New Moon in Gemini, June 2018 ~ Lucky Stars ~ June 12, 2018

By astrologyking

The New Moon on Wednesday June 13, 2018 is located at 22° Gemini. The New Moon June 2018 astrology is a good news story. Its uncomplicated by any planetary aspects but heavily influenced by no less than eight fixed stars. This is the busiest part of the sky for major fixed stars and the new moon lands right in the middle of it. In fact, it bisects two of the most fortunate stars in this group that are separated by only 0°20′.

The June 2018 New Moon brings good fortune and lasting happiness. It provides protection for you and your loved ones. A New Moon is a good time to set new goals so this is an especially good new moon to start a new project. The stars in particular give the skills needed to do well in business.

New Moon Meaning

A new moon represents the end of one cycle and the beginning of another new 28 day cycle. Sun conjunct Moon gives an invigorating burst of energy and initiative. So this is an excellent time for making a fresh start, turning over a new leaf, or starting a new project. You can also question old habits, behaviors and beliefs as you search for new and inventive ways to make progress.

The effects of the June 13 New Moon will last four weeks up to the July 12 Solar Eclipse. The best time for making a fresh start and for beginning new projects is during the first two weeks of this new moon cycle. This waxing phase of the Moon lasts from June 13 to the June 28 Full Moon.

New Moon June 2018 Astrology

The June 13 new moon at 22°44′ Gemini falls right in the middle of the busiest part of the sky for fixed stars. In fact, the new moon is conjunct 8 major fixed stars in 4 Constellations from 21° to 25° Gemini. There is one minor planetary aspect to the new moon. However, Sun quincunx Pluto is over 2° orb and Pluto is a minor planet. So I doubt its influence will be felt, especially considering the incredible amount of energy coming from all the stars listed below.

New Moon June 2018 Astrology

New Moon June 2018 Astrology

New Moon June 2018 lies exactly between Mintaka and El Nath, being 0°10′ from each. Mintaka has the strongest influence on the New Moon because the Moon is already passed over it. The full potential of Mintaka is unleashed by the new moon but the potential of El Nath has yet to be fully developed.

New Moon in Orion’s Belt

Fixed star Mintaka in the Belt of Orion gives good fortune and protection to yourself and loved ones. According to Robson, the Sun and Moon with Mintaka portends good fortune, lasting happiness and notoriety. It makes people discreet, cautious, somewhat changeable, active, sharp, and alert in business. It also gives a public position, many enemies more successful in business, blindness of at least one eye, new and influential friends, valuable gifts, and love of respectable women. [1]

In addition, Orion’s Belt gives strength, energy, industry, organizing abilities, and a good memory. [1] Noonan says it makes people “passionately devoted to hunting, but not noble hunting with falcon or bow”. [2] Constellation Orion gives a strong and dignified nature, self-confidence, inconstancy, courage, arrogance, rebellion, violence, impiety, prosperity in trade and particularly by voyages or abroad, but danger of treachery and poison. In mundane astrology this is the constellation of war, very harmful to cattle and productive of storms. [1] [2]

New Moon in the Bull’s North Horn

Fixed star El Nath gives fortune, eminence and neutrality for good or evil. According to Robson , a new moon conjunct El Nath will give business success, honor through science, religion or philosophy, but also quarrels with questionable associates, and detriment due to wife, partner or relative. [1] Constellation Taurus heralds the results of the beginnings of large political undertakings. Its associated with wild animals, especially those of danger to man. [2]

More Stellar influence

Fixed star Capella in the Charioteer is the brightest of the eight stars so will have a strong influence on the New Moon. After all, is it only 0°38′ behind the Sun and Moon. It is also the most fortunate of these stars and gives honor, wealth, eminence, renown, a public position of trust and eminent friends. It makes people careful, timorous, inquisitive, very fond of knowledge and particularly of novelties. [1] Ebertin said it gives a love of learning, studiousness and interest in research. It also makes people somewhat odd, giving a persistent, annoying and inquisitive curiosity. [4]

According to Robson, a new moon conjunct Capella will make people inquisitive, vacillating, changeable, too loquacious, sarcastic, quarrelsome, misunderstood and criticized. It gives martial honor, wealth and many journeys and voyages, but also quick and indiscreet speech, domestic disharmony, danger to sight, and liability to accidents. [1]

There are two more stars in Orion’s Belt that have a similar influence to Mintaka but they are less fortunate. Fixed star Al Hecka is the other Horn of the Bull associated violence, male violence and danger of accidents. However, this star is further away from the more favorable North Bulls Horn which will dominate. Fixed star Bellatrix is the female warrior star and less fortunate but further away than Mintaka, El Nath and Capella. Apparently it makes women loquacious and shrewish, and gives a high-pitched, hard and sharp voice. Last but not least, fixed star Phact is the Dove that brings good news, charity, kindness, hopefulness and good fortune.

Donald Trump was born on June 14, 1946 and his Sun is conjunct all these stars under 1°50′ orb. Amplified by the new moon conjunct the Sun in his solar return chart, these fortunate stars mean he should have a good year ahead professionally.
