The statement given by the Iranian Navy said, “After the warning, the plane was prevented from entering the country’s skies without authorization”.

A report by Tasnim, the semi-official news agency in Iran said that Iranian naval forces detected the aircraft over the Sea of Oman and “forced it to avoid the country’s airspace after issuing a warning,” citing the Iranian Navy.

Tasnim said that the U.S. reconnaissance aircraft “heeded the warning” and stayed away from the Iranian Aerial border, returning to the “international routes”.

A report by Reuters said that the opening line of the Tasnim report said that the aircraft “crossed into Iranian airspace” but then contradicted itself later in the report by saying it had not entered Iranian skies after the warning.

I reviewed the Tasnim report and there is no such line in the current report regarding the incident, which could mean that Tasnim altered their report after Reuters had reviewed it.
