Aries & Aries Rising

Aries, August celebrates your ability to take up space. All of us can be “too much”, at times, but there are moments that call for a little more of us to come forth than others. This is one of them. August 6th to 14th is an especially auspicious pocket of days for you to put your creations out into the world, travel, publish your latest piece, or create whatever brings you and others joy. The skies are enthusiastically supportive of everything that you wish to bring into being, especially if it has to do with pleasure. Center it. Seek joy. Enjoy what you can when you can.

Taurus & Taurus Rising

Taurus, August encourages you to love up your inner life. It wants you to invite over the people who bless your space with their energy (and refuse entry to those that do not). It wants you to decorate your boudoir with all the things that help you feel alive and luxurious. Dress in lingerie, loungewear, and diva duds. Be the queen of your castle. Polish your crown. Salt your baths and the rim of your glass. Sweeten your sentiments to yourself, and your domestic dwellings, there is much healing that can happen here through acts of pleasure, devotion, and love. Whatever has been left hungry in your heart, can now be filled up with a little extra focus on letting love, and joy, in.

Gemini & Gemini Rising

Gemini, August gets you on the go. With a bounty of beautiful messages and sentiments to spread, you either become the bearer of good news or welcome in many. The more you are out and about, the better chance you have to bump into good fortune, especially between August 6th and 14th. Send love notes. Text your people your appreciation.

Call the cousins, aunties, and fairy goddess in your life and tell them how much they mean to you. Any way you can, amplify your affection for others. You can’t take back any words you’ve used that have caused harm in the past, but you can make the effort to right those wrongs in the present. This is that moment.

Cancer & Cancer Rising

Cancer, August wants to fill your accounts with the blessings that can only come from loving what you do and being loving while you do it. The more you refuse to devalue the currency of kindness, the more wealth you’ll experience. Your special talent is being able to hone in on the needs of others and serve accordingly. This ability is bumped up come August, bringing with it rewards for your good deeds.

These boons may be financial or they may appear as opportunities to get in on some good work. However, more important than either is remembering that how you do what you do makes a difference in the world. A little bit of care goes an incredibly long way.

Leo & Leo Rising

Leo, this August brings you more than the regular birthday blessings. The abundance of, or potency within, the opportunities that currently light your way, don’t happen every day. You can spend this cosmic currency by simply reveling in all of the abundant pleasures that come your way, or you can channel it into something long-lasting and possibly highly rewarding.

There’s no right or wrong way to live this out, and the best path is probably down the middle of them both. Enjoying what you make, give, and exchange with the world is a set up for your success. August 6th through to te 14th reveal the best of this magic, but if you use it wisely, it is just the beginning.

Virgo & Virgo Rising

Virgo, August makes clear how potent internal preparation can be. Preparation that has no expectation. Preparation that has no preconceived notion of what will come next. Preparation that opens you up to possibility, instead of closing you down with the poison of entitlement.

August 6th through 14th are days that have the power to bring you gifts that have been hidden until now. Secret admirers are revealed, or a feeling of inner wealth independent of anything else appears. By the time Virgo Season rolls around, you are well primed for a year of breakthroughs and exciting, out of the blue opportunities.

Libra & Libra Rising

Libra, August has your social calendar set. Whether is full to the brim, or pleasantly complete with a couple of blessed meet-ups, it matters not. Don’t let the ego’s need for quantity rule over soulful quality. Make time for those that leave you inspired to give more, love more, and leave more for others to enjoy. The most generous of your community members have the most to teach you. Those that know an open heart is a healthy one help you to focus your intentions there.

This month wants to drive home the message that being around those that bring you joy helps you overcome your self-defeating habits with greater ease and efficiency. Pleasure is a practice. Get on its mat.

Scorpio & Scorpio Rising

Scorpio, August burns bright with many career highlights. It’s a month full of opportunities that flow your way with great ease and abundance. It’s time that teaches you about the true nature of generosity. It asks you to give exactly what you wish to receive without any need for celebration for doing so. Don’t get me wrong, there is much about your work that will be uplifted (especially August 6th through 14th), many victories to be had, but the more you show up as a professional who is here to give rather than get, the more others see you as the leader you want to be in your field. Approaching your place in the world this way is a spiritual cleansing, and blessing, like no other. Give yourself that gift.

Sagittarius & Sagittarius Rising

Sagittarius, August unleashes a new level of your creative potential. 2019 has been begging you to take up more space in general but specifically helping you to do so in ways that heal what would rather have you shrink. This is no time to play it small (especially August 6th – 14th), but your expansion needs to be for soulful reasons.

Merely amassing more won’t satiate you. What this moment calls for is the kind of thoughtful growth that encourages more pleasure to be present in your life. Travel can help you access unusual sources of inspiration, but you don’t have to move in order to get there. You’re set up to feel especially free no matter where you find yourself.

Capricorn & Capricorn Rising

Capricorn, August brings blessings through collaborations. Your partnerships become the vehicles for many gifts to flow your way, do what you can to open to them. Notice where you might be a little more shut down, or closed off when it comes to receiving the bounty that comes your way because you didn’t create it on your own. Notice when and where you tend to become identified with over-work and being busy. Notice what it’s like to take a moment out of your day to meditate on allowing more support to flow to you. Help (especially from August 6th- 9th) comes from the most unexpected sources, so gift horses should only be looked at lovingly.

Aquarius & Aquarius Rising

Aquarius, August brings breakthroughs and blessings in your relationships and committed partnerships. From August 6th through the 14th, a social portal opens up for you that gives you access to copious amounts of creatively inspired connections. Show up for them. Seek out those you resonate with most. Get to the party. Be open to spontaneous gatherings with good-hearted honeys. People doing the kind of work on themselves that ultimately leads to a grounded, and pervasive sense of well-being are worth the effort to be around. Surrounding yourself with those that are generous, kind, and unwilling to restrain the talent that runs through them will help you do the same.

Pisces & Pisces Rising

Pisces, August showers your professional projects with success. It’s not out of the blue, or apart from anything that you deserve, but your hard work now has more ability to help you shine in your industry. August 6th through the 14th is an especially potent week for your career and revelations about it. Whether you are vacationing or at the office, keep attuned to the messages you get about the growth of your business, ideas, and professional interests. What comes to you now might be as obvious as a promotion or a subtle as a whisper, but both are trying to direct you towards what will make you feel successful now.

Horoscopes for the New Moon in Leo ~ August 1, 2019

Here are horoscopes for the first two weeks of August 2019, starting with the New Moon in Leo. Your New Moon in Leo Horoscopes are meant to be read as inspiration. If you know both your rising sign and sun sign, please read both horoscopes. They both contain important information. You’ll know which resonates more for you. Take what works for you, leave the rest. If you want to share this work, you must quote it and link it to this post and website. Thank you for your support and for spreading the work, we really appreciate it and you!

July 31

8:12 PM PT – New Moon at 8° Leo

Mercury stations direct at 23° of Cancer

Leo is courageous. A queen. A king. Regal and resplendent. A magnanimous leader governing the heart and ruled by the sun. When we choose to lead with benevolence, scarcity fails.

The new moon in Leo arrives on July 31st, opening us up to a season that amplifies themes of generosity, abundance, and optimism. This is the kind of astrology that rapidly expands our potential and demands that we share our good fortune. The new moon reminds us of the expansiveness only possible when we know how to celebrate the wins of those that surround us.

Success is to be shared.

This new moon is calling us all to be the leaders we need in the world. It reminds us that love in action leaves no room for supremacy to fester. Our soul’s purpose is so much grander than the small-mindedness of greed and exclusion. The little egos among us that make up inhumane laws and evil chants of injustice to keep their privilege in place need to be consistently and diligently interrupted. Day in. Day out.

As the new moon in Leo resets itself, Mercury also stations direct. This is a lovely gift after the emotional wringer that Eclipse Season put us through. The rest of the astrology of the lunar cycle asks us to live a little more fully then we might. Breaking with the traditions that keep us subdued is how we can unlock our creative currency.

Complacency is not an option now. The bountiful astrology of August is a fairy god-mother – fleeting, but fully willing to work with us for this moment.

August 2

Venus in Leo square Uranus in Taurus, both at 6°

While today’s astrology might shake up our relationship dynamics, a deeper truth about our intimacy issues comes loose. This astrology reminds us that taking risks and breaking the molds of convention is what it takes to feel alive. Connections may be disrupted, but any truth about them that comes to consciousness is actually our good fortune. In the coming days, Venus makes one of the best aspects it can, a trine to Lady Luck Jupiter on August 8th. The challenges we encounter quickly turn into great gifts that we get to unpack and unwrap over the next couple of weeks.

August 7

Sun in Leo trine Jupiter Rx in Sagittarius, both at 14°

Exuberant doesn’t even describe today’s set up. The sun and Jupiter, both in their own sign, make a trine to one another. This is a stellar setup. As Venus and Jupiter slowly build up to making contact in the heavens, we can make many things multiply here on earth. Be selective though. Miracle grow isn’t good for every garden.

August 8

Venus in Leo trine Jupiter Rx in Sagittarius, both at 14°

As Jupiter stations direct, the two most helpful planets in the sky team up to bring us an abundance of beauty, connection, and an intense desire for pleasure-filled pursuits. This is an astrological mark of fortune, best used when you share yours. Generosity makes more of everything.

August 11

Jupiter stations direct at 14° Sagittarius

Mercury enters Leo, where it remains until August 29, 2019

Uranus stations retrograde at 6° of Taurus. Remains retrograde until January 10, 2020

Today two planets change direction, signaling a shift. Out-of-the-blue-windfalls may accompany it, some extremely fortunate, some a little disruptive, all exciting in their own way.

As Jupiter stations direct it signals the last quarter of its cruise through Sagittarius. We only have until December to work with this powerful placement. Now that it is direct, that work is done with much greater ease. The part of our chart that contains Sagittarius will benefit from it the most.

As Uranus stations retrograde, it slowly overturns the terra it has traversed while in Taurus. Today pulls focus on what is generative (Jupiter stationing direct) and what is unpredictable (Uranus stationing retrograde). Those of you with planets between 2°-6° of Taurus will feel this the most. As the deity of great upheaval goes back and forth over this small piece of ground it leaves no stone unturned and no talent latent. Be prepared to put your resources to work and they’ll pleasantly surprise (if not shake up) your world.

