Enlightenment: What The World Needs NOW

What is enlightenment?

BuddhaFor the simplest explanation, enlightenment is the realisation and getting to know your true inner self. It does not require you to do anything, it does not involve you to be anything and it does not involve any special course or techniques. It is understanding what your true inner self and nature has to offer. Buddha taught “I am enlightened because I have realised that enlightenment is knowing that there is nothing you have to do to be enlightened.”

What Does Enlightenment Feel Like?

Many associate enlightenment with having some out of body or heightened experience, an external circumstance that gives us some kind of ‘extra’ or special experience. In reality this could not be further from the truth. To reach or attain enlightenment is to truly experience, discover and understand who we really are. To be aware of the great light that shines deep within, to be conscious of and delight in the present moment.

The journey of enlightened

The hardest thing most of us struggle with is present moment awareness. By practising this and being ‘in the moment’ we can start to understand what the great philosophers and thinkers are talking about. Without being present and experiencing the stillness and tranquillity of the moment it is very hard for us to be able to achieve a higher level of awareness and enlightenment. The process of letting go is possibly one of the most difficult things that we have to learn on our journey towards enlightenment. If we realise that everything passes, comes and goes, then we are much better placed to experience life by not resisting all it has to offer. It is our resistance that limits us to lives of suffering and constant craving.

How do I know if I am enlightened?

buddha2Enlightenment and awareness may differ from person to person. Enlightenment may show itself when you care more about others than yourself. It may come when you no longer feel the need to justify thoughts in your mind. It may come when you have given up seeking and are comfortable with where you are. It is in the understanding that you are compassionate, loving and unconditional in everything you do. By seeking to help others and encouraging them to find the way to enlightenment you too will benefit in your journey towards enlightenment.

Practice simply being in a calm, tranquil state. Meditation and yoga are both great ways to practice getting in touch with your inner self. We spend little time just being, we are too busy scurrying around looking for something to do. Just be, don’t do anything, look inside yourself and get to know who you really are. Stephen Levine in his 1979 book ‘A Gradual Awakening’ writes: “By clinging to things that we think we know or don’t know we block out deeper knowing. By letting go of everything – not through force, not by slaying it, but simply seeing all the content as a passing show, as process and flow – we become the whole of our experience and open to our natural understanding.”

He continues by saying, “The process of enlightenment can occur in two distinct ways. Like the steady growth of a tree towards the forest canopy it pushes its ways up through the undergrowth until it reaches the light. We too can slowly and gradually grow and mature until we come to the realisation that one day we will see the light and attain absolute clarity. On the other hand we may be suddenly woken from a deep slumber by a traumatic event or something that awakens our awareness. By being completely in the present moment and detached from all things, you are not relying on any external stimuli to be happy. Happiness, peace and contentment are generated from within.”

For the most part we live in a state of separation, we create thoughts and scenarios in our minds that do not represent reality. We create these realities that go toward deluding ourselves. In this world of constant struggle, we suffer, causing ourselves pain, frustration and isolation. To live free and enlightened is to release ourselves from these self-inflicted negative states of mind. We are free to do this at any time we choose, it is merely a matter of choice.

MESSAGE FROM THE ANGELS

My dear friends, we love you so very much,

There are no mistakes dear ones. There are no “wrong turns.” There is no such thing as being truly “lost” or “off the path.” In truth you are always connected to God. You are always loved. You are always guided. The question is not whether or not God loves you, or whether or not we love you. The question is simply, “Do you love yourself enough to slow down and receive what is always there for the taking?”

So when you feel lost, slow down. Breathe. Ask us for assistance and trust what comes to your heart. When you feel you have made what you consider to be a mistake, learn from it, release it, and move on. When you feel disconnected from God, stop. Choose to do something, anything, that helps you focus on love once again. Look a a picture you enjoy. Watch a show that makes you happy. Breathe and feel the air filling your lungs. Love is everywhere.

There are no wrong turns. There are no mistakes. There is never a time you can stray from God. The sun shines behind the clouds even in the worst storms. The love of the creator is there for you no matter what you have done or not done, said or not said, who you have been or not been. Will you receive it? Will you give yourself enough love to connect to the greater love? Dear ones, nothing can disconnect you. Your entire journey here upon the earth is to help you remember and experience this one simple, and yet deeply profound truth.

MESSAGE FROM THE ANN

Hi Everyone,

I’m laughing at the angels’ mention of “No Wrong Turns.” As you read llast week, I finally took a big road trip to see the glorious slot canyons in Northern, AZ. One of the things that kept me from doing it so long, in addition to the many other excuses I had, was a subtle fear of getting lost on the highways. I like taking off on my own but in doing that I have no one else with whom to confirm directions. I do not have a cell phone because I don’t need one, and I don’t have a car that talks to give me directions. So when I go anywhere I do things the old fashioned way. I print out maps and memorize the turns.

