Monday,
February 18 to Tuesday, February 19, 2019 marks the Sun’s shift from
Aquarius to Pisces, followed by a Full Supermoon in Virgo. Pisces (ruled
by boundless, graceful Neptune) and Virgo (the detail oriented,
Mercurial healer of the zodiac) together bring opportunities for
spiritual healing of ourselves, each other and our planet. Think Water
and Earth, Cups and Pentacles, Emotional/Intuitive realm and the
Body/Physical realm. Aim to integrate practicality (Virgo) and emotions
(Pisces).
Go with the flow, especially if the flow leads to a sudden urge to dot your i’s and cross your t’s.
Tuesday’s
Full Moon is the fourth in a series of five supermoon’s in a row. Even
though we’ve finished the recent eclipse trio, this ongoing supermoon
series intensifies the usual emotional wallop of a Full Moon. This
month’s zero degree Virgo adds extra oomph for emotional resets and
healing –provided you integrate the polarities.
Through
the negative lens, nitpicky Virgo seems like a stick in the mud
compared to Pisces’ watery idealism. It might feel like “first the
ecstasy, then the laundry,” but this tension can bring positive results.
Think of the monastic life, rooted in physical labor and baking bread.
If you seek the spiritual in mundane details, you’ll find many miracles.
Nebulous prayers reveal their answers in lived experience. If you’ve
felt confused or adrift, this Virgo Supermoon could bring sudden clarity
about your next logical step.
[UPDATE:
in typical Pisces/Virgo tension, this original inspired article got
slightly hazy on the details. Chiron is not an asteroid but a centaur —
really not sure why I typed that or failed to catch it before posting.
The Sun/Supermoon discussion covers two days, February 18-19th, 2019,
although the effects will last longer. I originally focused on Tuesday,
since that’s when the Moon enters Virgo. I’m including this update for
clarity, but also as an illustration of that sweeping sense of harmony
that can trip over details. That doesn’t negate your inspiration or
sense of cosmic beauty. Be gentle with yourself, and remind critical
Virgo of its trickster ruler.]
Chiron from Pisces to Aries
For
clues on what’s up for healing, look back to April 17-18, 2018, when
Chiron last shifted from 29th degree Pisces to 0 degrees Aries. Yes,
coinciding with this Virgo Supermoon and the Sun’s shift to Pisces,
Wounded Healer Chiron returns to Aries this Tuesday. Chiron spent April
2010-April 2018 in Pisces, giving an eight year stretch of spiritual
healing influence. This centaur galloped into Aries from April 18th
until September 27th, 2018 when it retrograded to Pisces again.
Chiron
represents our deepest wounds and how in healing these wounds we help
others heal. Since healing rarely occurs in a linear fashion, it helps
to observe cycles and similar aspects:
What themes or situations called for healing from April 2010-2018?
What did you learn, and what core wounds were influenced by doubt and faith during this period?
What healing crisis or need to care for yourself first (Aries) burst onto the scene in April 2018?
What relief or insights did you receive in late September 2018?
What spiritual wounds or questions arose again?
Where are you now?
How have you grown?
As
Chiron moves from 29th degree Pisces into 0 degrees Aries, what actions
will you take to support your own healing? What parts of you need
healing before you can forge ahead? The combo of Pisces Sun, Virgo
Supermoon, and this Chiron shift provides insight and energy to support
deep healing and release. Will you allow yourself to receive the
blessings? These are collective energies. How they affect you as an
individual depends on your own willingness to embrace the energies,
along with aspects to your natal chart. For more insights, look for
signs in the 29th or 0 degree range, or we can explore your chart and
transits together in a session.
Blessings and healing to you and yours!

We are having a Full Moon in Virgo on
February 19th at 3:53pm Universal Time. This is the peak of the Lunar
Cycle that began on February 4th with a New Moon in Aquarius. It will
also be a Supermoon, which is when the Moon appears larger and brighter
due to its closer proximity to the Earth. For those in North and South
America, it appears the brightest on the night of the 18th.

