In a Time of the Unknown and Panic- How Astrology Offers Clues to the Future + The Real Dawn of the Age of Aquarius ~ March 14, 2020

Hey Astromomma fam! I have missed you all! I have wanted to write a piece on the astrological interpretation of the recent corona-virus for days now. I honestly couldn’t write a thing, and literally had writers block for days. Like most of you, I have been in a state of ” information overload”. We are in unprecedented times. Astrology has always been my go to in looking to the higher meaning to everyday affairs. This virus is no exception, so I decided to look to the future of the astrology to perhaps provide some clues and even comfort on what is to come. This is by no means a prediction guide, but hopefully can provide some insight.

When looking at the astrology of the recent months, we had one particular aspect that we have never had in our lifetimes. This would be the Saturn/Pluto conjunction in Capricorn, that occurred on January 12th. This aspect last happened over 500 years ago in 1518. Saturn in astrology, represents: restriction, boundaries, obligations and karma. Pluto in astrology, represents: transformation, power, hidden forces and regeneration. Capricorn, the 10th zodiac sign, represents: the government, big business, the patriarch, destiny and authority.

The Saturn/Pluto conjunction in Capricorn aspect catapulted our awareness of power and control. Or in the case of current times ,the lack of what we really have control with in our lives. This once in a lifetime aspect, which by the way, is still playing out, even though it was exact in January, brought up the limited way we have reacted to fear and “being in charge”. Capricorn likes to stick to the rules and follow protocol. Unfortunately, there is no protocol for a virus that has never been seen or made recognized till now. As we now know, restrictions on our everyday life are now common place. Isolation and quarantine have become the new norm. This is very much a Capricorn tactic of holding on to one last thread of order in a world of panic. Now I am not saying this is wrong or unjust, considering what we are dealing with, just making note of these very Capricorn like tactics.

The true enlightenment of the Saturn/Pluto in Capricorn aspect was realizing that we in fact are “out of control”. Everything is. The illusion that our job or the government could save us is something of the past. In the end, its our own connection to our internal power and source that will always remain. It is actually the surrender to this fact that allows new creative solutions to emerge. This is where we are headed. The real Aquarian age is upon us. Aquarius, is the sign of the people and invention. A true rebel who thrives in the unknowns. Let me explain why this is so critical, not only in our survival but for setting up future generations to come after we are gone.

The outer planets of: Saturn, Jupiter, and Pluto will continue to progress through Capricorn, each one will eventually enter the sign of Aquarius. The outer planets in astrology tend to show activity on a larger scale as they are stay in a sign for a longer time and impact us for months if not years. Saturn, the planet of: restriction, obligation and duty enters Aquarius on March 21st for a brief 3 month transit, before going retrograde, then re-entering Aquarius for good later in the year. Jupiter, the planet of luck, wisdom and expansion, enters Aquarius in December 2020, to stay till the end of 2021. Finally, good ol Pluto, the planet of: transformation, regeneration and power, enters Aquarius in 2024-2044( yes you read that right).

Aquarius, as previously described, is an air sign, that is known to be all about: people, invention, dreams, originality, progress and sweeping change. If there was a time for re-invention, or dealing with the craziness of life, Aquarius, would be the maverick in charge. In true Aquarius style, we are set to come together to unite in a way that has never occurred. Yes, Aquarius rules technology, so many of these “connections” will still continue electronically. The difference now is the awareness that even technology, within its finest, can’t really connect us. It literally took something “beyond our reasoning” to figure this out. That is where the true genius of invention is created. Expect breakthroughs of unprecedented kinds within technologies to help us combat this and similar types of pandemics in the future. With all the craziness of these times, from an astrological standpoint, we are so fortunate to be entering into the Aquarius age. True liberation from our old ways of being is upon us.

In closing, this is just a perspective and I hope it has settled your mind and heart a bit. No one has the answers. It is time to step into a new way of being and thinking as we are now dealing with circumstances and conditions that we have never seen. If anything (my humble opinion) this virus, has the potential to connect us like we have never been connected before. It has shown what truly matters and in many respects, the liberties we so take for granted. As mentioned, the Aquarius age we are now entering is all about realizing ” WE ARE ONE”. There are acute upheavals taking place all around the world at the moment and we are all witnessing a monumental handover of power from the forces that “were”who are sometimes referred to as the Deep state or the cabal – to the forces of light.

Dearest ones, We are so close now, and life on Earth is on the cusp of transforming at a truly unprecedented rate. We can confirm that there are leaders in the geopolitical and military complex who genuine do have a ascending humanity’s greatest interests at heart, and who are working tirelessly at dismantling the old control structures, and paving the way for technologies that will instantly liberate humanity on every level.

The old ways of mind control and blatant manipulation of humanities consciousness is now in the final dismantling stages and for some this will appear chaotic and messy, but here we refer you very very strongly to the archetype of the tower card in the tarot major Arcana.

The tower represents all that is not solid or sustainable.

You are here to allow transformation. This is your function. Raised human, and taught in worldly terms, you are accustomed to depending on a perception of limits in order to experience a feeling that you call safety. You have allowed yourself to be taught that you are more comfortable bound than boundless. Are you willing to come to regard the boundless as your safety, and the safety of all?

