It is sounding like we’re going to see a winter storm moving in and some heavy weather folks. I hope you’re ready. January 6 may be a big day, for multiple reasons. We’re on tenterhooks to find out if we’re going to hear the long-awaited words from the Commander-in-Chief:

There is a rally scheduled in support of President Trump in DC on January 6 and Juan O’Savin says everyone MUST be there if at all possible; and at least in spirit.

Nashville wasn’t the only place hit. Some say this printer took care of producing election ballots. Why else would this facility be hit? And why did everything inside disappear? The RV may have been a decoy, but why alert people to clear out ahead of time? Crazy times, indeed.

CirstenW updates us with her intel. She’s cold. I’m cold. It’s 63F in the house and I don’t know how to work the thermostat. Leaving it Light… It’s Mica’s 7th birthday today, and this short video from Dan Scavino is typical of what Golden Retrievers do in the snow. They play. Mica has no snow, but he loves water and when he does get a rare chance at a snow day up north, he’s all in. Face plants, snow ploughs, the works. Our pets remind us to play and lighten up.

Mica keeps me amused with his clunking up and down the big wooden staircase which he had to learn to negotiate as he’s only done a few steps until now. First it was one paw at a time, one step at a time. Now he can climb with each paw on a separate stair but he’s huffing and puffing when he arrives at the top. Going down is one step at a time. We will be adding a carpet runner to the stairs as we feel it’s safer for all concerned.