A Full Moon is when we feel a push-pull
between the two opposite signs where the Sun and Moon are located, in
this case being Pisces and Virgo. It gradually builds up and becomes
more noticeable on the day of and days surrounding it. It is also part
of the backdrop of the other astrological energies over the following 2
weeks.
Pisces season begins less than a day
before this Full Moon occurs. It is associated with sensitivity,
compassion, empathy, spirituality, creativity, inspiration, dreams,
imagination, oneness, and idealism. Negatively, this sign can also be
unrealistic, flaky, elusive, delusional, deceptive, and is associated
with escapism and intoxication.
The
Moon brings in the sign of Virgo into the equation which can either be
at odds with Pisces energies or could work harmoniously with them in
some sort of balance. Virgo is associated with duty, service,
productivity, practicality, organizing, analyzing, perfection,
cleanliness, and purity. It is systematic, detailed, discerning, and
good at problem solving. Negatively, Virgo can be cynical, overly
critical, fussy, high strung, and too much in the the head.
Both signs are associated with health,
wellness, and healing, with Virgo being more about physical health and
physical modalities, while Pisces is more about spiritual/emotional
health and modalities. They are adaptable signs and are both about
helping others.
Full Moon Trine Mars and Uranus
This Full Moon is in a trine with Mars
and Uranus which are separating from a conjunction with each other. Mars
just recently entered Taurus on February 14th. Uranus is making its
final transition from Aries to Taurus which will happen on March 6th,
hours before the next New Moon.

The Mars-Uranus influence could signify a
period of doing certain things differently or acting on new
experiences. It could be about applying ourselves in a way that is more
liberating, exciting, innovative, unconventional, experimental, or
breaking from limitations. Considering that Uranus is changing signs,
over the next few weeks there can also be some surprises, significant
shifts, and sudden changes which can either be harmonious and supportive
or disruptive and challenging.
The Sun will also be traveling while in a close aspect with Mars until early March, but will be strongest from February 27th-28th. With Mars in Taurus, this is a time of asserting ourselves in a way that is methodical, practical, and even sensual in some cases.
Sun and Moon Aligned With Prominent Stars
This Full Moon will be in a tight
alignment with the star Regulus which is known as the ‘heart of the
lion.’ This star is in the constellation of Leo but moved into the
tropical sign of Virgo in 2012 and still on the cusp of those signs. It
is about courage, leadership, and prominence. It is daring, proud, and
can also be big hearted.
The Sun is aligned with the star
Fomalhaut which is in both the constellation and sign of Pisces This
star amplifies the qualities of its sign and has magical, artistic, and
otherworldly qualities.
The ‘Great American Eclipse’ that
occurred in August 2017 and the following Solar Eclipse in February 2018
were near the same spots of where the Sun and Moon are during this Full
Moon, yet in different signs. It is possible that you may see some
areas of your life get triggered over the next few weeks similarly to
areas of your life that were affected over a year long period from mid
2017 until mid 2018. However, it will still be different and those
eclipses had more significance overall.
Mercury In Pisces Conjunct Neptune, Sextile Venus/Saturn/Pluto, Square Jupiter and Going Retrograde In Two Weeks
Mercury begins its pre-retrograde shadow
period hours before the peak of this Full Moon. Over the next few weeks,
much of what plays out or develops will go through a sorting out and
adjustment period throughout March until early April. I will be writing a
separate article on it, you can join my mailing list here to ensure that you receive my content.
Virgo’s
ruler Mercury is in the opposing sign of Pisces which is where the Sun
is. It is also aligned with Neptune, a modern ruler of Pisces, which
makes it even more Piscean. Mercury doesn’t perform the way it wants to
when in this sign. It lessens the analytical, intellectual, and rational
qualities of this planet. Instead it perceives things in a more
abstract, symbolic, sensory, or intuitive way.
All the Neptune/Pisces energy can make us
more dreamy, less in touch with reality, forgetful, and inhibit mental
focus. Communications and thoughts can be less direct, confusing, and
misunderstood. However it can also be divinely inspired, psychic,
compassionate, fantasy based, or directed by emotional energy.