When you think you have a worldly purpose, bound by time and physicality, think again. Is there any tension in forging ahead toward a worldly goal? What would it be like to move as a character through time and space with no tension, in a completely relaxed and open state? Can you think of yourself as being carried? Is it important to assert an individual will and and individual effort, and to what end? Any worldly desire you have is attached to your deepest desire for peace. Are you willing to be one with that peace right now?

You seem to be in the world, but you are not of it. The world is an invention, and you were not invented. You were created, and as such you are real. Your character was made, and as such is a fiction. If you have a willingness to allow all fictions to be used in the service of Truth, then there is no problem with having invented a fiction.

Your every-moment opportunity is to allow the perception of all limits to be washed away. A limit can be felt as tension. You are the unlimited, and so are all your fellows. Are you willing to see all others as unlimited and free? Our freedom is in harmony, not in aloneness and chaos. Our freedom means that nothing can limit or harm what we Are.

You can notice how thoughts occur about limits being safe. You associate a sense of being hemmed in with safety and stability. In the clear and open abundance of freedom, there is your safety. You can hunch down and feel small, and tell yourself that this is safety. Saying it doesn’t make it true, however.

Guidance that comes from freedom is always available to you. When guidance feels like a limit, it’s because you are hunching down into your smallness and calling that more comfortable.  Are you willing to step into openness and expansiveness? Are you willing to be shown that this apparent vulnerability is your true invulnerability?

It’s all about a perception change. Ask to see things as they truly are, and you will be shown.

Welcome to October 2019! As we begin the month of October, the cardinal energies are strong and potent. Cardinal signs( Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn) are all about: forward movement, willpower and initiation. We are ready to create and step into a new direction with faith and trust. There is a calmness in the air but beneath the surface, there are many hidden forces waiting to be revealed. This will become more apparent as we move later into the month.

On October 2nd/3rd, Pluto, the planet of: power, destruction and transformation, turns direct at 20 degrees of Capricorn. For the last 6 months, while in retrograde motion, Pluto has been revealing what hidden motives and structures needed to be healed and rectified. Intense emotions around control and power became apparent and hard to ignore. Now in direct motion, Pluto in Capricorn, wants to take those revelations and externalize them, into a solid foundation of truth and mastery. What was hidden could suddenly become visible and the dwarf planet, now direct, asks you to embrace and own a new source of divine wisdom and power.

Moving to mid- month, on October 13th, we have the Full Moon at 20 degrees of Aries. Full moons bring deep feelings to the surface and herald: completions, manifestations and endings. Aries, the 1st zodiac sign, is all about: strength, self- will, courage, passion and drive. The Full Moon in Aries will increase our desire to begin a new chapter in our emotional journey. There is a freshness of energy that wants to be created. Fiery and passionate displays are possible at this Full moon. There could also be the tendency for selfishness and childish like behavior, as these are the lower vibrations of the ram energy. Taking the bull by the horn and re-claiming our independence will be major themes of this Full Moon. We will need to make sure we are being objective and patient to balance out the heat and flames of this fiery full moon.

On October 23rd, the Sun, which represents our: vitality,ego and life force, shifts from the airy and balanced sign of Libra over to the watery and deep sign of Scorpio. Our senses are ready to go deeper and look below the surface to examine hidden truths and vibrations. Scorpio, the 8th zodiac sign is anything but surface level and is known for: depth, power, sexual prowess and transformation. On October 27th, we have the New Moon at 4 degrees of Scorpio. New moons signify: beginnings, initiations, and fresh starts. The Scorpio New Moon is all about getting real and diving deep into our hidden power. The phoenix wants to rise from the ashes. Being radically reborn is the main theme, and we are ready to passionately embrace our vulnerability. A depth of purpose is calling our name and the universe is urging us to begin again, this time, with nothing hidden and with brutal honesty. No hiding out with this powerful doozy new moon.

Finally, at the end of the month, on October 31st, Mercury, the planet of: the mind, communication, and contracts, turns retrograde at 27 degrees of Scorpio. Conversations of depth will now occur. Anything that has been hidden or repressed is likely to become known and acknowledged. We will be asked to go deep within and skeletons and people from the past could re-appear. Haywire with travel or business plans is likely at this time, so plan accordingly. Mercury retrograde in the deepest sign of the zodiac, will usher in an awakening of our inner mental powers, as well it is what is blocking these gifts. By the time he turns direct on November 20th, our minds would have gone through many little “deaths” in order to rise again, refreshed and transformed.

October 2019 is here to bring: balance, depth of purpose and powerful desires into our lives. The balance of intellect and instinct is strong this month. As we begin the month in the air element and end in the water element, things could at first, seem a bit foggy or unclear. Trust and patience within these transitions is important. We are ready to ground and at the same time, dig deeper to find hidden forces inside our soul. October 2019, wants you to not be afraid of your shadow. This month asks you to be compassionate and in a state of grace with your darker energies. This month is here to bring: balance between the light and the dark, the ability to rise again, and complete belief in the power of transformation.
