General Smith Tells White Hats Complaining About Affordability and Iran War To Suck It Up and Trust Trump’s Plan

General Eric M. Smith last week held a closed-door meeting with 100 White Hats to assuage grievances and reinforce the paramountcy of “Trusting the Plan,” Real Raw News has learned.
The terse but productive gathering followed days of scuttlebutt, with troops bewailing the cost of beef and fuel, the duration of the Iran conflict, Trump’s Truth Social posting sprees, low deportation numbers, and diminished capacity to prosecute Deep State criminals. According to a White Hat source, a Marine had ‘mistakenly’ added the general to an enlisted men’s chat group on a popular messaging app, and a considerable part of the messages included an airing of perceived gripes.
While adhering to operational security, the group’s participants objected to dependents being forced to find jobs—or second jobs—to keep the lights on and maybe enjoy a savory steak once a week. A combat-hardened E-6 who lives off-post with his wife and two adolescent children lamented that between his base salary and Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA), he couldn’t afford his light bill, basic sustenance, renters insurance, car insurance, and his wife’s hysterectomy. “I’m broke as fuck,” he wrote in a text. “What am I supposed to do, FFS, wear a rubber with my wife? And a 3-pack of those is over ten bucks. We can’t afford another child, and the VA won’t cover surgery.”
“It’s wrong, man, truly wrong,” a Marine replied to his post.
Another Marine, an E-4 at Camp Pendleton, asked the chat group why the commander-in-chief, amid miserable approval ratings and the genesis of yet another forever war, favored late-night binge posting AI slop to Truth Social and cavorting with Natalie Harp instead of “bombing the shit out of Iran” and ending a conflict that has, to date, cost taxpayers 40 billion dollars, excluding the cost of munitions replacement and repairing damaged US infrastructure in the Middle East. Replying to him, an E-7 at 29 Palms wrote, “Democrats will steal the midterms because we’re sitting on our ass or on boats.”
And yet another Marine posted that if Trump had put White Hats in charge of handling deportations, they would’ve deported five million illegal aliens as opposed to the 700,000 ICE has deported as of September 2026. “He picked the wrong people. All these damn illegal criminals and Somali Muslims would be toast now. But no—a few of his friends, Tom Hohman and Steven Miller, hate the military, and so we’re sidelined.”
Per our source, General Smith scrolled through hundreds of complaints before deciding to summon not only enlisted but also officers to a meeting at Pendton on September 10, where he and members of the White Hat Council implored their men to “pull themselves up by their bootstraps and stop whining over minutia.”
“President Trump is a patriot, and he has long-term goals,” General Smith reportedly told his men. “If anyone has doubts, you have options, and we can show the door. You know what you signed up for. Yeah, you’re pissed off about beef, diesel, the war. You’re given info on a need-to-know basis, and you don’t need to know everything; follow orders that abide by the Constitution. President Trump, and he’s a master strategist, put plans to paper 10 years ago. You think he’s crazy, gone bonkers, sold out to Israel and Big Tech? You’re fucking wrong. President Trump’s every move exposes Deep State corruption. He is POTUS; we are Marines, White Hats, and where he leads, we follow.”
Several attendees had circulated screenshots of supermarket receipts and gas station prices. Others pointed to casualty reports and stalled negotiations in the Iran theater. A smaller cluster objected to the volume of the President’s posts, arguing that constant messaging diluted seriousness. A fourth group cited official deportation statistics they said fell short of campaign-era promises.
“Shut the fuck up,” Gen. Smith said. “Are you Marines or fucking crybabies? President Trump is a genius, and here you are thinking he’s screwing us, but no, he’s saving us, saving the United States from the Deep State and socialist/communist takeover.”
Gen. Smith framed dissent as surface noise, white noise meant to dwarf Trump’s towering achievements.
“You say you’re piss-poor; stop eating at McDonald’s or Red Lobster every night. You can always eat for free on base. Gas is expensive, and, yes, utility prices are a little high right now, but it’s a small price to pay for what’s coming—the Storm.” The Iran campaign, Gen. Smith continued, was never intended as a short punitive strike; it was a multi-phase operation to dismantle proxy infrastructure and expose hidden funding streams. Social-media volume, in his telling, served as both distraction and signal—keeping adversaries guessing while loyalists received coded encouragement. Deportation totals, he added, reflected legal and logistical constraints that would increase massively once certain “judicial and bureaucratic nodes” were cleared.
“You wanted speed,” Gen. Smith said. “Speed without structure is a riot. We are not doing a riot. We are doing a controlled demolition of a system that has had seventy years to entrench itself. That takes longer than a news cycle and longer than a fiscal quarter.”
He spent several minutes on operational security, warning members against public speculation that could “telegraph moves.” He also cautioned against treating every price spike or delayed announcement as proof of betrayal. “If you measure victory by the cost of chuck roast this month, you will always find a reason to peel off,” he said. “The plan is not a grocery list.”