Mercury and Neptune are also in a sextile
with Saturn, Venus, and Pluto. Usually Mercury in aspect with Saturn
can be good for practical thinking and focus, however, the Neptune
influence mentioned is a lot stronger here. If anything this aspect with
Saturn can good for constructive effort towards ideals, visions,
creativity, selfless acts, or anything to do with spirituality.
Many people can also experience increased
social interactions or romantic developments that can have some
significance. However, considering that the South Node and an upcoming
retrograde is in the mix, some of of this could have to do with the past
or perhaps old behaviours and aspirations being triggered.
Mercury is moving towards a square with
Jupiter which is the traditional ruler of Pisces. We can be overly broad
minded, idealistic, or even judgemental. We can overlook details
easily, over-exaggerate, and overextend ourselves. However, this can
also be good for learning and expanding our minds. This energy will be
strongest on February 22nd in the West, and the 23rd in the East.
Chiron Returns To Aries, Will Be There Until 2027
Chiron has just re-entered Aries where it
will be until April 2027. We already got a taste of this energy last
year from April to September before it retrograded back into Pisces.
This Full Moon is in a quincunx with Chiron, and therefore it is
possible that some of the issues below might come up during this period.
Chiron is the ‘wounded healer’, it
reflects our wounds, blocks, traumas, and negative patterns. However, it
is also the key unlocking our untapped or suppressed potential. Through
our own healing and self-awareness, we become more whole and more of
who we truly are. This is what Chiron is about, it is both the roadblock
and the bridge.
Collectively, Chiron is going to trigger
Aries themes for the next 8 years. However, like all other astrological
influences, much of how it plays out for depends on how it is
interacting with your personal birth chart based on the exact time you
were born.
Aries is about self-identity,
independence, leadership, initiation, and assertiveness. It can be
direct, competitive, combative, hot tempered, impulsive, and forceful.
Our wounds and challenges connected to these things could come to help
us grow, become more aware, and make positive changes. We will see more
of this unfold during certain periods over the upcoming years.
This Chiron in Aries period will be the
most significant for those born between February 1969 and May 1976, as
well as for those born between early April and mid-October of 1968. For
these groups it will bring up deeper core wounds to help facilitate the
potential for healing, awareness, and empowerment. It can help to
develop a constructive relationship with aspects of oneself that have
either been destructive, limiting, distorted, or inhibiting.
Full Moon is Monday, November 14 at 6:52 AM Mountain Standard Time (MST).
This is a good moon to anchor and ground a new vision. It may even be something that has percolated just under the surface of your conscious mind, and now suddenly you have some clarity about it. This is an expansive, inspired time where you actually may be able to see how something you thought improbable is suddenly very possible. Problems that were lurking finally have solutions to them. This will inspire you, uplift you and bring some positivity to your day. If you have had something wonderful happen recently, make sure you take the time to honor it, celebrate it, and receive it with joy and gratitude.
We have the blessing of a feminine, Venus-ruled sign coming into its fullness. Being the power sign of the Earth element makes it full of physical strength and patience, and gives a realistic, grounded point of view. Taurus is the sign of our self-worth. From the eyes of Spirit, you are so valuable, so precious, and you are in a body learning to manifest the Divine into the physical plane. Through Taurus, the most physical of signs, you are given physical senses, -you know, sight, hearing, taste, smell, touch, movement, and beyond, and through our thoughts and senses we bring our dreams, visions, agreements, lessons and whatever we put our attention on into manifestation in the physical world. Have a look around you. What are you creating in your life? What are you putting your powerful gift of creativity into manifesting around you? – In your environment, your relationships, your material abundance?
What Taurus loves is (think sensual here) good company, palate-pleasing food, wine, music, beauty, comfort, pleasure ~ the enjoyment of abundance. Taurus, along with the second house and Venus, rules your finances, spending/earning, money, resources, and what you value (appreciate), along with your self-worth. Taurus is solidly connected to nature and all her gifts. Taurus brings the qualities of industriousness, reliability and integrity along with common sense, kind-heartedness, a love of peaceful domesticity and notable artistry to wherever it sits in your chart. Taurus rules some area of our life even among the flightiest of us, and that is the area that will be highlighted at this Full Moon. Taurus, The Bull, rules the neck, the throat, voice, thyroid, parathyroid, the tongue. They’re prone to sore throats, stiff necks, hormone imbalance, and weight issues. And stubbornness!
