Then, of course, there’s the awkward fact that even if he is ultimately Impeached, it will mean nothing unless he’s convicted in the Senate! That’s the Senate with a Democratic Majority. Care to place a bet on the odds there are 67 Senators (the necessary two-thirds) who’ll convict?
Indeed, if you study the History of Presidential Impeachments, you’ll know that every one of them failed! I see no reason to think this one would be any different.