August 13

Sun conjunct Venus in Leo at 20°

For the next couple of days, Venus travels with the sun, helping us heal aspects of our identity. Feelings attractive is an inside job. The more you can love on yourself, the more space you leave for others to do the same. Focus on pleasure in all your endeavors. This isn’t necessarily a nose to the grindstone aspect and it may have you yearning for more free time to enjoy life, so grant yourself some if and when you can.

Aries & Aries Rising

To the best of my ability, I make room for joy. I defend my right to it. I guard it against being overtaken with the many distractions of the world. I know that being able to be playful is a privilege – one that fear, insecurity, and sorrow swallow when given the chance. There have been many times, a million moments, where I couldn’t access what felt good. When I’ve had to spend all of my energy surviving. When I was worn out by just trying to get through the day. Whatever distance I have from pain, I promise to pursue what brings me healing so that I have more space for hope.

One moment of pleasure can rewire my entire system, so I treat it as my most sacred of medicines.

With this new moon, I plant the seeds for future joy to spring forth. I clear what clutters my path to it. I make no exceptions for those that say one thing and do another. I have no patience for anyone that takes what they want from me but offers little to nothing in return. I make sure that I don’t follow those that lead with only their needs in mind. With this new moon, I recommit to my growth through the most enjoyable avenues available. With this new moon, I remember that my prosperity is made more bountiful when shared with the world around me.

Taurus & Taurus Rising

Without a firm foundation, it’s hard to feel abundant. Without a place to land, it’s more challenging to help the good things in my life grow into their potential. Without knowing the places and spaces where I am valued, it’s hard to know where to root.

I know that my rise can only be as high and wide as I can dig into myself.

With this new moon, I make space to plant seeds for my future unfolding. Getting my inner life in order means spending a little quality time with me – and those that know how to respect my space. I protect my energy by letting only love and appreciation into my inner chambers. My physical and energetic homes have to honor as the temples they are. With this new moon, I dust off my shelves, sort through my drawers, and shine up my mirrors.

Self-love is the fairest of them all.

With symbols of protection hung on my doors and altars to love and healing laid out for my gods, I know that the number one law of abundance is making space for it, so with this new moon, I do.

Gemini & Gemini Rising

My words are the magic with which I cast my spells. I know their power and wield them wisely. I respect their potency and spend their currency with consideration. I don’t waste them on those that refuse to listen. I’d rather spend my energy encouraging the seeds of potential I have planted. With this new moon, I consciously cultivate the sentiments that encourage abundance to flow. I communicate in ways that open up avenues for healing. I speak often and with great appreciation about the opportunities that have yet to come but are well on their way. I relay messages that encourage and support mutual growth.

If I’m gonna win, my twins are too.

With this new moon, I begin the writing projects I want to see in the world or infuse old ones with new energy. I know that it takes courage to cut ties with convention. If one of my projects needs new energy, life, or a lift, it probably means that I need to try something new. With this new moon, I risk my comfort for the truth. I rise to the challenge of being the bearer of real news. I welcome the upset of those that wish I’d toe the line instead of coloring outside it.

Cancer & Cancer Rising

I magnetize the materials I need to build my dreams. I cleanse my mind of toxic ideas about amassing wealth for my gain alone. I clear my heart of the misconceptions that I need to cling to, hold on to, or hoard attention and societal recognition.

I know that the more I share, the more I have.

I make space for what is honestly abundant in my life. Cheap renditions of affluence are no match for the power of generosity. I know that I have been gifted with a bank of goodwill and I plan on spending every cent of it before I leave this earth. I know that I have been given every tool I could ever need and I plan on putting them to the best use. I know that if I don’t focus on innovating how I do my work, I won’t feel alive when I do it. In order to experience abundance, I have to know what things in life can be risked abundantly. My pride, my ego, and any feelings of superiority I may harbor can all be risked, disrupted, and interrupted for a greater wealth to illuminate my life.

I willingly dismantle any false beliefs that tell me I need to be greedy in order to be wealthy.

Leo & Leo Rising

I am the leader of my own life. I know that any dream I have relies on me knowing this. I know that any opportunity given to me is made more abundant when I claim this. I know that any path I want to take needs me to lead the way to clear it.

I am the ruler of my reactions. I know that any script I flip, any abundance I share, and any fear I choose to outgrow makes all the difference. It might seem like I’m just in the right place at the right time, but I know the work it took to get me here and I don’t take any of it for granted. Luck comes to those who make the effort to make something out of it.

I am the giver of all that I wish to receive. Whatever I feel is missing from my life, I seek ways to bring it. Whatever bitterness has crept into my heart, I banish it with my ability to give myself what I need. Whatever is out of alignment in my life gets adjusted with an attitude check.

With this new moon, I remember that shift happens. More easily when I clear space for it. More joyfully when I give into it. More prosperously when I embrace the changes I encounter and willingly open up to the new energy that they bring.

Virgo & Virgo Rising

I break for joy. I stop when it’s been too long since my body felt loved, replenished, and rested. I pause for all things that help me live my best life.

For all that I give, offer, and make myself available to, I am allowed to receive, accept, and let myself be. With this new moon, I take some of my best advice. I remember all of the love I have put on others and I put the same on myself. I recall the energy I have spent on building my outer life and reinvest it in doing some inner maintenance. I know how important it is to reconnect with myself through the potent activity of not giving AF while not doing AFing thing.

I am worthy of a reset. I am worth resting for.

With this new moon, I remember my inherent value. Separate from my production schedule. Separate from my bank account. Separate from what I can do for others. With this new moon, I focus on valuing my free-time, my natural state of being, and all my rituals for restoration and renewal.

Leo season offers us some of the most bountiful, blessed astrology this year. Work with this abundance via your reading, journaling questions, altar suggestions, and guided meditations in A Workshop for the New Moon in Leo, Full Moon in Aquarius, and the Astrology of July 31-August 29.

Libra & Libra Rising

There is an abundance of good fortune that I tap into each time I connect with friends and loved ones. With those that want to expand through pleasure as much as they do through serious self-inquiry. With those that know living a life of purpose and meaning need not be boring or dreary. In fact, it can’t be. If I am truly living, I am shining, my soul is set free, and joy is my north star. I was meant to love my life, be turned on by all things that I create, and be fully present in the pursuit of my dreams.

Feeling good is another key to being fully me.

I was not put on this earth to live a half-life. I was not placed here to deny my needs, dreams, or desires. I need not reject any celebration of the good life. Surrounded by those that know the power of living generously, my fortune is increased. Surrounded by those that inspire me to serve this world in my own unique way, my self-worth is increased. Surrounded by those who understand the value of quality time spent with like-minds, the size of my heart and hopes is increased.

Scorpio & Scorpio Rising

I show up. For my roles in the world. For my goals in life. For my career and all it encompasses. I show up with my entire self. My energy, my learning curves, and my expertise. I show up ready to work with great discipline and even greater joy.

A little honey always calls the co-working dream teams to come forth.

I know how important it is to work with integrity. With this new moon, I plant the professional seeds I most wish to enjoy the fruit of. With this new moon, I remember to shine brilliantly as the leader of my own life. With this new moon, I know that good things flow towards me all the time, but it’s my job to remember to flow with them. To prepare a space for them to land. Take root. Grow tall and wide.

I am an excited host for the arrival of all blessings. I know that nothing squashes good fortune like an expectation of what it should look, be, or act like. I remind myself that cosmic gifts come it all kinds of bizarre forms.  The more I trust what shows up, the more I am able to work with it for as long as it is with me.

Sagittarius & Sagittarius Rising

I let myself go. I air myself out. With the wind on my skin and road rapidly running under me, I let myself be. There are times for excavation and times for expansion. I have been doing the former and am now ready for the latter.

With this new moon, I give myself ample room to roam and breathe free.

In honor of all the times I had to shrink myself down, wait to exhale or fold my grand ideas into bite-sized morsels for the palates of those unaccustomed to the truth, I take this time to let my creativity run wild. I let my energy run unruly. I let my curiosity lead me no matter what. I let myself know nothing. I release myself from my identities, roles, and regular ways of being. I practice emptying out my preconceived notions every morning so that I might be prepared for my next big idea, a moment of pleasure, and a tiny but seismic shift.

I allow myself to travel to the unfamiliar stretches my mind and spirit in the best of ways. I’m ready to shake off what keeps me chained to a certain perspective so that I can seek what thrills, excites, and soothes me.

Capricorn & Capricorn Rising

Good things come to me through those that I put myself in the company of. Those that will protect my sensitive sides, promote my creative ingenuity, and help me to display the talents I have worked so hard to hone.

I hang around those that remind me who I am. I collaborate with those that refuse anything but the best of what I can bring. I join forces with folks that contribute quality to any project we embark on.

With this new moon, I am offered the gift of healing through celebration. I love my wins as much as the wins of my loves. I know that collective gain is the most valuable asset to acquire. When I feel empty or unsure of what I have to offer, I remember to focus on what I can give to others. In doing so, I give myself the great gift of channeling generosity and reaping the cleansing rewards of it. There is nothing that I can truly receive without being willing to also give it.

Aquarius & Aquarius Rising

Every moment of intimacy I experience burns away a layer of what prevents me from feeling lovable. Any lies about my worthiness that I have picked up, made up, or bought into can be dispelled by a sincere act of kindness. Disrupted by direct transmission of care. Derailed by an act of generosity towards me.

I make sure to receive them.

This new moon highlights the relationships in my life that are abundant in their ability to know that love is its own reward. There is nothing to get from each other, just experiences to give and receive. There is nothing to demand of one another when boundaries are respected and beauty is honored. There is nothing to push anyone else towards when I am as firm as I need to be with what is important to me.

I have no fear that those that share what I find sacred will find me.

With this new moon, I remember the power of enjoying the company I keep. I surround myself with those that want to place mutual pleasure side by side with respect and integrity.