This November Full Moon will be exceptionally bright as it is the brightest SuperMoon since 1948 and will not be this bright again until 2034. So bright, because it’s closest to the Earth (perigee) exerting extra gravitational pull for several nights on the tides, our bodies and emotional bodies as well.
Let’s look to some bigger cycles here. Jupiter entered Libra in early September and is aligning to make the first of three exact squares to PLUTO on November 24. This arc will cover most of 2017 with exact squares on March 30 and August 4, 2017. (Don’t exhale yet…) Jupiter will also oppose URANUS in Aries also 3 times on December 26, March 2 and September 27, 2017. This creates a T-square configuration lasting until next fall. TENSE! Jupiter holds a larger social-political focus and greatly enflames and enhances whatever it touches bringing understanding, optimism, ethical considerations and a broadening global vision (but also exaggeration and excessiveness). Luckily, Jupiter is in Libra putting the focus on balance, compromise and relationship. But when you get anywhere near Pluto or Uranus you are in for some major inner transformative results (Pluto) and some explosive, revolutionary outer shifts (Uranus). This is not new energy for us as we all experienced the dynamics of 2012-2015 as Pluto-Uranus made their exact squares, but now a major player (Jupiter/Zeus/the King) will be triggering those forces of change and transformation. Jupiter is the gift giver, the beneficial one, the bringer of prosperity. Jupiter rules growth, expansion and faith, hope, and optimism, so in many respects we are entering a period of learning to have faith that we are expanding in the right direction and creating the vision for ourselves and our society that we want to see manifest. There is always backlash to deep fundamental change. The ego’s function of protection and survival is threatened. We feel discomfort, challenged, confronted. These are growing pains. Jupiter rules the liver, so let this be a period of cleansing, not overindulgence. May the ‘jovial’ side of Jupiter help you hold optimism and a sense of humor for the excessive drama all around us.
Saturn/Pluto USA chart
Saturn has been in Sagittarius since the election season of the USA began in fall 2015. Many of our lessons have come through that lens. Sag brings up issues of moral and ethical behavior and ideals. What is the truth? Issues of legality surface and are scrutinized. The political parties are rethinking what they stand for. In the chart of the birth of the USA July 4, 1776, we now find Saturn crossing over the US Sagittarius rising sign for the last two months and transiting Pluto opposing the nation’s natal Sun, Cancer 13º. Big lessons about who we are, what we stand for and a transformative time in our identity. Some deep soul searching, trolling of our shadow as a nation and huge power struggles are taking place. One can’t emphasize enough how important it is to hold the vision or shoot the arrow of the Sagittarian archer’s bow in the direction you want it to lead us.
Neptune/South Node/Psyche
Slow-moving Neptune’s Piscean energy is so strong now as it joins the South Node just days after Full Moon. It is readying to move direct after five months of retrograde and is powerful, intensified and nearly at standstill (9º). Letting go of deep sorrow, blame and victimhood buried deep within the unconscious parts of ourselves is our true work. Forgiveness, compassion, service have always been Neptune/Pisces’ most powerful tools. Our reward is greater access to our creativity, imagination and profound intuitive abilities. Clearing those vestiges from the past allows the opening of channels leading directly to the spiritual realms where you begin to work in tandem with all the help of Spirit. Do not underestimate the negative pole of Neptune: illusion, denial, escapism, and deceit. They will try to block you from your true relationship to Spirit and your own essence. Neptune conjunct South Node is a rare and powerful occurrence! Also a mandate! Asteroid Psyche also sits exactly at this 9º Pisces point bringing in the element of testing to burnish the soul so it can be worthy of the unity of love. It’s the elevating of the mortal to the immortal of the feminine soul in all of us. The dance of the masculine and feminine continues as the feminine awakens and evolves in the spiral of life.
