Editor’s Note: Oh, yes…Mercury in Scorpio is when that which is dark within you must be owned! Once your dark is owned, only then can you own your own light. But really…what does this mean?

Once you dive deep within yourself, you will come into contact with the deep personal traits you do not like. Me? I used to be into “control” as in I always felt my way was the best. Your way was ok, but my way was better. Your dark issues are out there, it’s time to “own” these.

As you contemplate your dark side, breath deeply and simply “let go” of your dark issues.When I say “let go”, I mean release your control, or fear, or greed, or whatever in to the Universe with the conscious realization of that dark trait being…gone! If you wonder if this will work, or doubt…it will not. That is a sign of how deep into yourself you must go.

Don’t worry, when you are honest enough with yourself, or desperate enough…then the time is right to let your dark “go”. In the meantime, be easy and happy with yourself, this release will indeed come when you are ready. Until then, laugh and BE…

On October 3rd, Mercury, the planet of: the mind, communication and contracts moves from the airy sign of Libra into the watery sign of Scorpio. Scorpio, the 8th sign of the zodiac is: powerful, trans formative, all knowing, deep, mysterious, and dark. Conversations that are meaningful and of substance rule the 8th house domain. Any superficial BS will be brought forth; so consider your motives before you open up and reveal your plans.

Mercury’s inconjunct, before it plunges into Scorpio this evening, suggests an awkward conversation or observation. The social facade will be disrupted  – attempts to gloss over Chiron’s pain, embarrassment or discomfort will miss the point. This is not something you should avoid.

Mercury in Libra does demand some social finesse; you can still be gracious. But there’s no use pretending that everything’s ok, because your attention has just been drawn to a repeat (Rx) wound.

And how fortuitous that Mercury will be entering the sign of darkness and profound honesty after this aspect. This does suggest that Chiron’s wound is only the tip of the iceberg. As you move forward you’ll see and hear much more. Use this moment to recognize what’s wrong, then be prepared to go deeper (investigate or do some intense inner work).