Pisces & Pisces Rising

The new moon reminds me of what healing can mean for me. It reminds me that a little joy packs a lot of medicine. It reminds me that staying stuck when I have the freedom to make a move serves no one. Especially me.

With this new moon, I make a commitment to do the things that get my blood flowing, heart pumping, and juices going. I remember that love makes me strong, generosity makes me wealthy, and abundance is what comes when I consistently show myself radical kindness.

With this new moon, I infuse my work projects with the kind of enthusiasm I hope to receive from putting them into the world. I strive for solutions without looking away from the intensity of the problem. The more space I keep open for answers, the more willing they are to arrive. The more fluid I can be with what works, the more possibility for success. The more I witness how far I’ve come, how sincerely I have tried, and how much I am bringing to the table, the more easily I can get on with the business at hand and heart.

Horoscopes for Friday’s Full Moon in Libra ~ April 20, 2019

Here are horoscopes for the weeks of April 19-May 3. These are horoscopes starting with the full moon in Libra. Your horoscopes are meant to be read as inspiration. If you know both your rising sign and sun sign, please read both horoscopes. They both contain important information. You’ll know which resonates more for you from week to week. Take what works for you, leave the rest. If you want to share this work you must quote it and link it to this post and website. Thank you for your support and for spreading the work, we really appreciate it and you! And, NOW 50% OFF: In this month’s lunar workshop, I’ve got a reading, ritual and guided meditation for your sign for the full moon in Libra. April 19th 4:12 AM PT – Full moon at 29° Libra On the edge of Libra, the second full moon in a row happens in the sign of the scales. This full moon acts as an exclamation point on the area of our chart that contains Libra. With this unusual double feature, April’s full moon ties into the themes of March. What peaked for you last month wasn’t the full story; this week’s full moon fleshes out the plot lines, making its point known. Full moons are moments in the lunar cycle where something has peaked. The energy of a situation is at its fullest. Like a flower bud bursting open, all the glory that was held in the potential of a thing is revealed to the world. Now bees can come to roll around in the pollen of the project, spreading its potency far and wide. On the way to the full moon, make every effort to perfect, love, and care for what it is you want to release in the world. The full moon carries your intention forward with your efforts. These two full moons in Libra are commenting on whatever it was we began about 7 months ago, with the new moon in Libra in October of 2018. Your horoscope below speaks more specifically to the area of life that these full moons are impacting but, in general, notice what in your life is naturally finding its own dynamic balance, it’s own conclusion and its own way of shining in the world.   April 20th Sun enters Taurus Welcome, Taurus Season! The first couple of weeks of it aren’t as chill as the bull likes to be, but the fields are alive with a different kind of music right now. As the sun wanders through these pastures, little earthquakes give way to larger ones. Change is afoot, and those with important points and planets in (especially the early degrees of) Taurus will be challenged to change in ways they’ve never been. Even the most stable of seasons have completely unexpected conditions to contend with. This is one of them. Venus enters Aries As the goddess leaves her throne and exaltation in Pisces, she moves into territory that is the exact opposite of where she thrives. Venus in Aries is a short-lived love affair. A fiery heart that burns out before it’s had time to figure out what it wants. A restless lover who has incredible magnetism, but not necessarily an interest in sticking around for the long-haul. That’s not to say that people with this placement are like this, but the conditions that Venus finds herself in, in Aries, force her to move mountains for relationships that last. If you want to learn more about your own personal Venus placement, and other things to do with love and intimacy in your personal chart, please join me for the workshop Your Love, Sex, and Synastry.   April 22nd Sun conjunct Uranus in Taurus at 2°  Today’s astrology highlights the longer-range changes that Taurus is going through. The next 7 years sees Uranus transiting through Taurus, and every planet that now roams through the bull’s eye meets this maker. Uranus is here to work the fields in a much different way than they have been thus far. Innovating how we handle the resources that we have access to makes all the difference under these skies.   April 24th Pluto stations retrograde at 23° Capricorn This year, Pluto stations retrograde next to the south node. This gives the transit an extra emphasis on purging, releasing, and being relieved of what isn’t good for our spiritual growth. Pluto will spend the next 6 months moving a mere 3°, stationing direct at 20° Capricorn on October 2, 2019. That means if you have any planets or points between 20°-23° of Capricorn (Aries, Cancer, or Libra)they are receiving a very thorough investigation from Pluto. This Lordess of the Underworld has dirt on all of us, though. Whether or not we have planets in Capricorn, this transit helps us to investigate the motives that we have in the area of our chart that contains this earth sign. April 27th Mars in Gemini square Neptune in Pisces, both at 17° A momentary confusion can set in as Mars, the warrior works its way through the fog and misleading signposts that Neptune places in its path. This is a quick transit so if you feel lost, stay where you are and wait for your mom or the next best thing to come get you.   April 29th Saturn stations retrograde at 20° Capricorn Stationing direct on the south node, days after Pluto did the same, Saturn will retrograde all the way back to 13° Capricorn, where it will station direct on September 18, 2019. From now until then it inspects, with the utmost scrutiny, the structures, guidelines, and fears that get in the way of us doing our best work. Saturn wants to check to see if we have done our homework, stayed late, and given the things we are working on the proper time to take shape. Conjunct the south node, Saturn’s station retrograde might have us contemplating the goals that are our guideposts. When these two come together we are asked to get real about the reasons for wanting to achieve what we do. Saturn slows us down to get it right; doing so on the south node might make us more willing to be honest with ourselves so we can release those goals that actually do nothing for us in the long run.   April 30th Mercury in Aries sextile Mars in Gemini, both at 20° Today, Mercury gets some help from its current ruler, Mars. Conversations are stimulating to say the least. Consensual dirty talk never sounded so sweet. Your more daring sentiments are expressed with greater ease and received with greater excitement.   May 1st Mercury in Aries square Saturn Rx in Capricorn, both at 20° Mercury now gives us a run for our money, moving swiftly through a couple of difficult situations. Everything ends up on a brighter note, but we are challenged to momentarily wade through some sludge. Today’s astrology has us up against a limitation or boundary in our thinking, or in terms of another that we are having a conversation with. Stay with what works and put obstacles in perspective. Things will shift by end of day tomorrow.   May 2nd Mercury in Aries square Pluto Rx in Capricorn, both at 23° Rounding out this challenging conversation, Mercury squares Saturn, the south node, and now Pluto. The truth is out there, but we have to be willing to release our ego in the process of finding it. Power dynamics get especially challenging with this transit so speak words that help deconstruct unfair imbalances. Mercury in Aries trine Jupiter Rx in Sagittarius, both at 23° Triumphantly, Mercury wins whatever battle it was waging. Spreading the good news, this configuration helps us to see beyond the burdens of our situation and make the most of the solutions we can think up, communicate, and take action on.
Horoscopes for Aries & Aries Rising
Just before Aries Season comes to a close, the second full moon in a row lights up your 7th house of committed partnerships. Over the stretch of March and April, these full moons have asked you to focus on the ins and outs of your intimate relationships and business partnerships. What’s been revealed needs to be taken into account. Don’t waste your time pretending that you didn’t hear, see, or come to know what you have about your connections with others. Your heart, your talent, your energy all deserve to be connected to the people that get you and what you are up to. It is more than reasonable to refuse a match that is anything less than the perfect fit; in fact, it’s time-management 101. The relationships that have revealed themselves as reciprocally inspiring now get a boost. What you began with another back in October now gets loved and lifted up. The sun’s conjunction with Uranus on April 22nd tempts you to rebel against your self-doubt. What has it done for you lately? This transit is one of many occurring over the course of the next month that ask you to innovate your work in one way or another. Don’t be alarmed if the way your work life is flowing feels unfamiliar. Keep attuning yourself to how your resources want to work for you. Instead of trying to fit them into a system that might not understand what you are offering, build bridges to those that do. As Pluto and then Saturn station retrograde (April 24th and 29th), they pull focus on your career roles, obligations, structures and the power of what you create when you take the time to build it with integrity. Try to focus more on the shape of it then the speed you think it should be built with. If it’s taking more time than you thought it would, it needs more time than you knew. Don’t rush what’s worth waiting for. NOW 50% OFF: In this month’s lunar workshop, I’ve got a reading, ritual and guided meditation for your sign for the full moon in Libra.

