Welcome to Jupiter in Sagittarius!

It was a long haul to get here.  Can you feel the shift in energy?

If not, give it a little time to settle in.  Depending on your chart, it make take until the Sun leaves Scorpio in a couple of weeks to fully shake it.

Since we have seen that Jupiter is a major player in ushering in Second Renaissance (it is the largest planet in the solar system, after all!), we will track it’s movement through each of the degrees more closely over the next year.

Remember that Sagittarius is Jupiter’s home sign.  They exalt the truth, and in doing so, they bring reform.  Deception is not tolerated and comes to light.  We question meaninglessness and gravitate to what is truly meaningful to us.

Venus’ retrograde is paving the way nicely for us to see what is truly meaningful and then take it to new heights while Jupiter is in Sagittarius.

Jupiter in Sagittarius brings discussions to higher levels.  Jupiter in Sagittarius is lofty and expansive.  The highest octaves involve maturity, immense amounts of learning, and discovering new and better ways.

The lowest octaves involve lying, hiding things, never-ending and self-destructive pursuits, and undervaluing what is simple and reliable.

Overall, Jupiter in Sagittarius  UPLIFTS.

Let’s track the first degree of it:

NOVEMBER 8 – NOVEMBER 12, 2018: 01 Sagittarius: “retired Army veterans gather to reawaken old memories”

The spirits of liberty and fellowship sweep through first, producing realignments toward better ways.  Systems, methods, and roles change.  The “Resonance Principle” (like attracts like, unalike repels unalike) is strongly in effect to shift the energies from Scorpio’s underworld to Sagittarius’ truth.  We release struggle by looking back to the past for wisdom and apply it in the present.

Looking more specifically at today, we have themes of:

1 – COLLABORATION – Things will work much better today if they are approached from a collaborative perspective.  A transformation occurs when we take things that have been carried alone and share them with another or others.  The Sun is discharging “a woman filled with her own spirit is the father of her own child.”  This is an energetic of independence and self-sufficiency, but it is fully integrated when we bring balance.  If you have neglected something, today is the day to return to it.

2 – MIGHT AND LIGHT – The Earth is discharging “a symbolic battle between swords and torches.”  In the old paradigm, this was might versus light.  We align with Mighty Light now.  It is a good idea to look back to the original goal or mission in order to line back up.  If we have been lost in something, this energy helps us find the way back.

3 – REGAINED OPPORTUNITIES – Metaphorically-speaking, the “golden-haired goddess of opportunity” comes on the scene with Mercury today.  It’s a chance to regain lost opportunities, the theme for this astrological year.  Mercury is discharging 10 Sagittarius, “a theatrical representation of a golden-haired goddess of opportunity.” 

Whatever happens today foreshadows what happens on December 1 (when the Sun reaches this degree) and December 18 – 22 (when Jupiter reaches this degree).  Make a note of what happens today and mark your calendars for the other dates and to look back to today.  It will provide excellent data.

Today is 7 Star in the tzolkin – a time to reflect (7) on wishes and high hopes (Star) while being grateful for one’s current blessings.

A storm rages outside today, with the Earth discharging “a man with a rakish silk hat muffled against the cold  braves a storm.”

The Sun and Mercury are discharging energies that remind us to remain grounded.  Both planets are discharging “earthy” energetics.  The Sun is discharging “children playing around five mounds of sand.”
Mercury is discharging “deep within the depths of the earth, new elements are being formed.”  Maintaining centeredness is always important, but especially so today.

Personal vibration/frequency is reverberating within the fellowship of humanity.

Anything within one’s vibration/frequency that needs to be transformed is being shown to us.  It’s 5 Death/Transformation in the tzolkin.  Another 5 energy.

Five is the energy of love, and love is the best transformer of all.

So, let’s let love transform today.

It’s 12 Ahau/Sun in the Mayan Sacred Calendar, a day when we aim for UNDERSTANDING.

This may be a challenge, as we have several significant astrological aspects in play that are rather dramatic.  Here is a list of them and some ideas on how to work the highest octaves of the energy (and thus maximize the incredible potential of today):

1 – VENUS EXACTLY OPPOSITE URANUS BEFORE VENUS RETROGRADES BACK INTO ARIES –  Venus made exact opposition with Uranus overnight.  This brings us a day of surprises and changes (and maybe shocking news or information).  Within this, we have a chance to gain a greater UNDERSTANDING.

