Although holidays are generally more focused on materialism and certain traditions, the root of this season is a return to the light aside from the religious connections, we are honoring a re birth or birth of the light. 
In whatever way you choose spend this day, may you find peace, joy and a reflection of all that transpired for you for this year.
We are finishing up this last week of this wild and transformative year. It has been eye opening, challenging, beautiful and at times a very bumpy ride for all. Give thanks to all the tests that you have undergone, you made it through.. And although life is never free of tests, we are moving into a new space, and December has cleared out all of our cobwebs, so we can be fresh and ready to start anew. All that happened for you this year set the stage in order to build the foundation for the new year, a year where you will step out into the light to offer something completely different and new. Have you been sensing this build as this month pans out. The energy of 2018 is already here and it will be very different from what we have gone through this year. We have just moved through a powerful doorway of the winter solstice and are now officially out of Mercury Retrograde, also Saturn has changed signs, so all universal signals are moving toward go. So appreciate these final moments of reflection and balance, because you will be called to step up in a way you have never done before…..