Horoscopes for Taurus & Taurus Rising
If you want to break professional boundaries, records, and reasonable goals, you have to be willing to go it alone at times. You have to be willing to disturb the peace and be blamed for the disruption. You have to like yourself enough to risk being rejected by those that don’t understand you. Yet. The second of two full moons in a row will be lighting up your 6th house of work projects, habits, and patterns. It helps your best efforts get the boost that they deserve, but there are other astrological forces at play that say you want more than just gold stars. The sun’s conjunction with Uranus in Taurus is a rock-star of a start to your season. Encouraging you to break new ground, this astrology gets you to cause a little more commotion than is common for you. Living out loud, channeling chaotic creativity, and freaking out the part of you that yearns for stability, is par for the course. Your adverse internal responses need to be weighed against the necessary risks you must take at the moment. Soothe yourself, then challenge yourself. As Pluto and then Saturn station retrograde (April 24th and 29th), they pull focus on your path forward. If there are places that you want to go but are putting off for fear of not being up to the task, this transit will ask you to outgrow such a limited understanding of what you are capable of. Horoscopes for Gemini & Gemini Rising
With the second full moon in a row lighting up your 5th house of creative projects, energy, and opportunities, April makes a point of telling you that you are talented. Whatever you have been working on developing since October of 2018 is now getting a double dose of divine love. What have you learned about spending your creative currency? What is your artistic tempo? When does your creativity need rest? Time to play, ponder and experiment? The less energy you spend trying to please others with what you are making, the more energy you’ll have to celebrate and appreciate the creative process in and of itself. It is its own reward. The sun’s conjunction with Uranus on April 22nd teases out a talent, and possibly a sorrow, that has laid dormant for too long. What you’ve had to keep secret now needs to be set free. Truths that have been locked away in your unconscious are plotting an escape. Best to be their accomplice. It may be a rocky release, but the reward of living an honest life is worth the work to do so. As Pluto and then Saturn station retrograde (April 24th and 29th), they pull focus on your collaborations. The biggest lessons that you are learning in regards to the exchanges of time, energy, and effort you make with others are most likely about taking responsibility for your part of the process. The less you overextend yourself, the less resentment you’ll have. Boundaries are a beautiful thing, make time to love up yours. Horoscopes for Cancer & Cancer Rising
With two full moons in a row in your 4th house of foundations, these past couple of months have brought you face to face with your non-negotiable needs. How you learn to care for your inner life makes your public one more pleasurable. How you learn to address your internal responses to your external growth helps you expand in ways that align with your purpose instead of pursuing what is merely fashionable. How you learn to take your home with you, no matter where you are, keeps you connected to what sustains you across continents and decades. Consider how your work might feed future generations. The sun’s conjunction with Uranus on April 22nd illuminates the social sea change that you are a part of. Something innovate wants to come through you and the people that you are gathering with. Listen to what your creativity wants to give to your audience. Listen to the ideas that your community has in regard to creative problem solving and socially conscious strategies for success. Your group-mindedness is grounded in a desire to make something better for everyone. Risk being momentarily misunderstood so that you can eventually be a motivating force for the collective good. As Pluto and then Saturn station retrograde (April 24th and 29th), they pull focus on the shape and state of your committed partnerships. The ones that are high-functioning will get a chance to explore the depth of mutual pleasures you can reach. The relationships that are already rocky will likely crash into the issues that need to be dealt with. During transits like this, no matter the state of the union, the deeper fears of intimacy and betrayal arise to be healed, held, and understood for what they are. Fears aren’t always reliable friends to tag along with, though. Make it your goal to grow into the kind of person you’d feel relieved to be in a partnership with. In the first 2 days of May, Mercury brings up important professional conversations that detail the nature of the obstacles you are up against. Ultimately they lead to learning something of incredible value, so don’t get thrown off by doubt. Stay around until the solutions come, because they are on their way. Horoscopes for Leo & Leo Rising
The second full moon in a row to light up your 3rd house of communication has a lot to say. March and April have had you on the move and for good reason. The messages you are spreading right now are opening up important opportunities for you and will continue to all year. What you are currently learning about effectively communicating your message will serve you for miles down the road so stay tuned into what works and turn the volume down on what doesn’t. The sun’s conjunction with Uranus on April 22nd reveals just how important it is for you to be actively innovating through your public and professional work. What you are engaging in now either has never been done before or never done in the way you are about to do it. Stay attuned to your unique touch and reasons for attempting to do the impossible. No matter the competition, your cutting edge is your heart, art, and soul-centered reason for doing this work. As Pluto and then Saturn both station retrograde (April 24th and 29th), they pull focus on the structures of your work life. What is sound survives the overhaul, but what needs a once over will get a thorough inspection. You’ll be revising plans, agendas, and the applications of your skills, but for the best reasons. In the end, these transits will see you clearer about your professional roles and reasons for occupying them. Horoscopes for Virgo & Virgo Rising
The second full moon in a row to light up your 2nd house of money, resources and assets mean business. Whatever financial lessons March and April brought you are coming to a close, but you’d be remiss to forget their meanings too quickly. What you learned about how to work with your resources, and issues that came up in regard to them, are priceless. Give yourself a bonus for the learning curves you’ve come through. The sun’s conjunction with Uranus on April 22nd teases out the feelings that are bound to accompany the new journey you are on. Jitters are normal if you are allowing yourself to surpass your comfort zone, and it looks like that’s exactly what you’re being asked to do. Study what pushes your thinking into new paradigms. Put yourself in situations where you are forced to learn about what lies outside of your experience. Discomfort isn’t a punishment, it’s part of any good growth cycle. Pluto and then Saturn station retrograde between April 24th and 29th, pulling focus on your creative projects and your process with them. What fears do you need to move through so that your creative energy feels free to do what it needs to? What do you have a hard time trusting about your creative process? What structures, time, energy, and focus do you need to give your creative energy so that you feel more at ease following its rhythms and ways? Help yourself by focusing on the craft rather than the crowd. Horoscopes for Libra & Libra Rising
The most important gaze to capture is your own. Keep your eyes on the prize. April is home to the second full moon in Libra in a row and as it graces you with a double dose of the spotlight, you get to see a little more of yourself. Whatever you are coming to appreciate about your story, your struggle, and your identity is determined by your willingness to show yourself some compassion. Especially when coming to understand parts of your past, compassion is key. As Pluto and then Saturn station retrograde (April 24th and 29th), they pull focus on your humble beginnings. Having compassion for former versions of yourself is incredibly powerful medicine. We can’t change what we’ve done, but being compassionately accountable for what we did can move internal mountains at quantum speeds. Wage peace with yourself and see what it helps you appreciate your current and former selves and situations. The sun’s conjunction with Uranus (April 22nd) makes clear the innovations needed in your collaborations. Perhaps convention tells you otherwise, but it’s time to listen to the ways in which you know you need to experiment with how to work with others. Go for efficiency and ways of working together that open up everyone’s creativity. The freer all sides are to explore their own talents, the more everyone will bring to the table. Horoscopes for Scorpio & Scorpio Rising
As the second full moon in a row lights up your 12th house of hidden life and behind the scenes projects, you have even more reason than usual to be secretive, protective and full of intrigue. Whatever you are cooking up in private has needed the protection. You of all people understand the pleasures associated with painstaking attention to detail that few if any will ever know about. Soon you’ll have recognition for your efforts but for now let the full moon applaud, if only in private, your work. After the full moon begins to wane, Taurus Season settles in and the sun’s light starts to heat up your 7th house of relationships. It quickly makes a conjunction with Uranus (on April 22nd), highlighting the changes that this area of your life is going through. The partnerships that help you feel unmistakably alive come into focus. Follow these cues to more of the same. Meanwhile, if a relationship isn’t right for you, the discord will be loud and clear. Pluto, and then Saturn, station retrograde (April 24th and 29th) in your 3rd house, pulling focus on your communication projects, daily plans, and travel. These two thoroughly investigate the routes and reasons you have for taking them. Be prepared to cut back on the aspects of your schedule that are unhelpful diversions. With the second full moon in a row lighting up your 11th house of allies, supporters, and community, you remain the one to watch. Your ability to network, meet and greet, and mingle with those that have the potential to be future team members should be worked with. Right now you need to be available for questions, answers, and your interesting ideas. As you work to innovate your field, find solutions to problems few have ever tried to address, and tackle issues no one else knows how to deconstruct, you shine. The sun’s conjunction with Uranus on April 22nd makes sure of it. As you settle into your role as innovator and disruptor you get a chance to explore what it might mean to do things a different way. Refusing to stay stuck coloring in the lines others drew long before you, you can flip industry-wide issues on their head, leading you to insights that may be common sense to you but revolutionary to many. When Pluto and then Saturn both station retrograde a little later in the month (April 24th and 29th), what comes into focus are finances and the need to restructure some aspect of your expenses. Whether that is your attitude or actual numbers, the planets want you to get real about what you have as resources and what you can do with them. The more responsible you feel for developing, and possibly defending, your most precious commodities, the more of their power and preciousness you’ll be attuned to. Horoscopes for Capricorn & Capricorn Rising
With the second full moon in a row lighting up your 10th house of career, your professional efforts get a gold star and a major cosmic boost. What you’ve been able to achieve over the past couple of months is nothing short of stunning, but has it been satiating? If so the gifts keep on giving you opportunities for more. Keep disseminating the wisdom the experiences have granted you. If the accolades you’ve received have been anything but uplifting, take it as a sign that now is the time to chase what could be. As Taurus Season settles in, the sun’s conjunction with Uranus on April 22nd tempts you to rebel in the best of ways: by having fun. It’s time to let yourself find new ways to play, create, and innovate. Learn how to place humor before bitterness, joy before envy, and collaboration before self-centered gain. You are meant to be making art out of the most unlikely mediums. Gather with those that are willing to take similar risks. Pluto and then Saturn station retrograde in your sign, giving you good reason to pause. It’s just for a brief beat but, between April 24th and 29th, you are especially sensitive to the responsibilities that pull on you. Some are yours to tend to, others need to be released from your list. Knowing the difference is a form of freedom only maturity awards us, and it makes growing old look glorious. Horoscopes for Aquarius & Aquarius Rising
Nothing can replace soulfulness. No amount of social currency can be a substitute for doing the work meant for you. Meaning has to be made out of life’s ups and downs. Meaning is something you get when you commit to living into, through, and for what you hold as sacred. With every choice you make, every action you take, you move closer towards it or further from it. Just before Aries Season comes to a close, the second full moon in a row lights up your 9th house of long-distance travels, far-off adventures, and future plans. These two full moons have been asking you to get clear on why you are moving towards what you are moving towards. Given your goals, are you getting what you need out of the process? Is it deepening your relationship to yourself? Has the journey been satisfying on a soul level? If not, April’s full moon might point out a path that would, will, and wants to be. As Taurus Season settles in, the sun’s conjunction with Uranus on April 22nd teases out a fault line at the base of your life. An issue from the past, with a parent or housemate, is awakened. Like any beast aroused from slumber, this one is testy. Try not to cage your emotions in too close quarters. You need time to understand the more emotionally dense reactions that erupt. There’s wisdom in the old stories that get replayed now. There’s a paradigm to shift. There’s a story to retell, one that casts you as the plucky protagonist. You’re being asked to reorient yourself with the events of your past, furthering your relationship with your agency in the present. Pluto and then Saturn station retrograde between April 24th and 29th, pulling focus on your unconscious habits and patterns. What is purged in the process frees up so much space for your creative energy and abilities to take shape? Don’t be afraid of facing a self-sabotaging behavior. It’s just you distorted. Free yourself so that you can be more available for yourself. Horoscopes for Pisces & Pisces Rising
With the second full moon in a row lighting up your 8th house of collaborations, lessons about how you spend your time, talent, and energy with others abound. Whatever you have been able to accomplish in your partnerships over the past 6 months now comes to fruition. If it’s something you can harvest, you’ll be able to enjoy it for a while to come. As the sun makes a conjunction to Uranus on April 22nd, you are tempted to speak your mind in ways you don’t usually. This is a long-range change, one that will slowly but surely lead to you communicating with greater clarity, honesty, and an ability to get the attention of those you wish to. The more innovative you are about getting your message across, the more freedom you’ll find to tell your story. Don’t let the rejection of your tale take root in your being. You have every right to speak your truth as anyone else does. Get creative about how to bring it to those that are ready to receive it. Pluto and then Saturn’s station retrograde (April 24th and 29th) pulls focus on your friendships, social roles, and obligations. Whichever are feeling too tight, restrictive, or ill-fitting will need to be reconsidered. Over the course of the next couple of months, you’ll be attuning yourself to who you want to show up for, and how you want to show up for them. Horoscopes for Today’s New Moon in Libra and Venus Retrograde ~ October 9, 2018

Horoscopes for the
New Moon in Libra and Venus Retrograde
Your horoscopes are meant to be read as inspiration. If you know both your rising sign and sun sign, please read both horoscopes. They both contain important information. You’ll know which resonates more for you from week to week. Take what works for you, leave the rest. If you want to share this work you must quote it and link it to this post and website. Thank you for your support and for spreading the work around, we really appreciate it and you!

