If Turkey and Syria clean out eastern Syria then Russia and Iran have access to the Med as will China. This will complete a major link in China’s Silk Road Project. A major highway,high speed rail and pipelines for gas and oil will follow the route through Syria to the sea. From the Med to the Pacific.

Trump has refused to start a war with Iran and the Neocons have turned on him and ginned up this Impeachment debacle.
There are rumors of a USMC domestic deployment order.