All times are in Mountain Standard Time (MST)
11/21 Sun enters Sagittarius 2:22 PM MST
11/29 Sagittarius New Moon 7º 5:19 AM MST
12/13 Gemini Full Moon 22º 5:06 PM MST
12/19 Mercury retrograde 15º Capricorn until 1/8/17

The Full Supermoon on November 14, 2016 will be an extraordinary sight! A rare, once-in-a-lifetime Sky Event.
This Supermoon will have a dramatic effect on the tides and, for many people, November’s Full Moon will be the largest and brightest Full Moon of a lifetime.
The supermoon (perigee full moon) on November 14, 2016, will bring the moon closer to Earth than it has been since January 26, 1948.
What’s more, the moon won’t come this close to Earth again until November 25, 2034. That makes the November 2016 full moon the closest and largest supermoon in a period of 86 years!
The moon will turn full at 8:52 a.m. EST (1352 GMT), just 2.4 hours after it comes within just 221,541 miles (356,536 km) of the planet. (The moon’s average distance from Earth in its elliptical orbit is 238,900 miles, or 384,470 km.)
Expect a large range in ocean tides (exceptionally low to exceptionally high) for the next few days.
Major Earthquakes May Be Triggered By The Moon Say Japanese Researchers.
A new study has argued that major earthquakes, such as those that devastated Indonesian in 2004, Chile in 2010 and Japan in 2011, are more likely to occur during full and new moons – the two occasions during each month when tidal stresses are highest.
Researchers found “that there is strong correlation between tidal stress fluctuation and earthquake occurrence in several regions close to the epicenter of the Tohoku earthquake”.
The study, published in the journal ‘Nature Geoscience’ and conducted by a team from the University of Tokyo, argues that the same gravitational influence that the moon has on the oceans may also trigger earthquakes along Earth’s most fragile fault lines.
The research team calculated the levels of ‘tidal stress’ before major earthquakes of the last few decades and found that high levels of stress were often followed by major quakes.

September and October 2015: Total Eclipse of the Heart
by Agent 98 Lorna Bevan
“Drop your maps and listen to your lostness like a sacred calling into presence. Here, where the old ways are crumbling and you may be tempted to burn down your own house. Ask instead for an introduction to that which endures. This place without a foothold is the province of grace. It is the questing field, most responsive to magic and fluent in myth. Here, where there is nothing left to lose, sing out of necessity that your ragged heart be heard. Send out your holy signal and listen for the echo back.” Toko-Pa
Astrologically, physically and psychically, September and October are all about mastering the art of edge walking. Starting at the Pisces Full Moon of August 28 and culminating at the Taurus Full Moon of October 27th, a rare triad of Super Moons and two eclipses will sweep you through three Star Gates to the Event Horizon of September 28 and beyond. The giant wave of energy downloads encoded with meta keys will recalibrate you etherically and physically.
Star Gate 1 Sphinx Cusp Leo/Virgo Star Gate 2 Collective Soul Cusp Virgo/Libra Star Gate 3 Karmic Cusp Libra/Scorpio
Star Gate 1 Super Full Moon 29 August Pisces/Virgo Solar eclipse Virgo September 13
Star Gate 2 Super Moon Lunar eclipse September 28 Libra/Aries- The Event Horizon Star Gate 3 Super Full Moon October 27 Taurus/Scorpio
The Way that is not the Way will first take you as a pilgrim through the Virgo/Pisces territory of Zen, crossing the Super Galactic Centre( at 2 degrees Libra encountering the North Node of Fate and Makemake(dwarf planet), then along the Via Combusta(The area of zodiac between 15 Libra and 15 Scorpio, especially detrimental to the Moon) into the karmic waters and 9 tests of Scorpio. Consciously or unwittingly, you have been focusing on your metamorphosis, from the June solstice to the September Equinox, pivoting from transformation to emergence, immersed in both energies in the same moment. From the September Equinox to the December Solstice you will fully anchor yourself in the applied mastery phase, structuring your physical life to match your divine truth. Know that your heart is being occulted three times – firstly by the powerful 40 day and night Venus retrograde ending on September 6 ,next by two eclipses – so that your head-heart crown centre, the primary high heart centre and the solar plexus heart centre are purified, activated and blended to work in harmony with the soul.