Venus will retrograde back into Aries at 2:42 pm ET/6:423 pm UT.  It is a big deal when a planet retrogrades back into the previous sign.  Powerful things can happen.  The pace of things will pick up speed, as Aries energy moves fast.  Things can come out of the blue more quickly.  Be aware, and remember there is always a silver lining with Uranus.

The Sabian symbol for degree that Venus returns to is “three mounds of knowledge on a philosopher’s head.”  We remember that this energy deals with looking at the past, applying that information to the present, and projecting it into the future.  This is wisdom-in-action.

Recall that while Venus is retrograde, our value systems are realigned.  This is the highest goal of Venus retrograde.  It wants us to see what we truly value and make changes accordingly.

There may be some developments related to the “caravan” heading to the border of the US.  Before Venus retrogrades back into Aries, it will complete discharge of “a sight-seeing bus filled with tourists.”

2 – MOON OPPOSE BLACK MOON with exact opposition at 2:00 pm ET/6:00 pm UT.  It’s a Black Moon Day, a day when people tend to project their own shadow sides (fears) onto others.  We give wide berth to anyone who is being challenged.  Emotional states can swing high and low on these days.  Step aside and let it go.

At the time of the opposition, the Moon will be discharging “early morning dew.”  This energetic helps us recognize what needs to be released.  The goal is to see other options and let go of struggle.  Things that seemed like great ideas may not seem as great now.  This is ok.  It is information.  And we have the courage and strength to make any changes that are needed.

(Those with the Sun, Chiron, or Black Moon in Aquarius or Leo, this is one of the stages of rebirth that you are undergoing until May.  Rest when needed, and remember this is a temporary transit that is trying to make you into a wiser you.  Flow with changes and disengage from power struggles.)

3 – REPAIRING DAMAGE – Today the Sun is discharging “a dentist at work.”  This energetic is about repairing things and making them better/healing them.  What needs to be fixed?

4 – GROUP ENDEAVORS ARE FAVORED – Mercury has moved into Sagittarius, and today it is discharging “retired army veterans gather to reawaken old memories.”  What are you being called to do?  What needs to be reconnected or reestablished?

5- JOY – Within all of these energetics today, the Earth is discharging “a Christmas tree decorated.”  The heart of this symbol is about spreading joy and goodwill to others.  Today, this is an act of a spiritual warrior.

We can spread joy and goodwill when we keep one thing in mind:  URANUS PUTS THINGS THE WAY THEY NEED TO BE.  This means we trust.  We UNDERSTAND that a process is underway.  And it takes us into Second Renaissance.

Expect the unexpected, wise owls.  That’s what we do when Uranus is active.  And remember, what happens today is helping us to UNDERSTAND things better and is putting us on proper course.

We continue to expect the unexpected as Venus remains in opposition to Uranus at the Chiron Point.

We continue to remember Uranus brings changes and shifts that put things the way they need to be for the highest and best.  Uranus rectifies.

The way Uranus works is similar to setting a broken bone.  It hurts to get it back in line.

But then, healing begins.  We are in the “healing” part of Chiron’s dynamic.

We are also in the “teaching” part of Chiron’s dynamic because we learn what not to do to break again.  We learn how to get back in line and/ or how to stay in alignment.

Messages about this and messages that show us what is most important to us hang heavily (heavenly) in the air.  Mercury and Jupiter are conjunct, trying to make wisdom “king,” as they discharge “the King of the Fairies approaching his domain.”

We tend to go deep, take deep dives, have deep insights, and make deep discoveries today.  The Sun is discharging “deep sea divers,” and “a woman of Samaria comes to draw water from the well.”

(I call 07 Scorpio, “deep sea divers,”  the Sabian symbol of the Anons.  Interestingly, Qanon’s first post was one year ago yesterday.  The chart for the time stamp of the first post shows that the three major degrees of the zodiac on which I focus — the Galactic Center, the Chiron Point, and the Eris Point — were all heavily activated.  Anyone interested in hearing more about this?)

On Saturday, when the murders at the synagogue happened, the Earth was discharging “a widow at an open grave.”  The archons show out again with a direct attack on the tree of life.  At 6:17 pm ET today, Mars will move to 21 Aquarius, “a woman, disappointed and disillusioned, courageously facing a seemingly empty life.”  These two symbols are energetically-related.  Both can bring tremendous feelings of grief.  Be aware.

“What is done in the dark will be brought to light.”

Today we attend to wisdom, and dive deep.
