Magnitude 6.2 Quake in Pacific off New Zealand — *** Depth: “0.0km” *** Tsunami Warning Buoys OUT OF SERVICE -OFFLINE ~ June 1, 2023

A Magntiude 6.2 earthquake has taken place in the South Pacific Ocean, 468 miles from southern New Zealand, but the US Geological Survey says the depth of the wuake is ZERO point ZERO kilometers!   Right AT the surface????   That could trigger a tsunami, but the warning buoys are all OFFLINE (broken).  

The quake took place at 10:21 PM eastern US time.

Here’s a screenshot from the US Geological Survey:

 Worse, according to the National Data Buoy Center, the U.S. Tsunami Warning Buoys down there . . . . are OFFLINE and OUT OF SERVICE!   No one knows if a Tsunami is coming.

This was the first thing I saw when I woke up. Yet, when I looked there was silence across NZ media despite it being in our waters. Not on Geonet either.

Is our media totally useless or perhaps earthquakes have political affiliations these days?

I could be wrong (most times I am) but I think “by definition” an earthquake has to take place IN THE EARTH… otherwise it’s a bomb blast. The 0.0 kilometers depth doesn’t make sense. Any comments?

Sure is odd the buoys are “out of service” and that is the same crap they pulled a year or towage when that other volcano situation was going on and go figure they were out of service then too. These vile,rat-bastards all deserve to HANG for their shady antics.

The sea floor is extremely shallow in that location. Some points nearby are only 25 feet below the surface. The exact point of the quake is about 600 feet deep. This is because New Zealand is the tallest part of a submerged continent known as “Zealandia.” That is not too shallow for “ off book” nuke testing, though. It is also not too shallow for something to run aground with a thud. Like a submarine. I am dubious about all the tsunami buoys being offline in one of the most seismically active regions in the world. Calling B.S. on that. They may, however have been conveniently ‘turned off for maintenance’ if there was a planned event down under in an area with very near zero sea lane traffic. Not falling for a quake at the top of the sea floor in the Macquarie Transform Fault. A transform fault is a break in the crust where one part moves up or down relative to the other side of the boundary, similar to bending a piece of cardboard till a crease forms. These are not known for large quakes or Tsunamis like overthrust or strike/slip faults are. Not buying it unless Zealandia is rising to the surface relative to the surrounding sea floor. Wouldn’t be the first time they hid a nuke test in a remote location in an accessible ocean depth and called it a quake. Anyone remember the mystery quake off the South Carolina coast at the edge of the continental shelf back in 2009-2010 or so? There is a VERY interesting story behind that ‘quake.’
