2019 is Preparing us for a Wave of Ascension Energy in 2020 ~ May 16, 2019

2020 carries some of the most potent cosmic energy we have seen in a long time and this is mainly due to the alignment of Pluto and Saturn, which peaks in January 2020.

The alignment of these two planets is going to set the tone for the entire year and our soul, along with Planet Earth is going to be learning how to harmonize with this ultra potent energy.

There are so many significant alignments and transits happening in 2020, however in this article, I want to focus more on how 2019 is preparing us for this new wave of energy.

What is coming in 2020 feels like a huge opportunity to ascend into higher levels of consciousness. The vibration of the planet is going to be shifting and rising, and as this energy draws closer, our spiritual growth will be accelerated.

This is a huge ascension and awakening process, but like all processes of moving into the light, there has to be some darkness as well.

2020 is not necessarily about wading through the darkness in order to “fix” it, instead it is about rising above it. It is about raising ourselves so high that the darkness has no choice but to fall away.

The darkness is too heavy to carry into this new wave of being, so we have to unpack and let it go, in order to harmonize with the planet and the cosmos. And, the time to begin shedding, assessing, and evaluating is in 2019, for when 2020 rolls around, the time to rise would have already begun.

Now is the time to release, now is the time to unpack, now is the time to think about what you can shed and let go of in order to move into the new, and many of the cosmic alignments in 2019 are pointing to this.

If we take the first five months of 2019 so far, we can see a pattern emerging. From January to May, time has been speeding up as we have experienced a string of potent Full Moons.

In January we had a Blood Moon Eclipse, followed by a trio of Super Moons. We also had two Full Moons falling in the same sign back to back, and a Seasonal Blue Moon.

All of these unusual Full Moons reveal a deeper theme from the Universe. We are being called to release, we are being called to let go, and this process is being accelerated.

While it’s always a good idea to release the things that weigh us down and hold us back, this is not just about releasing your old boyfriend or your negative self-talk. This is deeper and perhaps you have been feeling it as 2019 moves further along.

Under this energy, we are slowly being called to shed and peel back the layers of society and of life as we know it.

This is about allowing everything you know to crumble. This is about surrendering to all that you think you are and all that you have been. This is about letting go of not just your past but also your future.

This is about shedding and releasing everything you have ever believed, desired, dreamed, or wanted. This is about total surrender.

Everything is up for questioning. Everything is up for review. Everything you ever thought or believed in is going to be challenged. Some things will stick, some things will remain the same, but others will have to be shed, released, transformed, and done away with.

Who you thought you were is changing, and the world is changing too.

Whatever is brewing in 2020 is not happening overnight. These changes, these upgrades, these waves of energy have been bubbling in the undercurrent of our lives, and while we may not see the full outcome or direction till 2020, we are being prepped right now.

The most significant months for this preparatory work come in March 2019, September-October 2019, and in December 2019. These are the months to pay close attention and to see where you are being called to change, to release, to awaken, and to step into more of your authentic self.

These are the months where you will be able to get a small taste of what is to come on both a global and personal level.

While we are being called to empty ourselves, so too is Planet Earth. We may see changes in the economy, in government and politics, and the environment. We may also see changes in how we approach love, motivation, fame, and success as a society.

As Saturn and Pluto are the main players in this energy, we may also see issues arise when it comes to power, structure, and order.

While I don’t believe its entirely possible to predict what is exactly going to happen on a political or global level, we can look to the past to help us see what has happened under similar astrological alignments.

2020’s energy is unique, but if we look back through world events, a common thread seems to be an abuse of power, whether this is through wars, recessions, or revolutions.

While an “abuse of power” can manifest in many different ways and can even take on different meanings, this is a classically what we have seen.

While there may be an abuse of power in some capacity or issues relating to an abuse of power, it also means that there is a change of power in the works as well.

When abuse comes into play, it is only a matter of time before something is done to change, correct, or fix the situation, and hopefully, in this case, it can be resolved for the better.

The alignments of 2020 will trickle into 2021, so who knows when we will see the major changes manifest, but the effects of whatever happens is likely to be long-lasting.

While we may see things playing out on the world stage that is of concern, on an energetic level, this is a time where we can really ascend and separate ourselves from the heaviness of the old ways of thinking.

This is a time where we can lift ourselves up, not to be free of darkness necessarily, but so we can enter into a lighter and more authentic state of being.

A channelled message from my heart to yours:

Rise up, rise up. This our time to shine. Your soul was destined to be on this Earth at this time for these waves of ascension. You knew it was coming and you are ready for this. Keep lifting yourself higher, keep accepting and owning yourself, for that is key.

Lifting higher is not about removing all negativity and never making a mistake, it is about being real. It is about owning the human experience in all its many facets.

Own the good stuff and the bad, know that life is just a game to be had. There really is no beginning or end, life is not all there is, but for the short time that we are here, it is our duty to make the best of it, the most of it, and to honor it for all it can do.

Life in all its definitions brings amazing things to this world and to the next, so get living.

New Moon In Libra: Intensity In Relationships ~ October 9, 2018

We are having a New Moon in Libra on October 9th, 2018 at 3:47am Universal Time. This is initiating a 29.5 day Lunar cycle and a new wave of energy for the coming month. This cycle will peak at the Full Moon in Taurus that is occurring on October 24th.

