The Spiritual Significance of the December Solstice 2017 ~ Dec. 21, 2017

By Tanaaz

The December 2017 Solstice falls on the 21st and marks a significant turning point and start of a new cycle.

In the Northern Hemisphere, the December Solstice is the first day of winter and a time of inward reflection. In the Southern Hemisphere, the December Solstice is the start of summer and a time of outward expression.

No matter where in the world you live, the December Solstice has always been linked to the planet Saturn. This is because the Solstice is marked by the Sun’s move into Saturn’s ruling constellation of Capricorn.

When the Sun reaches the constellation of the mountain goat, it signifies a turning point, as it is the last quarter cycle of the astrological year.

In astrology, the new year is celebrated when the Sun shifts into Aries, which happens in March, and as the Sun moves into Capricorn, it is symbolic that the end of another year is fast approaching.

Although today the start of the new year is celebrated as the calendar flips over to 2018, this turning point can still be felt as we prepare to wind up the year gone by.

As the Sun shifts into Capricorn, we are going to be reminded to not only reflect on the year gone by but to also slow down and check in with where we are at.

We have to take a moment to pause and work out if our actions are aligned with where we want to be.

In the Northern Hemisphere, we can take clues from Mother Earth on where we should be focusing our energy and attention.

As it is winter, the trees are bare, the animals are in hibernation, all of nature is slowing down in order to regenerate.

We too need to follow in the same tracks and conserve our energy for the climb ahead. After the Solstice dawns, it is going to be important for us to move at a slower pace and to not rush ahead.

While things may seem slow moving on the outside, on the inside however, it is very different.

As we “hibernate” and take it slow, we are given the opportunity to take a look into our inner world.

Most of us spend the year in a constant state of busyness so we never really stop to pause and see what is bubbling within. But with the December Solstice energy, we are all going to be given the opportunity to take a peek at what is happening on a heart and soul level.

The December Solstice is often called the Dark Night of the Soul for this very reason.

On the 21st of December when the hours of light and dark battle it out, we are all given the opportunity to retreat within and to discover ourselves on a new level.

If there are issues that have been tucked away in hiding, or unresolved thoughts and emotions, this is the time of year where they may resurface in order to be cleansed and renewed.

December Solstice time can be very cleansing, as long as we embrace the energy and don’t shy away from any painful emotions or past regrets that needs to be cleared.

In the Southern Hemisphere, this energy is present but it manifests a little differently. Again, we can look for clues in Mother Nature.

In the summertime, everything is in bloom and is able to express itself to the fullest. The flower buds are open, the birds are chirping, everything is very active and expressive.

This makes it a wonderful time to tap into your inner self and express it outwards for all of the world to see. Instead of hibernating, you are encouraged to get out into the world and take action in the direction that feels the best.

While it is still at time to reflect, your reflections can lead to positive actions that help you to move forward and make progress in whatever direction you choose.

Even though the Northern and Southern Hemispheres are receiving a different expressions of this energy, they both exist in harmony with each other as well. Think of it like a yin and yang symbol.

Both energies are different, but together they make a whole. In the Northern Hemisphere the energy has shifted to a more feminine, inward state, and in the Southern Hemisphere the energy is more masculine and outward, but both of these energies work in sync with one another.

The December Solstice is the perfect time to check in with your soul and to really take responsibility for the direction of your life.

In 2017 in particular, it is going to be really important to take things slow and to not put too much on your plate at this time.

Use this Solstice energy to take some downtime, and to really feel the calling of your heart.

When you take time to pause and tune in to your inner state, life becomes more fluid and far more grounded, and this is the exact energy we need as we venture into the new cycle.

Ceremony and Spiritual Significance of 11~11~2017 ~ Nov. 8, 2017

By Tanaaz

In numerology, 11 is considered a Master Number and is said to hold an angelic vibration that makes wishes and dreams manifest more easily.

11 is also believed to be the number of spiritual awakenings and signifies the rising of consciousness.

On the 11th day of the 11th month this energy is amplified, making this date highly magical and auspicious for all of us.

