| Wise owls, today we want to make sure we have our “cosmic antennae” turned on, as Mercury makes its one-day-a-year conjunction with the Galactic Center. Today we are destined to LEARN!
Here are some of the things the universe wants us to receive:
1 – TEACHINGS FROM TO THE PAST – Elements of the past resurface to help us apply wisdom to the present. This is concentrated around relationships today, as Venus is aspecting the Moon’s Nodes (the past and the future). Venus is discharging “Indians making camp in new territory,” so the idea is to move on and move forward – toward destiny!
New territory involves the unknown, which can bring anxiety (which is actually fear), but all that is required is an adjustment period. Growth and new and exciting opportunities for experience come when we go into new territory. Allow some time and space.
What is repeating from the past in order for you to see? Are you accepting scraps or less than you deserve? The Sabian symbol for this current solar-lunar cycle is “seagulls flying around a ship looking for food.” This energetic always asks us to see our value. It also reminds us that solid ground is nearby, and we are safe.
Overnight, at 3:23 am ET for those in the US, and early tomorrow, at 8:23 am UT for those in Europe, the Moon will conjunct Jupiter at “a widow’s past is brought to light.” This will flavor the energetics tomorrow. Let’s learn what is being taught from the past in the light of today to moderate the effects.
2 – TEACHINGS FROM NATURE – The Sun is fresh off exact conjunction with Saturn yesterday, showing us the true nature of things. Saturn is discharging “a student of nature lecturing, revealing little-known aspects of life,” Pay close attention to synchronicities and unusual animal sightings and encounters. The natural world is our messenger, and with Mercury the Messenger conjunct the center of the galaxy, messages are all around. Keep your Animal Speak guide handy.
3 – TEACHINGS FROM MEDITATION – The Sun is discharging “a fire worshipper meditates on the ultimate realities of existence.” We have “little-known aspects of life” with Saturn and “the ultimate realities of existence” with the Sun. One way or another, we are supposed to get a message today.
Make sure you are not playing with fire. Avoid “getting burned.” Risk taking is not advised today. Instead, make or stoke a fire (or light a candle and receive inspiration). The Sun will move to the “fire worshipper” degree at the exact same minute Mercury conjuncts the Galactic Center.

4 – TEACHINGS ABOUT FORMING A VISION – Mercury will conjunct the Galactic Center at 12:03 pm ET/5:03 pm UT. The degree of the Galactic Center is 27 Sagittarius and the Sabian symbol of “the sculptor’s vision is taking form.”
The Gnostics called the GC the pleroma. It is the place of Limitlessness and the place of Source. Infinite creativity and possibility bubble up from the pleroma. The stuff from which anything can form begins there.

The cosmos is definitely holding class today, not only with all of these energetics, but also with Mercury beginning to make the square to Chiron – the Master Teacher. Chiron’s teachings are often hard-won, but they are oh so life-changing and beneficial.