Venus Retrograde: October 5th – November 16th from 10° Scorpio to 25° of Libra

To the ancients each planet was seen as a goddess or god. Unlike the other lights in the sky, the planets moved of their own accord against the backdrop of the fixed stars, signaling to us times of prosperity, retrieval, strife, and victory.

Venus’s retrograde pattern captivated the imaginations of the ancients. The Sumerians saw the bright star as the Goddess Inanna, protectress of sex-workers, goddess of love, erotic energy, and the Queen of Heaven and Earth.

During her retrograde cycle, she goes from bright evening star to invisible to bright morning star. Slowly disappearing from view as she retrogrades back into a conjunction with the sun, Venus was thought to be in the underworld during her time of invisibility. As she stations direct, she reappears as a bright morning star, triumphantly returning to the heavens. Venus/Inanna’s visual transformations were made into a great descent myth that mirrors our own psychological process of death, rebirth, and transformation.

Venus is currently in Scorpio, one of the signs she has the greatest difficulty in. Here, Venus is more attuned to the wounds, betrayals, and historic assault of the feminine. Those that identify as women, femme, or express any amount of feminine energy, know the patriarchy’s twisted obsession, hatred, and fear of Venus.

Of us.

The results of damage done by patriarchal violence is amplified during this planet’s shift.

This once-every-18-month retrograde cycle teaches us much about our limits, our heart-ache, and the process of purging unhealthy relationship patterns from our systems. As Venus deepens into the retrograde she will reveal the massive shifts that all our relationships are undergoing.

In Scorpio, Venus is in exact opposition to one of her home signs, Taurus. Taurus builds stable structures. Loves consistency. Never lets go. In her opposite sign, Venus in Scorpio hungers after the transformative processes that bring the truth. Deaths and rebirths are a necessary part of the life cycle of any organism.

Not all relationships are meant to last. Venus retrogrades make this known.

Over the course of the next 40 days and nights we will come to understand in greater depth our desires, needs, and necessities when relating and creating our life and partnerships as they need to be now.

October 8th

8:47 PM PT – New Moon at 15° Libra

Like diamonds buried deep within, a just world is built through the pressure of injustice crumbling. The systems of harm that have ruled this world for too long are failing. The force of this process will ultimately lead to our transformation if we can stay with it.

Today’s new moon in Libra is square Pluto, and aspect that the sun will stay in until October 11th. The new moon asks us to take our grief and turn it into action. It asks us how we might get on the right side of the human story each and every day. It reminds us that every single act of justice adds up when we make it a constant and considerate practice.

October 9th

Mercury enters Scorpio, there until October 30th

As Mercury cozies up to the now retrograde Goddess, Venus and Mercury get into some intense pillow talk. Here, Mercury deepens our communications. Uninterested in the run of the mill niceties, Mercury in Scorpio makes a bee-line for the truth.

Tomorrow makes sure of it.

October 10th

Mercury in Scorpio opposes Uranus in Taurus, both at 1°

Venus in Scorpio squares Mars in Aquarius, both at 10°

Definitely one of the more difficult signatures of the lunar cycle, today’s astrology is unpredictable.

As Mercury makes its first steps into Taurus, it comes up against an abrupt opposition to Uranus in Taurus. Like a slap to the senses, this combo comes bringing news we previously knew nothing about. From left field, information comes flying at us. Remembering that in so many situations we need not respond right away can save us in these times. Know when you are within your rights to take a breath. Take a moment. Take a look at your options before you react to what is demanding you do.

Tearing into our more sensitive spots, on the same day, the square between Venus and Mars feels a little more vicious than is necessary. Astrologers of the past might have called this the ultimate fight between men and women, but we can look at it with more nuance and less of a gender binary than a “battle of the sexes”. We know that patriarchy is upheld by all genders. We know that white supremacy, colonization, and heteronormativity are intrinsically woven into the fabric of its functionality. We know that as we deconstruct one aspect of this system, we must do so to all the others.

On a personal level, Venus and Mars in battle feels unfair in some of our more personal connections. Venus comes looking for togetherness, Mars for separation. Feelings get hurt or already are. Try as we might to avoid it, in astrology like this we can cause a wound to reopen. We’ll have to revisit the scenario later for any possible make-ups or confirmations of break-ups.

October 11th

Sun in Libra squares Pluto in Capricorn, both at 18°

This aspect has been building since the new moon on October 8th, and peaks today. It gives the entire week a tension, intensity, and depth that refuses to look away from what is normally swept under the rug. We might find ourselves enmeshed in incredibly difficult circumstances, unable to get out without a thorough investigation of our part in the process or without getting dirty as a result of going through such a deep dig into our subconscious.

October 12th

Mercury in Scorpio sextiles Saturn in Capricorn, both at 3°

From October 10th (when Mercury opposed Uranus) to the 22nd, Mercury is on overdrive. Contacting a bevy of planets with vastly different agendas, the themes of these days will shift quickly, offering a multitude of messages ranging from incredibly affirming, to caustic, to transformational.  Today’s transit puts us in good celestial company. As Mercury moves from a supportive sextile to Saturn, to a conjunction with Venus, we get the messages we need to succeed. Here, Mercury confirms what is working, helps us make solid plans, and finds ways to tip us off about the things we need to commit to.

October 15th

Mercury conjuncts Venus at 8° of Scorpio

Working with Venus retrograde, Mercury receives the messages that Venus may have held secret until now. Tuning into her journey, Mercury is both blessed by Venus and able to translate some of the heartache she is bringing up for us to heal. These transits remind us of the power of loving sentiments when shared. Tell your people you love them and then back it up with action.

October 19th

Mercury in Scorpio trines Neptune in Pisces, both at 14°

Mercury in Scorpio squares Mars in Aquarius, both at 14°

Today is full of mixed messages. As Mercury gets inspired and uplifted by the creative cocktails that Neptune pours freely, it also gets some fighting words delivered via Mars. Messages can get muddled in these kinds of cross hairs. Make sure not to stoke the fires that can burn down the buildings you have built a home within. There may be a fight you need to have, but practicing harm reduction is key in these celestial set-ups.

October 22nd

Mercury in Scorpio sextiles Pluto in Capricorn, both at 18°

Today allows for an integration of all that Mercury has been moving through. The conversations, messages, and sentiments that have been shared over the last 10 days come to an important processing point. Our power is always in our ability to hold space for what is happening so that it has a chance to reveal the wisdom that resides in it.

October 23rd

Sun enters Scorpio and opposes Uranus in Taurus, both at 0°

Welcome to Scorpio Season! With tomorrow’s full moon highlighting today’s opposition to the planet of upheaval, change, and breakthroughs (Uranus), this is no time to sleep on the situations at hand. Scorpio teaches us how to honor death as a life coach. This season starts off abruptly, chaotically, and without mincing words or feelings but it will, undoubtedly, bring about the shifts and changes that will free up space in radical, unpredictable, and ultimately revolutionary ways.

Horoscope for Aries & Aries Rising

This, and every Venus retrograde, will always pull into focus your heart and finances. That’s because Venus rules your 2nd house of the work you do to support yourself and the money, resources and assets you have as a result, as well as your 7th house of committed partnerships.

With this specific Venus retrograde you are being asked to go through a therapeutic process in regards to these areas of your life. What isn’t working for you in love or work life? What about this moment is similar to what you went through 8 years ago financially? What about it is similar to what you went through in regards to committed partnerships or the lack of them? What are you taking personally instead of taking as an indication of what to heal, bring to consciousness, and bring into therapeutic spaces?

You are being asked to do a deep investigation into the heart of the issues that are a thorn in your side. If it hurts, it needs your attention. If it is personal and persists, try not to resist it. Try not to feel self-pity about it. Try to find ways to clarify what the issue is, what it isn’t, and what you can do to support yourself through it.

These themes will be weaving their way in and out of your days from now until the end of the year. The sooner you tend to them, the deeper the transformation you will go through with them.

The new moon in Libra picks up on these themes. It wants to help you transform an intimacy issue that has become pressing and pertinent to your development. Horoscope for Taurus & Taurus Rising

As Venus, Goddess of love and connection, stations retrograde, the underbelly of your relationship dynamics start to reveal themselves. Your ruling planet governs your direction and your work life. As she switches up her style, so too will you. How you are connecting to others gets reviewed. Reworked. Reconsidered for impact. What you want out of partnerships deepens. Transforms. Takes you into new dimensions with your partners if they can handle the journey.

There is nothing about what you need from a partnership that is unattainable if you are willing to match it with the same kind of effort, care, and consistency. Use the beginning of Venus’s retrograde to be unabashedly committed to getting clear on what you need.

Make absolutely no apologies for the love you desire.

The new moon in Libra sets its sights on your work projects, relationships and health matters. What are you wanting to begin here? What rage needs to be channeled here? What aspect of your work life are you working to actively transform? Given the current state of affairs, what does your body need to release, set down for a moment, or get a chance to do? Ponder these questions and leave room for the answers to find you. Manifesting what we most want means that we listen to what wants to be born through us as much as we proclaim our future for ourselves.

