Venus/Mars

Venus and Mars square each other in the last degrees of their respective signs. This suggests relationship, financial or self-esteem issues are about to turn a corner. There’s a crisis between action and attraction – you may push too hard for what you want, or someone may pressure you.

Venus in Libra is light, flirtatious and graceful. Mars in Capricorn is serious and ambitious – maybe too serious for Venus. There’s motivation to get what’s desired (this can indicate some hot but discordant chemistry) but the balance (Libra) will be off. Success may or may not happen. 

Mars is close to the degree where it stationed direct on August 27th (28 deg). So we have the added momentum of another try – you have been over this territory before (Mars Rx activated 29 deg Capricorn on August 12th). Previous delays or reviews may have increased the intensity of your motivation: this is your final shot. 

The situation is about to progress as Venus enters Scorpio tomorrow (September 9th) and Mars enters Aquarius the day after. This could be the final, tense moment before an achievement or ending. If you’re striving for something or someone, know that you cannot control the other person or every detail of the outcome. You want to be the boss here, but the more you exercise your authority, the more unbalanced the situation will become. Give it your best but be wary of rigid insistence on having it all your way.  

If you’re the one being pressured, remember that you can always say “No.”

Uranus/Pallas

Detailed patterns are given a hint of innovation. Uranus in Taurus’ ongoing changes to a habit or resource can invigorate practical strategies. Watch for a new twist on a solution or routine. Don’t be afraid to add a couple of extra details to an existing pattern – you could open up a whole new design. 

These influences combine stability with change in a very manageable way.

The New Moon in Virgo occurs on September 9th in 17 degrees Virgo. The Sun and Mercury will also be in Virgo so there is an emphasis on the essence of purity. Virgo is pure in all forms. Pure of heart, pure of spirit, and pure of body. Virgo truly represents the divine essence within us all; Christ consciousness. They are precise, whole beings who love to be in service to others. The flip side to Virgo can be if they become caught in the lower aspects like criticism, judgment, and over analyzation. 

This Moon will be trining Pluto retrograde in Capricorn, helping to anchor in our pure essence into our physical manifestation. Pluto is a powerful planet that will be assisting us in exponential transformation. With Pluto, it usually requires a release of something, and with the trine, this release will be less painful and seamless.

 With Uranus in Taurus, this completes the Grand Earth Trine in effect around this full moon. The Earth signs are grounded and masters of manifestation. We are truly bringing heaven to Earth now. Jupiter in Scorpio will also be sextiling Pluto, expanding our full capabilities and mastery. This Moon is truly a portal into the new paradigm. 

The Moon will also be square to Neptune which can go one of two ways depending on your consciousness. If you are living in higher consciousness, this aspect brings imagination, creativity, and vision. We will begin to anchor in our co-creative powers in building New Earth. It also opens up our inituitive gifts and etheric connection. If one is living in lower consciousness, this can cause confusion and illusion that will require clarity. The veils are so thin now and those living in the mind will be unable to fathom or comprehend these higher energies. 

Venus will also be switching signs on the same day, transiting from airy and light Libra to deep and penetrative Scorpio. Venus rules how we love and what we value and Scorpio accepts nothing less than real and true. We must re-evalute what we value, as superficial and fake no longer serve us. 

Finally, the 9-9 portal will occur on the same day as the New Moon, the ultimate completion. The number 9 in Numerology encompasses all of the previous numbers. 9 is the culmination of all. Mother’s entire numerology contains the number 9’s, as she is the Alpha and the Omega. The 9-9 portal signifies the end of the old paradigm, of the pain and suffering, the EGO, and the darkness. This portal will carry us into the Light and the new paradigm. Nothing will be the same after this date, as we can only move forward in our evolution.

  • Mercury in Leo inconjunct Pluto Rx in Capricorn (18 deg)

Words have more power than you may realize. A subconscious push for domination, along with Leo’s drive for attention, can result in bold statements that end up triggering others. There may also be an undefined fear that your words will be ignored, but all you’re aware of is what’s being said on the surface, which you may interpret as bright, courageous and creative.

This is the disconnect between conscious expression versus subconscious impulses.

Pause before you speak and tune into your deeper motivations. If you’re on the receiving end of a difficult statement, pay attention to what’s not being said and consider the gap between power and how that power is communicated.

Overall, this is not the day to expect smooth communication, although much of the tension will be behind the shine.

Mercury Direct, Jupiter and Neptune Trine, August 19th 2018 ~ August 19, 2018

Mercury direct promises answers or forward movement regarding any issues that have been tied up since Mercury stationed Rx (July 25th/July 26th). Communication can become clearer and it may be easier for you to find an audience for your words. At the very least, you should have more control over your public messages. 

The last of three Jupiter/Neptune trines continues the theme of movement. This Water trine is a path of least resistance, with Jupiter expanding and Neptune dissolving limits. You can go deeper, which suggests deep release, peace, indulgence or addiction. It all depends on what areas of your chart are being activated. 

There’s an opportunity to get more or slide into tempting but unhealthy habits. It’s still your choice, even if the negative manifestations emerge. Jupiter does promise more of something, so what is it? Even if the initial event is negative, Jupiter is always about the horizon. You can rise to the surface and experience hope. Mercury direct reinforces this- it’s time to look ahead. 

Neptune is spirituality and Jupiter is belief – maybe this is about you emerging with a new sense of belief in a transcendent influence. The emotional dynamics of spirituality are important, because how you feel directly influences what you believe in. Depression, grief, relief or joy can turn the tide regarding where you place your faith. 

This issue is not new. It occured on Dec 2nd, 2017 and May 25th, 2018. If you’re in danger of getting sucked back into something that’s not good for you, you know how it will play out. Is it time to choose differently? If this is the return of an opportunity, go for it.
