For me, I AM awake! However, it actually takes practice for me to “stay awake”. Good intentions help of course, but it takes real perseverance to keep thinking, feeling, and BEing in that good place I hold in my heart!

Do you have a similar situation? If so, please read this article, resolve to “stay awake” longer each day, and…

1. You find yourself quick to anger.

Anger can come from a lot of different things and appear for a number of reasons. One of them is from a stalled spiritual awakening making us feel frustrated. You may have some repressed memories and baggage to move on from before you can continue with your awakening.

2. You’re too into yourself.

This is a great way to stall your spiritual awakening. Spirituality isn’t about how many crystals you own or how many singing bowls you play a day. It’s not about self-gratification and pleasure. It’s about understanding yourself and your universe more deeply. Getting a big head will stop a spiritual awakening in its tracks.

3. You can’t see past the negative.

Turn on the news and you’ll see the narrative that everything is wrong in the world. If you let that get to you, you’ll never be as fully spiritually awake as you could be. There’ll always be bad stuff happening in the world. The question is, will you create good yourself?

4. You’ve just let it go.

Spiritual awakening is about creating new habits. When you fall back into old patterns, like spending money on nothing or eating terrible food, you’ll halt your spiritual awakening right in its tracks. Remember: stick with it.

5. You don’t think you’re worthy.

Everyone is worthy of spiritual awakening, including you. Don’t think you aren’t.