To experience four Super Moons in a row – two of them eclipses -announces that something important this way comes. As Super Moons are at the same time at perigee, nearest to the Earth and syzygy, in line with the Earth and the Sun, means that an historic two month long seismic window is opening. Expect very strong seismic, gravitational and electromagnetic pulls to affect both the planet and your etheric body and nervous system.
The Leo/Virgo Sphinx Cusp Activation Ray 2 Love/Wisdom
When Jupiter the Hierophant entered Virgo on August 12, the Sphinx Cusp was activated by Transpluto-Isis, Regulus and Orcus – Guardian of the soul’s vows and promises. This is Jupiter as Magi with Mother Mary as World Servers. One after another, Mercury, Jupiter, the Sun, Mars and Venus will enter the gate of the sacred feminine aligning with Neptune, in a great cosmic inbreath. At the Pisces Super Moon on August 29 at 6 degrees Virgo a conjunction of Sun, Jupiter and Orcus opposes Moon /Neptune in Pisces square Saturn. In early October the North Node of Fate crossing 0 Libra on the World Axis ushers in 5 wild card eclipses across Virgo/Pisces through to 2017. At the same time, Venus as a newly created Warrior Princess Morning Star enters the sign of the dispossessed Mother, bringing back the gold from her soul excavation in the retrograde underworld. In Virgo/Pisces territory you encounter and embody the Sacred Feminine, through the alchemy of Water and Earth- Mater and Matter. This is the art of seeing that everything is related to everything else in a unified field of consciousness.
“Many things bring creative life, healing, ideas, innovations, inventions, and solutions, to real down-to-earth issues and challenges. And these actually come out of the dark, from out of nowhere, seemingly, they come from over your shoulder. They come from just out of the corner of your eye. They come from the unconscious; they come from the part of the psyche that stores not just quirks and oddities and forgotten shreds of memory and so forth, but also stores of great gifts… insight, intuition, knowledge, that some people would call uncanny only because it doesn’t appear to come from the forefront of the mind. “ Clarissa Pinkola Estes.
The Virgo/Libra Collective Soul Cusp Activation Ray 3 Active Intelligence
A Collective Fate point is activated first on September 3 when Black Moon Lilith conjuncts the North Node then again at the Blood Moon Lunar eclipse of September 28 when the Sun conjuncts Mercury, the North Node of Fate and Makemake exactly on M87,the Super Galactic Centre, all square Pluto. This is being described as the 2015 Event Horizon when a powerful wave of gamma light from the Galactic Core will impact the Earth.
The Cardinal Cross has been the driving force behind the turbulent times of the past 7 years, so we now begin a whole new phase of this story. Because of the extraordinary recent events connected with activity on the Cardinal Cross, it almost seems as if all the energy of the historical process is being shifted onto this Cross at our current phase in the story of humanity — perhaps as part of a world initiation. Watch for new information when Mercury retrogrades back to exactly 0 Libra on October 10. The Libra/Scorpio Karmic Cusp Activation Ray 4 Harmony Through Conflict
The 3rd of 3 Super Full Moons falls across the Taurus/Scorpio axis on October 27. Since October 2012, when Saturn entered Scorpio through to September 17 2015 when the Black Sun left for Sagittarius, through the plutonic Taurus/Scorpio eclipses of 2013/14, you have faced karmic feedback loops over and over. You have been crucified then resurrected. When you arrive at this cusp, you will recognise the way stations and welcome back “old friends from far away”, your fellow travellers and guides across time. “There are no right answers. But there is a right question. It’s the one that rubs up against your self-righteousness, resistance, and fears…. When you ask yourself, “Why not?” you may find yourself in motion, across a vivid and unpredictable landscape, over impossible mountains and beyond the water’s edge, where you surprise yourself, once and for all, by getting wet.” Karen Maezen Miller Momma Zen