When you frequently see 11:11 on the clock or when you are drawn to repetitive patterns of number 11, it often indicates an upcoming change or awakening that is on the horizon.

Angels, Spirit Guides and the Universe also use numbers as a way to connect and communicate, and 1111 is commonly used by Divine beings to help point you in the right direction and to illuminate the path ahead for you.

1111 is about coming into alignment so you can walk your highest path and be a vibrational match for all that you need, want and desire.

This makes 11/11, the perfect time to do a ritual, or to even spend a few moments thinking about what you want to bring into your life.

2017 has been a Number 1 year in numerology, which means that the focus for this year’s 11/11 is about creating new beginnings and fresh starts.

We are all being called to think about what new things we want to manifest, and what new goals, dreams or wishes we want to create for ourselves.

We are all being beckoned to start a new chapter and to pivot, shift or turn our lives in a new direction.

For some of us, the journey of 2016-2017 has brought massive life overhaul, huge changes, and shifts. For others, the shifts have been subtle, or perhaps they have occurred on a deeper, subconscious level.

During this November season, perhaps take the time to reflect back on the year that has past and honor just how much you have changed, shifted and grown.

Honor the changes, deaths and rebirths that have occurred and ask yourself – How can I best move forward based on the current circumstances in my life?

Due to the fact that 2017 is a number 1 year, 11/11/2017 actually holds the vibration of – 11111. This sacred pattern of five number 1’s signifies creativity, playfulness, abundance and joy.

We are all being called to get creative and think bigger. We are all being called to learn how to play again and to relax into the joy and temporariness of life.

Life is really a game, yet sometimes we get so caught up in the drama and seriousness that we forget to play!

Part of this year’s 11/11 energy is about learning how to play and to get creative with your life again.

This vibration calls on us to manifest more joy, laughter and opportunities to get creative. This vibration calls on us to seek out things that make us happy and to remind us of the importance of play.

November 11, 2017 is a powerful time to manifest and to start creating a brighter vision for the future. It is the perfect time to set an intention about what you want to create in your life and then get to work on making it a reality.

Here is a ritual you can use for inspiration-

For the most potent effect, do this ritual at 11:11am on November 11, 2017

Step 1: Begin free flow writing for 11 minutes about all the things that bring you joy in your life. They can be things that currently bring you joy, or things that you want to bring into your life in the future. When you are free flow writing, the idea is to keep writing without lifting the pen off the page. Even if you don’t know what to write, keep the pen moving by writing gibberish or whatever flows to your mind. Allow yourself to write whatever in order to keep the pen moving.

Step 2: Once you have written for 11 minutes, go through what you have written and highlight all the things that bring you joy, and the feeling words that you have shared. These words and activities, are going to provide you clues as to where you need to be focusing your energy and time.

Step 3: Choose 3 of the best feeling words or activities that resonate the most to you right now and then write them down on a separate sheet of paper. Now place your hand over your heart and repeat for each feeling/activity- “I give myself permission to feel/do…….I give myself permission to bring more of this energy into my life starting today.”

Step 4: Now close your eyes, and visualize what your life will look like when you bring in all of this beautiful energy. See yourself achieving all that you want, and feeling joyful and happy. Meditate on this for 11 minutes. If you have trouble with visualizing, you can also do another free flow write for 11 minutes instead.

Step 5: With your vision in mind, write a clear intention for what you want to manifest in your life. Try to succinctly capture what emotions, feelings and things you want to bring into your life in one sentence. This will help you send a clear wish to the Universe. Here are some examples-

  • “My intention moving forward is to bring more relaxed and peaceful energy into my life so I may feel aligned and connected with my highest path”
  • “My intention moving forward is to give myself permission to play and to feel young and joyful again.”
  • “My intention moving forward is to listen and honor my intuition so I can advance further in my career and bring in more abundance.”
  • “My intention moving forward is to open my heart to new love and to share new memories with another.”

There is no right or wrong when it comes to your intention, just try to phrase it in a positive way. Once you have your intention, keep it somewhere you can see it regularly or state it out loud a few times.

