For anyone in and around the Ohio area: When Vinyl Chloride burns it becomes Hydrogen Chloride, which unfortunately becomes Hydrochloric acid when it is in contact with the water in the atmosphere…. HOWEVER!! the solution is: If you buy and spray Sodium Chlorite solution into the air, what happens is the acids are totally neutralized during the reaction, and the nasty Hydrochloric acid in the air becomes Chlorine Dioxide… Which is a relatively harmless disinfectant used to purify drinking water!! So with a little chemistry this disaster could actually be turned into something good… as Chlorine Dioxide kills all known germs and bugs, but is mostly harmless otherwise……. This is a VERY fixable situation IF they want it fixed…. Biotraxx.com sells Sodium Chlorite solution…
