air sign of Aquarius, into the water sign of Pisces on February 20th. We are now ready to move from the intellect over to our feeling centers. A wave of unconditional love and acceptance is making itself known and felt. On February 23rd, we have the New Moon at 4 degrees of Pisces. New Moons herald: fresh starts, new beginnings and initiations. Pisces, the 12th zodiac sign, is known to be: intuitive, compassionate and altruistic. The New Moon in Pisces will be a catalyst for major healing and surrender to occur. February 2020 is a month of pause and a time to re-collect our bearings. The start of 2020 was so intense that we might still feel a bit out of sorts and ” lost in translation”. The New Moon in Aquarius is here to liberate our fears and encourage our: independence, originality and desire to move forward. Again, if there has been any suppression of emotions or unwillingness to face a situation, this could all come up to be seen at this New Moon. Uranus square the New Moon will bring unexpected change and a struggle for independence and true sovereignty.

Emotional outbursts and tantrums could be a result of this tense aspect. We will be on the edge of our seats and ready to move forward to an unknown space of possibility but at the same time, there will need to be a “clearing of the air” in some area of our lives. The truth could come up and out and it might be sudden and without much warning. Uranus doesn’t just shock for the hell of it. His mission is always to enlighten and encourage soul growth.