Step 6: Thank your Spirit team and close with the mantra-

“I am aligned, I am One, I am creating the life of my highest path where all my wishes are fulfilled. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.”

Numerology & Spiritual Significance of November 2017 ~ Oct. 31, 2017

By Tanaaz

November is a highly sacred month in numerology and is considered one of the most meaningful points of the year.

This is because November is a number 11 month and in numerology, 11 holds the sacred vibration of creativity, oneness and higher consciousness.

In 2017, this energy is going to be further amplified seeing as it is a number 1 year, with the most significant dates being November 1, 10, 11, 28 and 29.

To understand why 11 is so powerful and sacred in numerology, it is important to look at the symbolism for the number 1 first.

Numerology of Number 1

1 represents unity and oneness. We are all connected and we are all one, and the energy of number 1 reminds us of this. Number 1 also represents new beginnings and fresh starts- it symbolizes the creative process as we take that first step in a new direction.

11 is such a powerful number because it amplifies this number 1 energy and adds to it. This energy is further amplified and becomes even more potent when we have 111 or 1111.

11, 111 and 1111 also signify feelings of oneness and connection. They signify an awakening to wholeness and a rising in consciousness to more heightened states of awareness.

11, 111 and 1111 are also connected to the Divine realms, and signify that your angels and guides are supporting you.

When you see these number patterns, it is also often a sign that you are heading in the right direction, and aligned with where you are meant to be going.

These number patterns can also signify the opening of new dimensions or states of awareness.

For example, in Pagan times the ritual of Samhain (which is now celebrated as Halloween) falls on November 1st. It is believed that in the darkest hours of the morning on 1/11, the veil between the living and the dead is thinnest.

This belief is partly linked to numerology, as the date of 111 signifies the three dimensions- the Lower World, Earth and the Upper World. It was believed that on this date, beings could travel freely across all dimensions.

While 111 and 1111 can represent doorways into other portals or dimensions, these number patterns are often associated with angelic realms and places of higher consciousness.

Out of all the days in the month, November 11 is going to hold the most potent vibration, as the date 11/11/1, amplifies number 1 energy five times. This is a highly creative energy and the perfect time to think about what you want to manifest into your life.

Due to the high vibration of this day, you are also more likely to create and manifest things in your life that are aligned with your soul and your highest path.

Spiritual Significance of November

The entire vibration of November is going to be guiding all of us to awaken to higher levels so we can feel connected aligned with our purpose.

No matter what life deals your way, we all have the power to co-create and be active participants in our reality. We may not have all the control, but we can definitely control how we choose to react to things.

We can all use the energy on offer to us in November to help us co-create the life that we truly want to lead.

We can all use this energy to bring in more love, abundance and gratitude, all we need to do is start focusing our attention on what we want, rather than what we don’t want.

This powerful manifestation energy will continue into next year as well, as 2018 is also a number 11 year.

This means that you can use the energy of November 2017 to begin manifesting and setting intentions for the year ahead too.

Samhain Ceremony ~ October to November 2017 ~ Oct. 29, 2017

By Tanaaz

Samhain or Halloween is all about celebrating the eternal part of life, the never ending cycle of death and rebirth that we all follow.

It is also a time to honor your departed loved ones, and to remember that even though they are not with you physically, they are very much present in spirit.

Samhain is also the perfect time to reflect on all the things you have have had to let go of this year, whether it be relationships, a job, or a way of life, and to celebrate the new energy that will eventually take its place.

When something is released from our lives, we actually enter a highly creative vibration which can really help us to manifest all that we desire.

This ritual is designed to help you-

  • Honor the real, eternal You
  • Send blessings to loved ones who have departed
  • Manifest a new vision for yourself

This ritual is best done after sunset on October 31st and before sunrise on November 1st.

