On this afternoon, Monday, January 22, 2024, there have been two very strong “M.3-Class” solar flares, and these have come after an “M.1-Class” solar flare earlier this morning.
One huge coronal mass ejection is heading directly for Earth that is projected to arrive tonight after “6:00” PM (EST), but two more are expected to arrive on January 23rd and the other on January 25th — the same day as the “Full Moon” which will make a further “pull” upon Earth’s geomagnetic inner and outer fields.
The magnetosphere surrounding our planet — its protective shield — is being pressed by dense particles of plasma as has been the usual case for several months with only a few days of only hovering particles but no pressing into the magnetosphere.
These cosmic events are powerful!
They will produce significant geomagnetic storms — in other words — radiation storms that will be probably registered at “G2” and “G3” levels (“G3” is the most powerful).
Sunspots have been detected on our Sun that are ten times larger than our planet Earth which are brewing with more “M-Class” solar flares.
