Our Earth is known for its propensity of water. Water is everywhere on earth in a variety of forms, oceans, rivers, lakes, ponds, liquid, ice, snow, mist, fog, and rain. Water is even in our plant life and animals…including us! Many of you already know that the human body is composed of anywhere from 60-75% water with babies averaging 85-90% water. Yes…we are creatures of water!
This makes sense to me as I LOVE water! I love to swim and really feel at home in water. Also, many others will join me as I confess to loving a warm bubble bath! (couldn’t resist!) Could the reason so many of us feel freedom in the water be our familiarity with floating around in a warm bath of amniotic fluid in Mom’s tummy for nine or so months? At any rate, water is absolutely necessary for all life on Planet Earth.
Given the fact that water is mandatory for us, I have been disturbed by the callous treatment we give water on our planet. When you see and hear about water pollution all over the world, the realization sinks in that we need to change our minds about water. This is life-giving stuff, so why are we wasting water by destroying its value?