 Samhain Ritual 2017

You will need:

  • Sage or another smudging tool
  • A plate of nature- include a small bowl of water, nuts/seeds/fruit, flowers, crystals or any other objects that you wish
  • 3 White candles
  • Pen and paper

Directions:

1.) Set up your ritual first by placing the plate of nature in the center with the three candles in front of it in a straight line. Keep your pen and paper off to the side but somewhere you can easily reach it.

2.) Start by smudging your aura and surroundings using the sage. Once you have done that, start smudging the items for your ritual too. As you smudge repeat the following or write your own-

“I ask my guides and angels to cleanse my body, my aura and my surroundings. I ask my guides and angels to restore me to my highest vibration. I ask my guides and angels to protect me while I work.”

3.) Light the candles and take a few deep breaths in and out to still your mind. Place your hand over your heart and focus your attention on the flame of one of your candles. Allow the dancing flame to relax and calm your mind.

4.) When you feel ready, close your eyes and imagine a beautiful ball of white light radiating from your heart. Get this visual clear in your mind and then allow it to grow stronger and stronger. Visualize the light covering your entire body, then the room, then your house, the street, the neighbourhood, the country and so on.

5.) Now see this light beaming up straight out of the earth all the way to the Source/God- to the Universal ball of energy that we all came from. See your light connecting with the Source and then quietly to yourself repeat-

“I am connected to Source (or God) and Source is connected to me, I allow Source energy to flow freely to me.”

6.) Visualize the Source energy pouring back into you and allow yourself to feel full and loved by this energy. If you are struggling to feel a connection, ask your guides and angels to help or keep repeating the mantra above.

7.) Once you feel finished with that, open your eyes, thank all the Divine beings that assisted you, then, snuff out one of the candles and put it to the side.

8.) Now, bring your attention to a loved one or something that you lost this year (job, relationship etc). Repeat the following mantra (this mantra is more for a loved one so feel free to edit if you are doing this for something else)-

“I allow (insert name) to fly freely, I allow them to fly high, I want to see them happy, I want to see them soar. I know they are apart of me, and I open up to feel them even more. I know they are still with me, I can feel their love radiating within, I love them and I miss them, but I am ready for the new to begin.”

9.) Send any departed souls, or something you lost this year lots of love, and then snuff out the next candle. Put it to the side.

10.) Take your pen and paper and make a list of all of the objects on your ‘Plate of Nature’. For each object that you have, touch it, connect with it and then write down what it symbolises and is going to help you bring into your life. There is no right or wrong with this, use your intuition to guide you. Here is an example-

  • Bowl of water: this water symbolises to me cleansing and forgiveness. I know I need to forgive myself for……I forgive myself and welcome in the new energy of harmony and peace.
  • Almonds: these almonds symbolise the hard shell that I have been putting up to the world. I know that I no longer need to carry this….etc.

Allow each object on the plate to represent something in your life that you are looking to release and replace with a new energy. Don’t worry too much about this step, just go with whatever comes to you first and keep it simple.

11.) From what you have written, take a moment to highlight all the positive words that you are bringing into your life. For example- harmony, peace, freedom etc. Using “I am” repeat each out loud. Eg. “I am harmony, I am peace” etc.

12.) Thank your angels and guides for being with you. Snuff out your last candle. Leave your Plate of Nature as an offering to your loved ones and to the past. Clear it away after sun rise or when you wake up. (It is fine to eat the items and to reuse them in whatever way suits).

Happy Halloween!

Understanding the 3 States of Consciousness: 3D, 4D, and 5D ~ July 9, 2017

There is no doubt that other dimensions or realms exist in this Universe. You may have seen them yourself through your dreams or through astral travel.

You may have felt the experience of deja vu, or simply felt through a meditation that there is so much more to what we can comprehend.

Just like we have different dimensions in this Universe, we also have different dimensional states of consciousness. These dimensions available to us on Earth are referred to as  3D, 4D and 5D.

These dimensions are not actual places but rather they are states of consciousness. Here on Earth, we are all living life in either 3D, 4D, 5D or a combination of all three.

In fact, it is most likely that majority of people on Earth are moving back and forth across two or three of these dimensional states of consciousness depending on where they are in their lives.

