$90 Back in Seniors’ Pockets: A First-Ever Medicare Payment. President Trump announced that the federal government will send one-time payments of $90 to more than 20 million Medicare enrollees to help cover their Part B premiums. The money comes from the Medicare Improvement Fund, which Congress funded with $2 billion but no Administration had ever used. Most eligible seniors will receive a direct deposit in early October; others will receive a check at the address they have on file with Medicare. Seniors can call 1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227)to check their eligibility.