The Sun entered the Libra (of the tropical zodiac) at the previous Equinox on September 22nd/23rd. As an air sign, it is social and intellectual. Libra is about all types of relationships, as well as balance, fairness, equality, compromise, harmony, and diplomacy. As a Venus ruled sign, it is also associated with beauty, aesthetics, creativity, and appreciation of art.

Libra is about consideration and cooperation, however, because of this it can also be indecisive and lack direct action. It is still an initiating energy because it is a Cardinal sign, yet it mainly initiates socially, intellectually or anything to do with relating. Libra can be ‘people pleasing’ which can also translate as superficiality and fakeness.

Venus, Ruler of Libra, Is Now Retrograde

Venus went retrograde on October 5th/6th which will last until November 16th. Retrogrades are a time to revisit, reflect on, and make adjustments to things represented by that planet. Venus rules all of the same things associated with Libra (as mentioned) and also rules over money, values, sensuality, femininity, and pleasures.

With Venus just beginning its retrograde just prior to the New Moon, this really emphasizes a shift a potential for changes and re-orientation regarding Venus-Libra areas of life throughout this Lunar cycle, yet will still play out in the month following. New Moon Conjunct Ceres and Square Pluto, Venus Square Mars

This New Moon is aligned with Ceres, once classified as an asteroid but now considered a dwarf planet by astronomers. It is a feminine energy associated with nurturing, mothering, unconditional love, fertility, family, food,agriculture, sustainability, as well as the rhythms and cycles of womanhood.

Ceres is also associated with grief, loss, and separation. It can be about destroying to regain what was lost. Ceres has become increasingly used in astrology over the last decade and this is reflected in the shifts society is experiencing around women’s issues/rights, as well as both the constructive and destructive aspects of modern day feminism.

This New Moon and Ceres are both in a square with Pluto. This can bring Plutonian energy to Libran and Ceres themes mentioned above. It can be transformative, purging, renovating, regenerating, deep, powerful, sexual, and evolutionary.

However, it is a tense square which increases the potential of the more challenging qualities which can be intense, obsessive, compulsive, manipulative, secretive, dark, destructive, fearful, vengeful, and can trigger jealousy, power struggles, or reveal hidden matters. This energy is strongest from October 11th-12th, but it builds up leading up to those dates.

Venus retrograde is in the Plutonian sign of Scorpio while also  in a square with Mars which is strongest October 10th/11th. This reinforces some of the same themes regarding that square with Pluto. This can be  passionate when it comes to matters of love, or even socially and creatively. However, it can also stimulate tension and conflict.

Mercury is also in an opposition with Uranus on the same day, and this combined with Venus square Mars can trigger impulsive spending of resources. This can also reflect stimulating communications, ideas, and innovative thinking. However, this can make it harder for us to focus our minds, and there can also be some sort of disruptions or potential separations.

Mars Direct, August 2018 ~ Burst of Inspiration ~ August 27, 2018

There has been so much going on in the cosmos lately that you may have not remembered that Mars, the planet of action and motivation, has been moving retrograde.

Mars retrogrades only every two or so years, so when it happens we tend to feel it strongly.

After several months in retrograde, Mars is now moving direct on August 27th and will not go retrograde again until September 2020.

Whenever a planet goes retrograde, its energy expresses itself in a more internal way rather than an external way, almost like the energy of the planet is filtering through us on the deepest of layers.

While Mars has been working on our deeper layers, we may not have always been conscious of what exactly it was trying to teach us. But now, as Mars moves direct and starts rising to the surface, into our conscious mind a little more, we are going to get to see just what messages and insights Mars has for us.

Whatever inner work Mars has been doing is going to be revealed, and it is likely we are going to be able to take this new information and use it to push forward in our lives.

Because Mars is all about taking action and getting motivated, whatever new insights rise to the surface are going to help us to make some much needed progress.

2018 has really been a stop and go year, and although this theme is going to continue, Mars going direct will bring a new wave of energy and a burst of inspiration.

After months of being held back we are finally going to feel supported to move forward and take the actions we have been wanting to make.

New inspirations may find us and we may even find that projects we started back in June receive a new life or a new burst of energy.

In fact, if you have been working on something and struggling to get it off the ground, or if life events that came your way around June are still lingering, you may find that Mars turning direct delivers that final push.

To help activate this energy, consider bringing new life or making some changes to whatever projects you have been struggling to get off the ground. Look for new inspiration and perhaps open your mind to think about things differently.

By making some changes and tuning into the lessons of Mars retrograde, it will help you to get your projects moving forward with more speed and ease.

Mars retrograde is really the Universe reminding us to slow down and relax. In this go-go world, we forget to sometimes pause and reflect on what we are doing and where we are heading.

Sometimes we just keep going and going without really stopping to reflect on where our actions are leading us. Sometimes we just follow the crowd because it is the easy thing to do.

When Mars retrograde comes along, we are reminded that our actions have consequences and at any time, we can choose to take a different path and make different choices.

We don’t have to go with the tried and true path, instead we can listen to the call of our own soul and take action in the direction that speaks to us the most.

Mars retrograde is a time for all of us to reflect on whether our actions are walking us towards the life we desire or away from the life we desire.

Once Mars goes direct it will be business as usual once again, but if we can open to what this retrograde energy was trying to teach and show us, and make a few changes and tweaks based on the guidance we have received, we may just find that we are able to achieve our dreams quicker and with more ease.

Pay attention to what unfolds within the days that Mars turns direct for clues on what actions the Universe is guiding you to take.