Even though we are all living on the same planet and are surrounded by the same world, our perception of it will be different depending on which state of consciousness we are choosing to see things at.

Those perceiving things from a 3D state are going to walk through life much differently to someone perceiving things from a 5D state.

If you are curious what dimensional state your consciousness is at, here is a brief explanation of each:

Living from a 3D State

3D consciousness is viewing things from a purely physical state. You are seen as an individual that is separate from others.

Life feels like “the survival of the fittest” and you are identified by the way you look, the job you have, the car you drive and the people you surround yourself with. You feel fearful about missing out or not having enough.

Things are perceived as being good or bad and life is a competition. There is not enough for everyone and some people have to miss out. Fulfilment is found in making money and social status.

Your thoughts have no power over your reality and what comes your way in life is simply a coincidence. You rely on your five sense to move through the world.

There is a lot of joy in living life from the 3D state but pain and deeper emotions can be difficult to manage.

In a 3D state there is no desire to go within or to look at things from a deeper stand point.

Life is played out by skimming the surface. There is no desire to dig deep or to understand the deeper meaning behind things.

Living from a 4D State

Many people believe that the 4th dimensional state acts like a “gateway” to the 5th.

When in 4D it is easy to travel back to a 3D state, however this jump in consciousness is much more difficult when you reach a 5D state.

4D consciousness begins to awaken to the idea that we are all connected and that there is more to life than what meets the eye.

Thoughts are powerful and can shift the way reality is perceived. Duality and the idea of good and bad is still experienced, but there is more compassion and understanding behind it.

There is an opening to the importance of diet, meditation and leading a healthy lifestyle. What you put into your body becomes important and there is a desire to pay attention to how your actions effect the environment and those around you.

There is a strong desire to find your purpose and to follow your passions. You understand that life is meant to be enjoyed and that you are worthy to live the life of your dreams.

You perceive the world through 6 senses and your intuition starts to grow and expand. You seek a deeper meaning to life and you can start to see the synchronicity/magic of the Universe.

Living from a 5D State

Once you reach a 5D state of consciousness, it is very difficult to go back to a 3D state.

From this level of consciousness you begin to understand that we are all one and we are all connected.

Life becomes an adventure of growth and there is no such thing as good or bad. There is a higher purpose for all things and every experience holds meaning.

There are stronger feelings of love and connectedness with others, the planet and even the galaxies around us.

Love and compassion reign supreme and there is a lack of judgement. You understand that everyone is just on their own journey.

Everyone is considered to be equal and there is a desire to live from a place of pure authenticity. You understand that your purpose is to live your truth and to seek the joy.

From this state, you know that there is no competition and there is enough in the Universe for everyone.  You feel overwhelming emotions of love and compassion for life, Mother Earth and the stars.

Your intuition is extremely strong and you feel connected to angelic beings. It is important to remember that these states of consciousness are not “better” or “worse” than the other.

Every soul on this Earth has their own journey to walk and their own reasons for choosing which dimensional state to live from.

Even Higher States of Consciousness

What is more interesting than these dimensional states are the ones that come next.

There are higher states of consciousness, but these are believed to be only accessible after we have left our physical bodies.

It is possible however, to access these states through meditation, our dreams and even with certain herbs/plant medicines.

In higher states of consciousness there are 3 key differences:

  1. Perception of time
  2. Power of thoughts
  3. Feelings of oneness

It is believed that in 6D and 7D our thoughts are so powerful that all we have to do is think about a location and we can travel to it.

Without a physical body, in these states we can fly wherever we want, as fast as we want and we have a very strong understanding of unity consciousness.

Time is not linear and cannot be measured, instead time feels endless.

There is no fear in these states of being and everything is perceived from a place of pure, unconditional love.

In higher states like 8D, 9D and 10D, it is believed that we are able to return our energy to the Source, merge with others in our soul group and travel to different galaxies.

In these higher states we can also reincarnate either back to Earth or other star systems. The soul can also choose to continue moving up to higher levels of consciousness.
