I found a pretty neat video today that means a lot to me, but will be quite upsetting to many because it presents some fallacies about the powerful emotion of LOVE. LOVE, the most powerful force in the Universe does NOT own anything…no buildings, no land, no people, it merely IS. Likewise, LOVE does not worship anything; that is, people who love God tend to worship and glorify God, thinking that God is better than they could ever be and a superior being that should be emulated, or copied. This means those worshipping are tactfully admitting God’s dominance over them. Does unconditional LOVE ever dominate?

Whoa! Does that mean I AM an atheist? Nah, but I DO believe in a great and creative force that is inside of ME! Of course, this idea goes against everything I have ever been taught about God and my relationship to him/her. My Southern Baptist upbringing taught me to LOVE Jesus as my own personal saviour. Other religious denominations preach that God is to be loved, emulated, or feared (or you’ll go to hell). They produce “rules” that must be followed faithfully in order to reach an afterlife worth living.

Folks generally shy away from discussing religion (and politics) because it is too stressful when others don’t agree and then force is used (verbal and physical) to make the dissenters change their minds. Why does this happen? Why can’t we all just believe what we like and go our own way merrily? It may be because we are programmed to believe that actions of adoration and worship are a necessary part of LOVE. You may want to reread my post, “Unconditional LOVE…What’s That?”. Can you imagine a god that expects to be worshipped, or a god that is better than anything, or anyone else? On Earth, kings are worshipped, but why…are they better than I? That idea just doesn’t make sense, either common sense or theological sense.

My god loves me unconditionally, no matter what I AM or what I do. My god is inside of ME and likes it just fine in there! My god gives me guidance through my emotional state and when I AM troubled, she’s trying to get me attention! Remember, your various emotions are tied to your various vibrational states and you create through the Law of Attraction, whether you like what you create or not.
