A State of Emergency has been declared in Iceland after the country has experienced over 1000 earthquakes in the Grindavik area. The Grindavik village has a population of 4000 & Icelandic authorities are now fearing that a volcanic eruption may be eminent which could impact the popular hot springs resort the Blue Lagoon. Evacuation plans are in place.
This is the mainstream story being told, but there’s much more that is not being told. However there’s not enough info to come to any solid conclusions yet.