As the new moon grows across the landscape of the next couple of weeks, keep opening up to the changes that are befalling you. The transformations that you are going through are deep and slow, but there are moments of astoundingly clear revelations that lead to quantum leaps and bounds for your growth.

Horoscope for Gemini & Gemini Rising

As Venus gets her retrograde on, she highlights the importance of your professional partnerships. Issues personal in nature that arise in your work-life are incredibly important to address right now. Venus will spend all of October and the first few days of November in this area of your chart. The goddess asks you how you feel about your work projects, what needs to change there, and what has the potential to impact the field you are dedicating your time and talent to. What you need right now is connection to currents of personal and professional liberation. If what you are doing right now doesn’t feel revolutionary in some way, it will most likely make you unreasonably restless.

As a rule, Venus is always and forever in charge of your 5th house of creative energy, projects, and progeny as well as your 12th house of hidden life, unconscious habits and ways in which you might self-sabotage. Every Venus retrograde will carry these themes with it, but this Venus retrograde in particular wants to know how you might be processing, healing, and sorting through these issues within your work life. What personal changes have you been undergoing in your private life that are helping you to get a better understanding of what your creative energy is capable of? Which of your work projects is helping you heal something that you haven’t been able to consciously hold in previous years?

October’s new moon picks up on these themes and asks you to invest some time developing the creative projects that help you transform your grief, rage, and fear into works of art that reflect your power, potency, and potential. Imbue your creative projects with these intentions and visualize them helping others do the same. Done for the sake of itself, every creative act is a study in transformation.

Horoscope for Cancer & Cancer Rising

As Venus finds its retrograde way through your chart, you are asked to let the creative projects you are working on transform you. The act of making something is an incredibly personal one. Intimate. Sometimes intimidating. Always revealing your current relationship to yourself. To be engaged in the act of creating is to lay yourself bare and to share that vulnerability with the world.

Venus retrograde asks you how you may have been holding out up until now. What guises are you letting go of? Which vices do you no longer need to depend on? What are you able to be more honest about and how does it shift the nature of what you are bringing into form.

In Scorpio, and retrograde, Venus has very little to lose. Here, she teaches us the power of ceasing to care about the crumbs others throw us for being good at their game.

As a rule, Venus is always in charge of your your 4th house of home, parents, family, and foundation, and your 11th house of friends, hopes, and collective visions for the future. Each time Venus is retrograde, these themes will be a part of your goddess-given curriculum. Notice the issues that have and will continue to come up for you in regards to the family you didn’t get to choose and the ones that you do. The nature of your friendships are changing, as are the roles you play with parents, housemates and your home space.

October’s new moon picks up on the agenda that Venus has put forth, asking you to work on the healing that needs to occur within your family and home life. Which parts of your past are you able to now put into perspective and perhaps even able to fuel you forward? Which resentments have you historically held towards family members? How are you learning to re-invest that energy to instead build yourself up from the base? With this new moon, visualize yourself rooting deeper and deeper into your self so that day by day you feel connected to an anchor that nothing can disconnect you from.

Horoscope for Leo & Leo Rising

Because Venus always rules your 3rd house of communications, siblings, good friends, and daily rituals, and your 10th house of career and public roles, every Venus retrograde will comment on these issues. As this current Venus retrograde makes its way through Scorpio, it deepens your relationship to your home, family, and foundational issues. At this time you are more likely able to see what lies beneath your everyday experience. Deeply rooted issues rise to the surface. The roots of your pain are exposed, but remember this only happens when you are ready to receive such information.

If your pain trusts you enough to reveal itself to you, be curious about its arrival. Show it some love, attention and respect. Welcome in the historically relevant issues that are working their way to consciousness. Find out how they need to be held. Hang back on judging them before you understand them. Ask how you might be able to better facilitate their release.

October’s new moon in Libra makes clear that your weeks are best used as containers for your personal transformation. Give yourself access to what helps you digest the worldly issues that tend to clog and drain the system. You need it, in order to change what doesn’t work in your life and the world, too much to sacrifice it to every ailment that comes across your news feed.

The new moon might bring about important conversations, messages, and insights into the nature of what you need to deal with now and going forward. Beginning new projects with the intention that they help you live with more honesty, intention, and dedication to your truth will set you up for a powerful transformation over the next 6 months. With this new moon envision yourself bravely engaging in difficult situations. See yourself coming to your days with great clarity, sense of purpose, and connection to infinite sources of inspiration.

Horoscope for Virgo & Virgo Rising

As Venus settles into its retrograde, you settle into the lessons and healing opportunities that it provides. What you say, how you say it, and how others receive it feels extra weighty at the moment.

Part of what this means is that you need spaces where you are encouraged to talk about your desires. What means the most to you stays on the tip of your tongue. Swallowing such sentiments only leads to indigestion. You need to know what it feels like to communicate these truths. As you do, more of your life energy is released. More of your journey becomes clear. More ways to financially support yourself opens up to you.

More often than not, others will want to invest in you when you know what you want and you aren’t afraid to communicate it.

As a general rule, Venus is in charge of your 2nd house of finances, assets, and livelihood, as well as your 9th house of long-term plans, far off journeys, education, and spiritual experiences. Each time we go through a Venus retrograde it will always comment, if not get you to inspect thoroughly, these areas of your life.

This Venus retrograde in particular is getting you to understand the connection between your ability to infuse your days with all that you are passionate about and your long-term satisfaction and financial well-being.

October’s new moon picks up on the theme of your work life and resources, and asks you to make some money magic. This new moon marks the beginning of something in this area of your life, but the beginning is intertwined with a transformation and review. Something about the nature of what you do for a living is in need of an overhaul, either in regards to your relationship to the work itself, or the relationships that surround it. Take note of how you are able to verbally work through conflict, intensity, or stress. You are in the process of developing a new way of doing the work that you do. Some things will have to be let go of, some just processed and repurposed. Envision yourself easily succeeding at any aspect of your work that you find challenging and notice if in that vision there is a key to your present and future success.

Horoscope for Libra & Libra Rising

With your ruling planet retrograde, you yourself get to review the ways in which you want to be in relationship with yourself and your life.

And your bag. Money matters reign supreme for you right now. If there is a disparity between what you do for coin, and what you desire to, Venus retrograde will reveal your frustrations about the gap.

Use it. You can work with Venus to help you get clearer about your passions and how they play an important part in supporting you. Or want to.

If you feel aligned with them on the job, notice the relationship issues that are being revealed to you through finances and the feelings that come up around having enough. Or being enough.

Venus digs its heels deep into the heart of your self-esteem issues with this retrograde.

Use it. Not to belabor the point, but to get information about what you might be misunderstanding about yourself. The parts of your being that feel bad are not separate from the parts that feel pretty, witty, and free to be. The separation is just an illusion. A powerful one, but one that needs to be broken down so that your self-doubt can reach the resources it needs to heal.

As a rule, Venus rules your 1st house of self and your 8th house of psychological healing and energetic, emotional, and financial collaborations. Any time Venus retrogrades, you can be sure that these aspects of life will be up for review, understanding, and healing. This particular Venus retrograde weaves together the themes of self-support and collaborative efforts. Weighing the importance of both is essential. Understanding when you need to do something on your own and when you need to ask for, and be able to receive, the support you need is essential to your success. Notice the feelings that come up when you ask for help or need to do something yourself. What are the themes and persistent patterns you notice most?

October’s new moon in Libra is your time to come back into relationship with yourself. Shedding layers that weren’t yours to wear in the first place, this new moon strips away the non-essential. Like the Goddess seeking her renewal, go to the streams and sources of purification that help you feel refreshed and reconnected to yourself. Whatever seeds you are sowing with the new moon unfold over the next 6 months. Make sure that they are supportive of your essential nature, needs, and desires. This moon is here to help you transform your relationship with yourself. Do what you need to with it.

Horoscope for Scorpio & Scorpio Rising

Venus has picked you. To journey with her. To feel your way through the underground by her side. To witness the process of her transformation so that you can see how it mirrors your own.

You are changing shape.

Appropriate to this moment, the ways in which you are letting old things go may not always be to other’s liking, but nothing that isn’t true works for you right now.

While you are finishing up a year of intense growth, Venus asks you to review and discard any un-useful extras. Not all gains need to be kept. Up-cycle your excess so that you might feel a little lighter on the other side of this excursion.

As a rule, Venus governs your 7th house of committed partnerships and your 12th house of hidden life and the sorrows that live in the unconscious. Any time Venus is retrograde, these areas of life will get activated. Ask for awareness. Ask to be healed.

This particular retrograde weaves together the themes of your personal liberation and the needs of your relationships. What you need from others is changing. What you desire in partnership is undergoing its own healing journey. What you are able to bring to others is getting clarified, giving you a greater sense (eventually) of what you can accomplish, experience, and provide to all of your committed partnerships.

Refuse to sacrifice yourself, your desires, or your values to make someone else happy or a partnership work that refuses you as you are.

October’s new moon reiterates the lessons about transforming any self-sacrificing patterns that have gotten away from you in the past. It asks you to look at the aspects of your self and life that normally go without attention or inspection. It tenderizes a part of your heart, so be gentle with yourself. Tearing apart your being is no way towards liberation or healing. Instead, find ways to gently, but unflinchingly, unfold one pattern that you know gets in your way. A little goes a long way. Any healing you do around the new moon sets up a pattern of self-care that unfolds and grows over the course of the next 6 months. Get your fair share of bath salts and group texts.

Horoscope for Sagittarius & Sagittarius Rising

As Venus gets deeper into its retrograding ways, you are likely to notice the more nuanced aspects of your healing journey. Any amount of consciousness that you can apply to your pain is a great fortune, even when it means being in closer proximity with your sorrow.

We need to be able to name it in order to heal it.

Your relationship with the parts of yourself that you once had to compartmentalize are supposed to be deepening. Your inner demons are mostly just misunderstood desires. Appetites unfed. Needs unmeet. Wounds undressed. As you get freer of the shame that has held you in place in the past, you give yourself the psychic space necessary for growth.

