The information you just read is right. My son is a engineer for BNSF. They gave worked for 3 years without a contract.. I talked to my son today and there are many issues for the employees and the unions are NOT good to them. They want to take away the insurance cap which would cause their health premiums to sky rocket. Also it is very hard for them to take care of personal affairs because they have a 30 point system and they get deducted unfairly if they get sick or they have an emergency. They need a contract.
