Niger’s military government has reportedly agreed to hold direct talks with ECOWAS, according to the head of a Nigeria’s delegation after a meeting with Niger’s new leadership, in a bid to put an end to the crisis in the region. A local journalist from Nigeria, Timothy Obiezu, reports.