As a rule, Venus is in charge of your 6th house of work issues and health matters, and your 11th house of communal support, friends, and the good fortune of platonic love. Every time Venus goes retrograde something about these areas of life will be reviewed, heightened, or healed. This specific Venus retrograde connects your deepest therapeutic processes with your work projects and the communal support you need to get them off the ground.

How can you let more support in? Who helps you hold it all? Who gives you the perspective you need to do the work you do?

So much has changed in your professional life, and will continue to. So much is changing in regards to the social circles you travel in and will continue to. Make sure that you are doing the deeper investigations into the nature of those changes so that liberation is possible. This astrology wants radical departures, not just a change of scenery. Your soul is craving freedom to create what is needed. The ego might settle on a superficial rearrangement every once in a while, but you know you are yearning for something truly revolutionary.

October’s new moon helps you initiate something powerful with a group of people. You are in need of communities that know how to tear down outdated and harmful structures so that you can rebuild for the good of all. The new moon wants you to plant seeds with others that develop over the next 6 months into something truly transformational. Envision yourself as one part of a larger whole . A network of beautiful humans working towards collective justice and liberation with a massive amount of irreverence, humor and contagious joy.

Horoscope for Capricorn & Capricorn Rising

We initiate one another into conscious awareness with every honest admission we make about our fears, desires, and deep set wounds. As Venus retrogrades through your 11th house of friends, and the covens you need to gather with to maintain perspective, you get ample opportunities to have these kinds of profound exchanges with others. Finding ways to create containers where healing can happen with others can and does transform your situation. We need to pull strength from every source we have access to when we are under the kind of pressure October doles out.

Find those spaces in your life. Find the people that are invested in having a real connection. Find ways to work through the difficult issues that honest intimacy always evokes. If and when you realize that some of your friendships aren’t built to be the vessels of honesty you need right now, fear not about pairing back on your social connections. This time might feel a little leaner than others, but the quality of care you’ll be able to offer your nearest and dearest will satisfy your yearning for connection.

As a rule, Venus is always in charge of  your 5th house of creative energy and pursuits and your 10th house of career and pubic roles. As this Venus retrograde unfolds, you’ll find these areas of life receive their own transformations.

The new moon in Libra picks up on the career shifts that are the most imperative for you to make at the moment. It asks you what old versions of your professional or public self you need to release. It asks you to stop carrying the weight of what isn’t working and exchange it for space to experiment with what might. This isn’t a time of doing the same old, same old. This is a time to try something new, to try something with higher stakes than you might normally allow for, and to try to give yourself the opportunities to invest in your desires publicly and professionally. Envision yourself taking up the public  space that feels most congruous, exciting, and revolutionary for you in this moment.

August 11th

2:58 AM PTNew Moon/Partial Solar Eclipse at 18° of Leo

The last of these Lions, there will be no more solar eclipses in Leo for some time. Save for one lunar eclipse in Leo in January 2019, these beasts are nearing the end of their hunt with us.

Eclipses come in prides. Groupings. Happening every 6 months, eclipses will occur in (mostly) the same signs for roughly 2 years. The first eclipse in Leo happened in February 2017, the last in January 2019.

Take a look back at what you have developed over the last year and a half. You’ll most likely notice that you have become more aware of your hunger, desire, and need to self-express, create, and infuse your life with more honest expressions of your nature, talents, and gifts.

Leo rules the sun. The sun’s light is eclipsed during a solar eclipse. The sun is symbolic of our life purpose in astrology. It is our Essential Self. When solar eclipses occur, the shadow aspect of ourselves and our lives is revealed. In Leo, this shadow has to do with our ego. Our image. Our inflation.

What gets in the way of living out our life’s purpose must be identified. Interrogated. Deconstructed. Repurposed for its energetic value. No part of self ever need be destroyed, but our unhelpful behaviors and self-sabotaging ways need to be composted. Broken down so that the energetic value inherent in them can be used more intelligently.

This solar eclipse in Leo helps us discover the parts of our personalities that betray our best intentions. The defenses that we unconsciously erect that inhibit opportunity from flowing to us and through us. The envy within us that constricts abundance from befriending us. The scarcity mentality that our egos think is protecting us but is really just impeding our ability to grow into and through the challenges presented.

Ruled by the heart, Leo needs love. Appreciation. Attention. The same is true for aspects of self that are suffering, cause our suffering, or only know how to suffer. We cannot reject our less attractive, less accomplished, or less socially acceptable selves. That only strengthens their feeling of being unworthy. It only strengthens any inner rebellion brewing. It only gives us more reason to self-sabotage.

We must invite these aspects of self in. Into a space of no-nonsense loving kindness. Into a paradigm of compassion and accountability. Into our conscious awareness so that they have a place to rest, heal, and reveal the true energetic value that they possess.

August 12th

Mars Rx (re)enters Capricorn

In Capricorn until September 10th, Mars will have spent 3 of the 12 months of 2018 in this sign. With Saturn and Pluto also in Capricorn (and also currently retrograde), the area of your chart that contains Capricorn is being treated to a thorough review. Having Mars, Saturn, and Pluto in the same sign, or part of our chart, is an intensive in taking responsibility for our part of any problem, situation, or circumstance we find ourselves in. For some this may feel like breaking point, a time where we have taken on a little too much, a time to say no to new projects for the moment.

As Mars reviews the part of sky it moved through back in mid-May 2018, we too get to return to what we were doing then. Whatever we were working through is now back to be re-worked, re-viewed, and reintegrated into our lives. We’ve learned. We’ve grown. We’ve made the adjustments that were necessary.

Now it’s time to finish this work with some finesse.

August 18th

Mercury in Leo sextile Venus in Libra, both at 11°

Mercury in Leo stations direct at 11°

This is one of the most affirming ways to complete a retrograde cycle. Given the fact that the sextile traditionally belongs to Venus, this is a loving, affirming, and fortuitous exit for Mercury. As the planet begins its forward movement it gets the gift of Venus’s blessings. This combo asks us to move forward with sweetness. With love. With the aesthetics of adoration to adorn ourselves with. With the last eclipse complete, and Mercury now beginning to move forward, we are given the chance to digest an aspect of the lessons learned over July and August.

August 19th

Jupiter in Scorpio trine Neptune in Pisces, both at 15°

This is the third and final trine between these two idealists. Third time is hopefully the charm for us all as Jupiter, Queen of Exuberant Optimism allies itself with Neptune, Mistress of Imaginative Inspiration. This is a time to dream big and believe in the possibility of making every aspect of it into a reality.

August 22nd – August 25th

Sun enters Virgo

Sun in Virgo trines Saturn in Capricorn and Uranus in Taurus, all at 2°

This year’s onset of Virgo Season (beginning August 22nd) is gifted with an auspicious offering from Saturn and Uranus. Forming a trine to both (exact on August 25th), the sun’s first couple of days in Virgo exemplify the innovation that we are able to implement when we work at mastering the form of any given thing. This aspect creates an  opportunity for us to take what we have already worked on and use it in new and groundbreaking ways. The wheel needs no re-invention, it just needs to be put to modern use.

This blessing is bestowed especially upon all those whose birthday falls between the 22nd and the 26th of August. This year you have extra encouragement to experiment with what works in your life and some ease putting it to use.

Aries & Aries Rising

No one person, place, or worldly position can create a life of meaning for me. I do not look outside for what can only be fulfilled within. I do not try to get love, praise, or power from the world. I look for ways in which I can put more love into the structures I enter. I wonder how I might put more praise upon what is deserving of it but hardly gets it. I seek to put more of my energy towards deconstructing harmful paradigms set up within me so that I can better recognize them and deconstruct them out in the world.

I know that every time I create a space for my own healing, I am making a powerful statement to myself and my life. Declaring that I too am worthy of such a radical act of love, I reclaim any power I gave the world to dictate how well I am doing.

This is where I put my focus. This is where I seek to build a life. This is where I come to refill and refuel. I gather myself around the fires of my creative capacities. This is the flame that I am devoted to maintaining. This is the alchemical process that I abandon my ego to. It is not about what hasn’t happened. My power lies within what I am creating in this moment.

The more I let go of what I think my life should look like, the more I am able to align myself with the regenerative energy of my creative process. I am using my time to discover, uncover, and validate the talent I naturally possess and the work ethic needed to help this goldmine do what it came here to.

Please join me for A Workshop for the Eclipse Season Part II where you will receive an in-depth reading and ritual for your sign for the solar eclipse/new moon in Leo and the astrology of the lunar cycle from August 11th – September 8th.

Taurus & Taurus Rising

The more I give to my inner life, the more secure I feel. The more I allow myself the opportunity to heal, the more peace I get to experience. The more time I spend on getting myself sorted out internally, the more easily my days, weeks, months, and life flows.

I prioritize my well-being. My needs need not feel neglected. The more love and appreciation I allow myself to feel, the more I am able to witness it in the world. The more understanding I give myself, the more patience I have for the ups and downs of my life. The more attention I give my unfolding, the more I am able to honor the growth that happens, be it fast or slow.

With this eclipse I commit to creating, honoring, and protecting the temples that house my most profound transformations. I honor the containers that make my metamorphosis possible. I know that I need spaces and places where I can be tender, messy, and unformed. I give great thanks for the homes that let me be unsure, unfinished, and undone. I have endless gratitude for the families that let me shine half-dressed and lipstick a mess, dancing alongside me like we don’t care who’s watching. I know that the lineages I come from are full of triumphs and losses, fears and fabulousness, unforgivable actions and incredible offerings. I am the composite of all this, but I am more than the sum of it and it is my job to figure out how to heal what I am holding and discover who and what I am outside of these stories.

Please join me for A Workshop for the Eclipse Season Part II where you will receive an in-depth reading and ritual for your sign for the solar eclipse/new moon in Leo and the astrology of the lunar cycle from August 11th – September 8th.

Gemini & Gemini Rising

I honor the framework of my days. I hang them along the weeks, months, and years of my life with great care. I make sure that they are broad enough to encompass the scope of my vision. Sturdy enough to encapsulate the collages of all my dreams. Able to compliment the shape of my drive.

