We are already eternal, you can’t kill our spirit/soul. Just these screwed up genetically altered bodies when upgraded can be immortal but that isn’t eternal, and immortality just means you live a very very very long time but can be killed. The ETs are immortal with their technology and live thousands of years, perhaps it’d be great to live that long as if we can keep our minds sane and not become like these immortals who want to be in charge of others like they do. Mental illness of the immortals…LOL That should be a great story.