I was enjoying a beautiful sunrise drive on Route 66 north of Flagstaff, that turned into Highway 89. The pine forests gave way to grassy meadows. In time the highway was bordered by beautiful mountains on the Navajo reservation, and dotted by roadside stands, farm country, and the rare gas stations. I had wonderful songs blasting on my iPod and was deeply enjoying the scenery when I realized that I had driven over 100 miles and the turnoff to Page, AZ was supposed to be at the 82 mile mark. I could not, for the life of me, recall seeing an intersecting highway. I decided to drive farther to the next gas station since I couldn’t remember where the last one had been!

The highway snaked and rolled through beautiful countryside. Red rock mountains in the distance were dotted with white bands of what appeared to be limestone. A mixture of cactus and scrub brush carpeted the landscape. A house here, a church there, and just as I started getting nervous, I found myself crossing a beautiful huge bridge over a sapphire blue River into the entrance to Lee’s Ferry at Glenn Canyon, and the Vermillion Cliffs. I pulled the car over and started laughing! Just last week I had seen the Vermillion Cliffs online and made a mental note that I’d like to visit them “some day.” I had decided that including them into this weekend trip would be too much. Yet, here I was at 8:00am in the morning staring at these treasures!

I drove up to the lone Chevron gas station where the kind clerk informed me I had to drive back 40 miles to get to the turn-off to Page, AZ. Thanking the angels for waking me up early, I realized I’d make it to the canyons just in time to catch the perfect late morning light. In the meanwhile I fueled up the car, snapped some photos and finally turned around to continue to my original destination. No wrong turns indeed!

Of course, as I wrote last week, the trip was breathtaking and beautiful. Nature’s splendor and raw power held me in an awe-inspired embrace the entire time. And even though I drove over 630 miles in two days I was not at all tired. I was overjoyed!

The lessons weren’t over however! On the way home, Zippy, my car angel, reminded me I needed to take the car in for service as soon as I got back. Prior to the trip the car felt like it was wobbling. I had the tires checked and asked the angels if I’d be safe on the road. “Yes you’ll be fine but take me in right after you get back,” my car angel replied! A few days later at the repair shop, I was simultaneously appalled, and delighted to find out that my brakes were shot, my engine and transmission mounts had collapsed (which explained the wobble!), and there were a variety of other things wrong with the car. It was a HUGE repair bill but I have a credit card, thank God, and I was SAFE! Had I known all this before the trip I would have canceled it and missed my opportunity once again to do something I’d always wanted to do. No wrong turns… once again.

So when you think you’ve made a mistake, think again. Maybe you created a great lesson. Maybe you’re giving yourself a new opportunity. Maybe you’re really doing the right thing, but just not what you thought you wanted. Every opportunity is an opportunity to see love. I could have been frustrated with my first wrong turn and ruined my mood and my entire trip. Instead I saw divine synchronicity! I could have freaked out about the car problems and the scary-big bill, but instead I saw the Divine protection that I always pray for, and the grace I was given to enjoy the trip without worry. Every time we do something we think is “wrong” we can turn it around by seeing the love within it.

Try it this week – when you find yourself in a situation where you feel you’ve done or said the “wrong” thing, look for the love. “Seek and ye shall find. Knock and the door will be opened.” Have a blessed week.

Fran Zepeda – Love is Everything – 15 July 2014

Took a day off yesterday from posting as we had a guest for dinner last night and you know all the preparations that have to be made! So  now…it’s time for me to get back in the bloggin’ gruve!

Do you feel a sense of peace? I do! It’s kind of difficult to explain, but I AM at peace with a deep sense of knowing that all the toil, chaos, and tumult in the world, and in the lives of folks I see around me is going to…turn out “all right”. I don’t have any details, or any kind of specific knowledge about processes or timetables…I just know it’s going to be OK! I mark this feeling up to a sensing of inner knowledge from my higher self…I specifically asked my higher self to guide me through these troubled end times, and this is the feeling I have been given in return. Yes!

I’m not the only one feeling peaceful these days. Fran Zepeda is also calm, peaceful and living a life of LOVE and I hope you are feeling a sense of peace and calm despite the last anguishes of this earth. Go within and find LOVE in your heart as the high vibrations of LOVE are our only refuge in these times and a formidable ally against the dark forces determined to have their destructive and evil way with this planet and her population!

I bathe in it

As these words/feelings/knowings flowed out of me, I realize also that Perspective is everything, as is absorption ~ allowing LOVE to penetrate everything.

And I know now that it is also important to hold my dreams Alive within me and BE them, as Goddess Lakshmi recently transmitted to me in her message,”Prosperity Flows“. I aim to live her words, as well as that of Yeshua, Mother Mary, Lady Nada, Archangel Zadkiel, my Higher Self, Mary Magdalene, and all the Beings within me and around me.

Everything is easy when I am gentle and easy with myself, allowing myself to feel, notice and experience all Beauty around and within me.

I feel Lakshmi’s presence still, I still see her, as well as all the other Beings I connect with. And like when Yeshua, Mother Mary, Pallas Athena, Lady Nada, and others first came to me, I never knew who she was, testimony to the fact that help comes when we need it.

