In the Ukrainian Army, mass desertion and refusal to carry out orders have begun to appear, with a typical example of the execution of a Ukrainian battalion commander by one of his captains, as the latter refused to send his men against the Russians to one of the Donbas fronts.

Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said the war in Ukraine could last decades, with periods of fighting interrupted by ceasefires, adding that ” if the Ukrainians are given nuclear weapons then we will strike first”. “The West fails to realize that the confrontation between Russia and the NATO countries may at some point lead to a preventive nuclear strike ,” he said characteristically.

“There are certain irreversible rules of war. If it is nuclear weapons deliveries to Ukraine, a pre-emptive strike should be carried out. The West still fails to grasp this. It will be done, under certain conditions .’

Commenting on the expanding list of weapons and military equipment that NATO countries are sending to Ukraine, Medvedev said it is very likely that the Kiev government “will receive warplanes ” and ” maybe even nuclear weapons” .

“This conflict will last a very long time, probably decades,” N. Medvedev said, according to RIA . “As long as there is such a government there, we will have (…) three years of truce, two years of war and again from the beginning” .

He even added that “There is no doubt that Ukraine has no future in its current form. It is necessary to destroy the essence and nature of the Nazi government of Kiev.” N. Medvedev essentially revealed that there can be no peace as long as Ukraine has the same governmental orientation.

This means that the Russians will not be limited to only 20% of the territories they have brought under their control (along with Crimea).Their main goal is that all regions with a strong Russian-speaking element and then the rest of Ukraine be a neutral zone between Russia and NATO. #Medvedev :

There is no doubt that Ukraine has no future in its current form. It is necessary to destroy the very nature of the Nazi government in Kiev. Otherwise the conflict could drag on perpetually, with three years of truce, two years of conflict, rinse and repeat.
