Hallelujah – Pentatonix ~ Nov. 19, 2016

Now, ya’ll know I was a music student in my youth, and a vocalist at that. But, my spirit moved my into Medical Technology which is how I make my living today. But…my appreciation for the vocal talent has not died. Let’s read what Wikipedia has to say about this group…

“Pentatonix (often abbreviated as PTX) is an American a cappella group from Arlington, Texas, consisting of five vocalists: Avi Kaplan, Scott Hoying, Kirstin Maldonado, Kevin Olusola, and Mitch Grassi.[1] Their work, which is mostly in the pop style, consists of covers of existing songs, sometimes in the form of medleys, along with their original material. Their music is defined by their own arrangement style, tight vocal harmonies, extensive vocal riffing, deep and steady vocal basslines, and a diverse range of vocal percussion and beatboxing.”

And so, I thought you might like this video which sorta describes humanities current state of feeling. So…take a listen, know that we are loved beyond belief, and…

Love Signal ~ Nov. 1, 2016

singing-plant

Very neat! Cobra has released a simple video that should have HUGE implications on whoever hears these sounds. A plant, obviously in a forest in the Damnhur alpine foothills of Italy, gets wired, and voila…we get music made by plants!

Is this behind the idea that all things are actually living creatures of vibration? These plants were exposed to 2 weeks of classical music beforehand, and now are exhibiting their thoughts in to sound. Could sound be the Language of Love understood ultimately by ALL?

So…go hug a tree, or better yet…have a conversation with your favorite houseplant, look for positive results, and…