I constantly have a need and urging to see the Light, to BE Me, to know the Divine within. LOVE wells up within me, and I touch it again and again.

Worry and judgment and feelings of lack bring me out of the LOVE and Light, and so I go back into LOVE and Light, Acceptance and Abundance with fervor and touch it again ~ the Love, the Wholeness, the connection with Source and my guides and my Higher Self.

….Where everything is colored differently now.

“I flow through Life

As it flows through me;

I flow through LOVE

As it flows through me;

I AM ALL,

I AM Everything,

Everything is Me,

And so it is…”

I know now that with this perspective, my 3D Life and my 5D/6D life becomes seamless….

Many of you already know that I routinely post articles written by Marlene Swetlishoff, who channels Archangel Gabriel. Today, Archangel Gabriel provides a discourse of the aspect of LOVE that is called…obedience.

Wait a minute, the cabal, Illuminati, banksters all want us to be OBEDIENT to their laws , thus restricting us to their will. Is this is really LOVE…what gives?Nah…Archangel Gabriel want us to be obedient not to man-made laws, but rather to the loving urges of our heart, our souls. This concept of following your heart requires the freedom to do so…and that is in short supply these days!

Following your heart may be a difficult thing to do when you go against societal prerogatives, but in doing so, you will receive miracles of assistance from on-high… no doubt about it! The internal joy you feel will culminate in a real feeling of peace and relaxation. I can speak from experience on this topic as I feel great after losing my job and beginning volunteer efforts at the  local Senior Citizen Center. I AM sleeping better, and the ways I have found to cut back on expenses have added up to living a glorious lifestyle! We are eating fresh veggies from the garden tonight!

Let us have discourse on the quality of love called obedience. Obedience deals with all of life, but it also encompasses all of being human, both inside and out. Obedience is far more profound than simply refraining from transgressions against others. It also has to do with submitting one’s values, emotions, and heart to the divine guidance that speaks within them. It requires that each individual love the Creator with all their heart and with all their soul and with their mind. The Creator designed life to be lived a certain way. When an individual follows this way, life works better for them. Individuals pursuing spiritual growth feel as though they have come alive when they see that the Creator speaks to their emotional, personal, and relational lives as well as to their spiritual lives. Obedience in aligning to the universal laws leads to good things for each individual as they travel down the spiritual path of life and they reap many benefits because they choose to obey these universal laws.

Obedience means to be Creator directed, not self directed, and it is central to spiritual growth. Each individual knows they are safe when they are acting on the will of the Creator, even though it does not mean being always comfortable and even though it does not mean always smooth sailing. They still put their faith and trust in the guidance being shown to them. When they follow the spiritual life they look upon this obedience of responsibility and duty as a divine opportunity for growth and expansion. It is a conscious recognition of a higher life, a higher reality and a higher dimension that they aspire to which represents the achievement of true knowledge. They walk along the path of truth, light and beauty. When they obey the higher principles, the higher law, they come to realize that they are living eternally in the eternal Now.

From the spiritual point of view, obedience in an individual means their self giving to the illumined consciousness of the Creator. The individual consciousness – one’s personal consciousness that individuals embody, can be limited, but the individual can still offer their personal life to something that is universal in scope and as they do this, the limitation becomes universal and unlimited. They understand that they are a divine spark of light in an unending ocean of divine potential and that if they are in need, their need will be fulfilled from the oneness of this vast ocean of infinite potential. Even if the individual does not have the proper knowledge, attitude or skill, if they obey the guidance within them, it will enable them to attain the knowledge they need to fulfill the purpose of their life and how to attain it, sometimes against all odds.

When each individual employs spiritual obedience, they are safe from the dangers in life. Their spiritual guidance knows ahead of time the danger they will pass through in life and how to warn them and rescue them from it. Listening obediently to this guidance helps them to live a life filled with grace and unexpected miracles. Their lives flow in harmony, peace, safety, and with happy experiences. Obedience is a spiritual discipline. It is training for the mind. It builds up character. It teaches individuals self-restraint and humility and the art of listening to the still small voice of conscience that is within them which reminds them to stay in their own highest integrity when the temptation to stray from it presents itself. They strive to develop the possibilities of the spiritual gifts within them that seem to blossom forth when they adhere to their inner obedience to the universal laws.

What remains essential to the delivery of the Creators love on Earth in these times is humanity’s free will choice to listen and obey. The still small voice within them guides each individual to enjoy a more meaningful and useful life. People need a sense of useful purpose, they need to work with the angels doing heaven’s work, making miracles and accomplishing wonders. Each individual is called to do beautiful things for others and the sense of joy fills and floods the hearts of those who follow and obey that still small voice which prompts them to act on their loving impulses. This obedience in turn, causes a lightness of heart within them and within those who are on the receiving end. Let each individual live boldly, rich in love and joy, let them surf the waves of divine love impulses to ever higher levels of joy. Through this quality of love called obedience, the loving energy they send out to others returns from all directions, building strength, bliss and empowerment within!

I take my leave calling each member of the human family to live in obedience to the promptings of divine love impulses that arise from within their own divinity.
