Nova Scotia fire teams battle record-breaking wildfire ~ June 3, 2023

Thick smoke from raging wildfires have blanketed large areas of Shelburne County’s Sandy Point and Barrington Lake in Nova Scotia, Canada. Local authorities have described the wildfire as the largest in the region’s history. Over 20,000 hectares have been burnt and flames reached a height of nearly 100 meters.
