Something beautiful happened today.
🏴 President & Commander-in-Chief Trump
went home to Scotland.
He was greeted with great fanfare:
Pipes, music, singing & fireworks.
His mother, Mary MacLeod Trump, was born
in the tiny village of Tong, in the Outer Hebrides.
In 1949 a widespread revival swept through
the Outer Hebrides islands.
In a small cottage by the roadside
in the village of Barvas, lived two elderly women,
Peggy & Christine Smith.
They were too infirm to attend public worship.
One night Peggy had a revelation, revival was coming
& the church of her fathers would be crowded again
with young people.
And it was so.
President Trump was gifted a Bible
from his mother, Mary,
that was used in the Hebrides Revival.
He put his hand on that Bible to be sworn in
as President of the United States
& that Bible sat in the Oval Office
