Do not tame my dragon, beloved. Come to know him. Do not tame my Starflower. Give her room to bloom. For neither was born to kneel before the other, nor to wear the ancient chains of dominion disguised as devotion. I do not ask your fire to become smaller so that I may hold it. I do not ask your waters to become still so that I may understand their depths. Bring me your thunder. Bring me your wildness. Bring me the parts of you that have never learned to speak softly. And I shall answer not with a cage, but with an architecture spacious enough for both our names. Look where our foreheads meet. There is no throne. There is no conqueror. There is a luminous interval, and within it, the first seed of a world neither could have drawn alone. The gold does not devour the blue. The blue does not extinguish the gold. Their currents turn, exchange, and return—each carrying something new, each retaining its own centre. We need not borrow the names of ancient gods to honour what is unfolding. Let the dragons remain dragons. Let the flower remain wild. And let the space between them become a civilisation.
