Ok, here my daily “dose” of Matt Kahn. In today’s short video he gets pretty deep pretty fast! He speaks of ultimate surrender. What’s “ultimate surrender”? Absolving yourself of ANY wrongdoing. Can I really do that…what if I’ve lied, or stolen…aren’t they “wrong”?

By societal standards… you have broken man-made laws. By religious standards…you have sinned and “fallen short” of the glory of god as perceived by human religious folk. But wait, you are God dressed in a human suit! If you need convincing, didn’t Christ tell us we are ALL the son’s and daughter’s of God? That means everything we do is God’s plan for us, because…we are all a portion of God!

In the divine plan, God knows all and IS all. Wait….how does he/she/it do or know all? Because God is actually us…each one of us ALL the time! He/she/it/God knows our pain or pleasure because we are God! For me, raised as a staunch Southern Baptist, this IS a tremendous understanding, or “belief system”, releasing me from guilt and fear because I haven’t been “perfect”! Hey wait…if I’m not in fear and longer, I can be in LOVE!

That’s what it’s all bout folks, finding and holding LOVE in your life for yourself, for me, and for ALL others, because we are all part of God playing the roles we are assigned! Don’t get me wrong…we ALL have free will to choose whatever and however we want to be, it’s simply that there are NO WRONG CHOICES! This is amazing and liberating for me and adds a new level of understanding behind the themes of spirituality I’ve read about “forgiving” yourself!
