If the pace continues, we’re going to need a better gear ratio. This past weekend was crazy, and Sunday was red-lining. I can barely see the checkered flag on the far side of the oval so I must be behind!
I thought Ohio was off the charts as I perused the Web this weekend, and then I saw this summary which encapsulates it well. More on Ohio’s drama further down, and don’t let me forget to share some of the “supernatural” stuff I stumbled on.
The election in Brazil was a rollercoaster. The people were out on the streets heartily supporting the Bolsonaros these past couple of weeks and Flavio did exceptionally well in the election and was a clear winner — but when the polls were 80% closed, they had a flood of votes for Lula and ultimately declared him the winner. But that wasn’t the end.
An estimated 80% of polling stations were closed when they extended the hours.
213 cities that voted Flávio in the 1st round, voted Lula in the 2nd.

Then… Bolsonaro contested the election, and the courts declared there was no law to support re-opening the polls. That means Bolsonaro’s lead should stand. SHOULD. We’ll see what happens.
Of course elections can wreak havoc on a country’s economics and Brazil witnessed that first hand.

Elections are causing mayhem in a lot of places. British Columbia, Canada elected a Conservative majority rather than the usual NDP for the first time in nearly 100 years.
Preliminary results have the Conservatives elected or leading in 64 of the legislature’s 93 ridings, comfortably above the 47 seats required for a majority. The NDP sits at 27 seats, while the Greens are at two.
Quite the upset, and perhaps it is an indicator that Canadians are fed up and waking up in greater numbers.

Michigan and other states had interesting numbers. So… 53 – 47. Where have we seen that before? Q drops, of course. It seems to be a repeating sequence.

TOLEDO, Ohio
An explosion at a north Toledo chemical terminal Tuesday night prompted an evacuation within a mile of the facility and a shelter-in-place order for people within 3 miles, as emergency crews worked to assess the risk of another explosion and potential chemical exposure.
At a news conference Wednesday morning, city and fire officials identified the chemical as glycidyl methacrylate, an industrial product used in coatings.
The explosion of a chemical tank occurred at about 9:30 p.m. at MC Tank Terminal, 1266 Progress Ave., where products are temporarily stored before being shipped by rail or road.
The cause of the explosion remained unknown Wednesday morning.
People sheltering in place should remain indoors and keep ventilation systems off, Toledo Fire spokesperson Tiffany Morrissey said Wednesday morning.

At this point it feels from the dialogue and energy out there that the Republicans are going to have their red wave. The Dimms have all but given up on being able to pull a rabbit out of a hat as they did in the past, and I’m wondering if we’re going to get the reverse of the last election when we just knew Trump was going to clean up in America, only to learn that the Alliance was going to let the Demonrats cheat so they could capture it all to “show” the world the proof later on.
America was devastated and demoralized to see Joe Biden as President, but what if we get the reverse surprise this time around? What if the Republicans have an overwhelming majority which no lunatic leftist normie can argue with?
That would explain why we feel like there could be a potential uprising, violence, and why they are bandying about “civil war”. We know the military has been dispatched everywhere they expect the left might hold riots and display their usual despicable behaviour to try to convince the world that the the majority want Democrats in power. No one believes them any more. America is redder than ever and the whole world that is awake wants Donald Trump for their president. We can see what the enemy has done in France and other places and that must and will be prevented in America.
It’s going to be a fascinating fall of the cabal. If you’re a NASCAR fan you know what typically happens on the last lap or two of a race as the field makes their run for the checkered flag. Yup. Chaos. Four wide on the track, going for the “pass in the grass”, getting stuck on the apron, smacking the wall, running out of fuel, cars flipping over, catching on fire. It’s insane. The adrenaline is flowing and every driver gives it everything they and their wheels have left. Something dramatic usually starts a chain reaction the cameras love. You in?
