The good news making the circuit on social media today is a deserving ending. Sometimes you have to SHOW people. I mentioned to my other half a months or so ago that Colbert was on his way out and his reply basically suggested because it’s “The Late Show” that no one would ever get fired or cancelled—like they’re gods or something.
It was announced last summer, but Colbert has been doing what he was told all this time. Or else. From the Forbes article. Foreshadowing?

If Colbert is still alive, he may not be long for this world. And that reminds me, the pictures I saw of Jeff Bezos this week don’t look like the old Bezos. These POS cabalists are getting picked off left, right, and centre. Buh-bye and good riddance.
And in the past 30 minutes in NASCAR news we just found out that Kyle Busch is gone, at 41. No details about how an athlete of this calibre just up and dies, but that’s typical, isn’t it? He was also with Childress Racing. Anyone seen Dale Earnhardt Sr. around?

Even the Internet is better today but our movie stopped a couple of times last night. Things are definitely weird.
Tomorrow is Friday, it’s the “May Two-Four weekend” in the North Forty and Memorial Day in the US of A. The weather looks awful in the Toronto area, which is why I wanted to leave. When I was a kid we used to go camping this weekend, at the beach. It was warm and sunny and the leaves popped out on all the trees making it suddenly green. Shorts, t-shirts, bare feet, partying, picnic food, boom boxes, boating… not any more. They’re getting all our rain and it’s cold. If you’re taking 4 days this weekend—good for you and enjoy. Yes. We saw Dale Sr. Seats behind Trump at a rally long time ago. It doesn’t seem that long, but it was. I don’t remember tge year, but it wasn’t for this term. I’ve seen Jr and his mother. I jave pictures from TV. LOL
