Beyond Right and Wrong, there is A Field… – June 7, 2026

Recently, I had a dream that has stayed with me. I was with a group of people, and we were heading to a party at what appeared to be a hotel. But when we entered, there were no rooms. The inside was one massive open warehouse-like space.

On the first floor, there was loud music, dancing, excitement, and a feeling of celebration. At first, it felt fun and harmless, but then I noticed the energy in the room beginning to shift. I could feel that some sort of ceremony was about to begin, and I realized it was rooted in darker occult energy.

As I watched, I could see energetic tendrils moving through the room. They looked almost like vines or cords, wrapping themselves around the people who wanted to participate. These cords would trap and bind.

What struck me was that the majority were not inherently evil. They were wounded in a very human way. These were people who wanted control over life, over outcomes, over reality itself. Underneath the ritual was fear and a profound inability to trust life’s natural unfolding. They wanted mastery because surrender felt unsafe to them.

I turned to the group I came with and told them I could not stay there. Everyone followed me as we moved up to the second floor.

The energy there was completely different. It felt lighter, more spiritual, more “high vibrational.” People were dancing, laughing, hugging, and genuinely seemed kind-hearted. But after a while, I noticed that another ceremony was about to begin. I intuitively knew this one would be considered “light work” or healing work, yet as I observed the room, I saw the exact same energetic tendrils beginning to wrap around the participants. These cords would trap and bind.

That was the moment the dream became incredibly clear to me. The bindings on the second floor looked no different than the bindings on the first.

The people on this level believed they were saving the world, healing humanity, fighting darkness, or being warriors for the light. But beneath it, there was still attachment. Still a subtle attempt to control life through spirituality rather than power. The costumes had changed, but the mechanism underneath had not.

When I told the group I needed to leave again, most of them did not understand, they told me I was crazy. This time only a few came with me.

We went up to the third floor, and everything changed.
The people there also carried a beautiful energy, but it was deeply grounded and honest. No one seemed to be performing or wearing an identity. No one was trying to appear dark or light, superior or awakened. They understood that both light and shadow exist within human beings, and that consciousness comes from recognizing this and choosing, moment by moment, how we wish to respond.

Because they understood their own humanity, their own fallibility, they carried very little judgment toward others. I felt immediately safe, seen and welcomed. Loved in a very quiet and genuine way.

What stood out most was that they never performed a ritual. They gathered together, connected, but they didn’t attempt to dominate, control, or spiritually orchestrate reality. Their focus was simply on being deeply connected to themselves, and through this, they embraced life through presence.

When I woke up, I realized the dream was not about darkness versus light. It was about the many ways the ego can disguise itself. Sometimes it seeks control through power. Sometimes it seeks control through spirituality. Sometimes it hides inside the identity of the healer, the savior, the awakened one, or the “good” person.

But true consciousness has far less to do with performing light and far more to do with being honest enough to hold both our darkness and our divinity without becoming consumed by either. I was instantly reminded of the Rumi quote:

“Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I’ll meet you there.”

Sending you all lots of love,
Jenny
