After weeks of legal wrangling that included a threat to hold FBI Director Christopher Wray in contempt of Congress, the House Oversight Committee obtained a copy of the declassified FD-1023 that details allegations made by a confidential human source in Ukraine about a possible bribery scheme between an executive from Burisma Holdings and then-Vice President Biden, the Washington Examiner reported.
According to Oversight Committee Chair James Comer, the confidential human source cited in the FD-1023 is a “highly credible” and “trusted” paid FBI informant.
Republicans who spoke to reporters after reviewing the FD-1023 confirmed that the document details allegations made by the source that Burisma, the Ukrainian gas company that placed Hunter Biden on its board, offered to pay $5 million each to Hunter and then-Vice President Joe Biden in exchange for Biden putting pressure on the Ukraine government to fire Viktor Shokin, the government prosecutor who was investigating Burisma.
According to the Republican committee members, the $5 million payments were first routed through multiple bank accounts before the Bidens received them.
North Dakota Republican Rep. Kelly Armstrong told the Washington Examiner that the document made it “abundantly clear” that the only reason Hunter Biden was put on the Burisma board was because of his father.
Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) told reporters that Burisma was under pressure from Viktor Shokin, and the payments made to the Biden family were linked to shutting down the investigation by getting Shokin removed.
Speaking to reporters after reviewing the FD-1023, Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene said the allegations implicate President Biden in a bribery scheme “to get Shokin fired” to end the investigation into Burisma.
Iowa Republican Senator Chuck Grassley, who along with Chairman Comer had initially subpoenaed the FBI for the document, revealed in a speech on the Senate floor that the informant claimed that the Burisma executive kept audio recordings of his phone conversations with the Bidens.
According to Grassley, the FD-1023 includes a redacted reference to the recordings of 15 phone conversations between the Burisma executive and Hunter Biden and 2 phone conversations with then-Vice President Biden that the executive kept “as a sort of insurance policy.”

There are a few “details” the Republicans (and you) “somehow overlooked”, these include:
1) The “confidential source” was merely reporting what someone else claimed!
2) What was reported (the claim about Biden) was unverified!
In other words, that “confidential source” wasn’t making the “allegations”. He was merely “reporting” what an unidentified person told him. Not only is that Hearsay, but it’s about as “credible” as gossip! (Something this website regularly traffics in.)
Let’s find out who allegedly told that “confidential source” this accusation, then get that ultimate source to testify, and produce evidence to back up what was said.
Don’t forget, that same ultimate source also claimed to have recordings of conversations proving his claim; recordings that don’t seem to exist! 🤣

P.S. – In case the point is “too subtle” for you, just as the various Indictments against Lying Trump aren’t proof of guilt, so too unverified accusations from an undisclosed ultimate source don’t prove a thing!

Yes, indeed…we are involved a war of words. Life on Earth has become divorced from “reality”, with values being set by controllers. Deception in life is inherent in every facet of our lives. I cannot, and will not argue inane details which, in reality, are nonsensical. I am happy to respond to “real” comments regarding our current “reality”.
I like you, and your attention to detail which has been necessary and lauded in our past world.
We are ALL now moving into a new moment which relies more on the skills of how to help others, not decimate them.