Each day is a temple that I enter, praise, and worship with my actions. I am devoted to discovering my impact through each communication I have. I am dedicated to understanding the power of my thought process. I am on the look-out for the ways in which I speak against myself. Sending the world mixed messages confuses my chances of having direct access to opportunities meant for me.

I iron out my energetic kinks by aligning my thoughts and actions. My values and goals connect without contortion. There is no incongruence between my beliefs and my daily habits. I do not half-ass what I believe in. I am fully present for the impact that my actions have so that I can also be fully present for the benefits.

With this eclipse I remember that I am worthy of receiving what I work so hard to achieve. This world owes me nothing but I owe myself the chance to see what I can do with what I have been given each and every day.

Please join me for A Workshop for the Eclipse Season Part II where you will receive an in-depth reading and ritual for your sign for the solar eclipse/new moon in Leo and the astrology of the lunar cycle from August 11th – September 8th.

Cancer & Cancer Rising

I know the value of my shine. The worth of my well-being. The riches that a good glow bestows upon me. I don’t waste time worrying about what others get wrong about my work; instead I do what I can to reveal the depth, richness, and beauty of what I have been given to work with. As much as I can, I use everything that happens in my life as an opportunity. To heal. To reveal to myself what my life is capable of. To wonder into the future.

Imagination is just as important as action.

The more I can envision what I want to create, the more natural it feels when I am doing so. The more time I spend feeling the emotional energy of my daydreams, the quicker I can recognize  when I am in-line with them in real time. The more I honor what inspires me, the more inspiration can naturally flow into the forms that I am constructing.

I know that healing my relationship to myself is what transforms every aspect of my world. What I want to experience materially is a reflection of what I want to express energetically. I let myself dream of big, beautiful futures, but I prioritize the feeling of well-being ahead of any material gifts I am hoping to create. Without it, not much is worth much.

Love is the cornerstone of my empire. Nothing brilliant gets built without it. Nothing magnificent exists in opposition to it. Nothing about my success is pleasurable unless I view it as the essence of my fortune. I am here to learn how to shine while experiencing the sheer joy of creating my life, my work, and my world each and every day.

Please join me for A Workshop for the Eclipse Season Part II where you will receive an in-depth reading and ritual for your sign for the solar eclipse/new moon in Leo and the astrology of the lunar cycle from August 11th – September 8th.

Leo & Leo Rising

I believe that I have the right to exist as I am, at this time, and in this way. I am made in the image of my maker, even if too few recognize it. Even when the world may have forgotten, disappeared, diminished, and disavowed itself from me and my kind.

The world is not where I seek approval. To my own self I am true and that truth is what I give the world.

I may need love from my fellows, friends, and siblings, but I won’t wait for anyone to make room for me. I make space for myself and I invite those in that need the warmth. A hearth to gather round. An encouraging space to experience reflection. A theatre where we can all be applauded for our natural beauty, talents, and gifts.

I know that as I grow more affectionate towards myself, I allow space for others to do the same. I know that the more I am able to witness, hold, and share my pain, the more I let others know that change is possible. Change is challenging. Change is a constant choice.

Butterflies are horrific creatures when you catch them mid-metamorphosis. If we focus on the gruesome stages of our growth we’ll never find our wings. I remind myself and others of the importance of persistence and the rewards of determination.

Virgo & Virgo Rising

I am developing a deeper relationship to myself. A more honest one. A more forgiving one. A more relentless one. I am willing to witness the parts of myself that I might not be proud of. The parts that have never had a chance. The parts that have felt everything was their fault. The parts that don’t yet know how to process shame.

This journey isn’t always easy, simple, or straightforward. My healing can demand that I dig around an issue for what feels like a millennia before I get to its core. But once I do, the truth, energy, and personal  understanding found feels like a kind of justice.

Reflections always do.

What feels unloved, misunderstood, or undervalued within me will persist the more I resist it. With this eclipse I rededicate myself to understanding the wealth trapped, embedded, and held by these complicated queens within.

Being a leader of my life demands that I do as much reflecting as acting, as much introspection as creation, as much meditation as interrupting the world when needed. I’m here to build with all that I have been given. I am here to channel the innovative solutions that are seeking to move through me. I am here to discover all the ways in which the dreams I have can be manifested around me. I am here to enjoy, discover, and develop my inner life as well as my external one.

Libra & Libra Rising

What I build is made more powerful by those that share it with me. What I create is made more meaningful by those that hold it with me. What I desire to make manifest is fueled by those that are able to dream alongside me.

Getting myself in the most resonant social circles is the greatest growth enhancer I can offer myself right now. Making an effort to show up for the causes that are close to my heart strengthens its ability to give and receive love. Investing my energy in the spaces built for me and my community empowers me, reminding me of what is possible when we come together. Lifting up those around me, whose work moves me, helps all those that are seeking the same dream as me.

I know how strong we are together so I focus on the places where our talents intersect and our dreams compliment one another.

The issues that I work on with others allow for a more honest relationship between us. The issues that need more time to resolve themselves are given the space that they need. Sometimes what a problem needs is respect. Respect for the intelligence of those involved, and the intelligence of the solution to naturally reveal itself when the time is right. I honor the rhythms of my relationships and know that a well-timed pause can clarify, heal, and help a lot.

Scorpio & Scorpio Rising

This year has taught me that no dream is too vast, no desire too outlandish, no yearning too tall for me to reach. This year I have learned that it is my duty to expand as well as deepen. To explore as well as to invest. To include as well as to protect. This year has asked me to open the parts of my heart that wanted to stay closed for business. Open my mind to ideas that would force me to outgrow my own comfort zones. Open myself to versions of my life that I never dreamed would feel like home.

Saturday’s eclipse asks me what I need to offer to my profession. What I personally possess that might help move the needle. What I dream of being able to offer the field that I most want to impact.

What I am beginning now will grow over the next six months. I confidently pour my energy into what I want to bloom and become. I spend time developing the projects that most reflect my values. The projects that recharge my batteries. The projects that realign me with what helps me feel alive. I don’t worry about what others have done at this professional point. I don’t worry about what others think I should do at this particular juncture. I don’t focus on what should have happened already. I focus all of my personal potency, magic, and creative powers towards what feels like personal and professional freedom. I envision myself in the spaces, situations, and circumstances where I will shine brightly and believe fully in the power of that kind of alignment.

Sagittarius & Sagittarius Rising

I remember to look at my current situation through a long-term lens. I know that not everything begins or ends with what is taking place now. I know that whatever is coming up for healing or for understanding will be used as part of a long-term strategy session for my life.

My success lies within my ability to get what I can out of the problems that come about. My success lies within the philosophy that I frame my problems within. My success is dependent on my ability to find the meaning in all the moments of my life, whether celebratory or stopping me in my tracks.

Bumps along my path are an important part of understanding how to tread it. How to hold my heart through the rougher spots. How to help myself make sense of what feels unfair, unhelpful, or unjust.

What I am learning through the issues I face at work will help me to create better containers for future projects. What comes up around money, assets, or resources is sure to connect me to some sore spots, but as I untangle the personal from the financial, I get clearer on the ways in which I can take back my power, give others their issues to hold for themselves, and find ways to lift up the truth of any situation. I am here to work on what matters and to minimize the drama of what impedes me from doing so.

Capricorn & Capricorn Rising

With extra emphasis placed on my endurance, well-placed efforts, and ability to be dedicated to the projects that refuel me, I have no regrets about the time and energy that I put into all I am working on. This moment is one that teaches me about the impact of directing my energy. The power of no regrets. The importance of taking my time to make the decisions right for me.

There’s no need to rush a decision, but once I know what I need to do I waste not an ounce of my energy in doubt about it.

Saturday’s eclipse helps me to understand the most important collaborations currently in my life. I know that partnering successfully is dependent on all parties being clear about the terms and conditions of agreements made. The more I understand what it is I have to offer, and want to offer, to those I am working with, the clearer I am about how to do so. The less energy I waste on worrying about what isn’t mine to give, the better I can perform. The less energy I waste on trying to be, give, or get something that isn’t mine, the more proficiently I can accomplish my tasks. The less energy I offer to situations that aren’t asking, looking or appreciative, the more I have to give the projects that awaken, support and encourage my growth.

Aquarius & Aquarius Rising

My relationships are portals of profound transformation. As they need more from me, I am challenged to give more to myself. As they demand a deeper connection to me, I am challenged to forge a deeper connection to myself. What they need me to give to them, I commit to giving to myself in equal, if not greater, measure.

I am only as good of a partner to others as I can be to myself.

I listen closely to those that are closest to me. I listen to myself as I take in what they are communicating. I know that whatever their messages evoke within me is mine to sort through, sort out, and seek the meaning of. Those that test me the most right now are most likely bringing me potent lessons for my growth and my getting it together.

Time spent sorting through the feelings I have will bring me the insight I need. None of this work is wasted. Each reaction that gets set off within me is an energetic engine light signaling what within me needs tending to. If I don’t take a moment to do a little repair, the damage could be much more than I am able to bear.

I honor Saturday’s solar eclipse by clearing any energetic clutter that has piled up in my committed partnerships. I want to be able to build and bring into being whatever these unions are capable of creating so I do my part in preparing them, loving them, and listening to their needs.

Pisces & Pisces Rising

The more room I make for inspiration, the more of it arrives. With ease. With greater clarity, specificity, and direction. The more I work with this gift, the more it is strengthened and able to point me in directions with astounding precision.

Part of working with my intuition is being able to believe in myself enough to follow up the guidance with action. With commitment. With a resolve to work with it however I can. Developing confidence in my ability to do so is empowering. Knowing how to get myself to work hard on something is key to getting the best out of my days. Knowing what work projects to begin and be a beast about is what Saturday’s eclipse is all about.

I know that the more that I find and trust the work environments that inspire my self-expression, the better my performance will be. I know that the projects that excite me are also the ones that I’ll be able to find rejuvenation through. I know that my energy is best placed in the containers where I am encouraged to find creative solutions, strategies, and ways of working. I’m not here to stay the same. I’m here to challenge myself to reach new heights, experience new depths, and decide, at every moment, to radically embrace my gifts, finding all the ways in which I can share them with the world.
