I’ve been thinking about this since last week: 

I find it strange that the first use of “death” is in Genesis 2:17 when talking about Adam not eating off the tree or he will die. Then the last enemy of Jesus that he puts under His feet is Death (and hell/hades) in Revelation 20:14. Thanatos & Hades. god of Death and god of the underworld. 

Is death a construct from God that He created as a consequence of sin or is it represented as a tool for one of the fallen? Obviously, He creates all things so those two are the last thrown into the lake of fire or should I say lightning/plasma lake.

Notice that Lucifer/Satan/the devil isn’t the last to be punished. It is death/Thanatos and hell/Hades.

Now I was reading Romans 5:12-13 tonight and this hit me like a ton of bricks. “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.” We see sin came into the world through Adam and death came into the world through sin. We already knew that right? But like I mentioned before, is death a construct of God, being that He gives life? We know all things are created by Him, so is death or Thanatos similar to the angel of death? Is death meant to do Gods bidding in a sense? Then I kept reading on…

“For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.” We know that sin can’t be recognized without a law to tell you it’s a sin. How would you ever know sin is sin without knowing right from wrong, because of the law that tells you that you committed a wrong doing ie sin. Right? So sin came into the world through Adam but did Adam know that he was about to commit a sin? Absolutely. Go to Genesis 2:16. “And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” Did you see it? The very first COMMAND or LAW from God to Adam, the very first man. This is how sin came about into the world through Adam, by the law, just like Paul mentioned to the Romans. Then came death. 

But it doesn’t end there. The next time tsâvâh (command) is used is in Genesis 3:11. “And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?” God questions Adam as to how he knew he was naked, then He mentions how He was commanded to not eat of it. The serpent/nachash literally took God’s words from Eves lips and distorted them to essentially get Adam to break the very first Commandment of God. He broke God’s command, sinned and then came death. Pay attention to the model we are given here.

Now ironically this word for “command” translated in the Greek Septuagint is entellomai and it’s first used in Mark 4:6 and Luke 4:10. I’ll use Luke as the example, “For it is written, He shall give his angels charge (command) over thee, to keep thee: And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.” Jesus was in the wilderness fasting for 40 days and on the third and final temptation Satan took Him to the Pinnacle of the Temple and tempted Him to jump. He used God’s own words one again and distorted them by quoting Psalm 91:1. “It is an observation made long ago by Jerome, on Ps 91:11 that Satan, in citing this text, has left out the middle clause.” “And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.”

I just thought it was interesting that God’s first COMMAND is to not eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil but instead to eat from the tree of life. We can still apply that to our lives today. And Satan has no new tricks up his sleeve. He intended on distorting God’s word with not only Eve and then Adam through Eve, but with the Son of God. Same old lies and tricks. One final thing, through all my research I believe the tree of Life was physically on the mountains near the City of David near what they call the Temple Mount. And that the tree of knowledge of good and evil was on the Mount of Olives (this is why Jesus needed to be crucified near or at the spot that this tree stood that brought death through sin into this world). If this is true, taking Jesus to the Pinnacle of the Temple would be symbolic to taking Him to the top of the tree of life. He tempted the second Adam with casting himself down, just as Adam symbolically casted himself down in the “fall”. Do you see it?

Bible’s been edited, censored and changed over the centuries for political and material gain, not to mention that the blood of many innocents are scrawled upon its pages: The Pagans, the jews, the gays, the transfolks, the native Americans, the Africans, the Indians, etc. Not to mention look at bible thumpers……the Ku Klux Klan, the Pat Robertson brigades, homophobes, transphobes, the Vatican, just to name a few.

        To ME, it’s nothing more than a book, no different than ‘The Cat in the Hat”.

  2. CINDY, EVERYTHING YOU QUOTED FROM THE BIBLE IS TRUE FACTS, HOWEVER I BELIEVE YOU STILL MISS THE WHOLE POINT OF WHAT GOD WAS TEACHING HUMANITY FROM THE VERY BEGINNING.

    ONLY GODLESS AND LAWLESS PEOPLE WILL ALWAYS HATE EVERYTHING THAT HAS TO DO WITH GOD CREATOR AND HIS LIVING WORD JESUS CHRIST ITSELF.

    BEST EXEMPLE, IS PAUL WHOSE NAME MEANS “”LITTLE””, WE ARE TALKING ABOUT PAUL THE APOSTOL, WHO REPLACE JUDAS, THE TRAITOR.

    PAUL WAS AN ENFORCER OF THE LAW AND HE WAS A NO NONSENSE, TYPE OF A MAN WHO FOLLOW THE LAW TO THE LETTER, HE PERSECUTED THE BELIEVERS, AND SEND THEM TO PRISON, FOR NOT FOLLOWING THE LAW, BECAUSE CHRISTIANS WERE MENT TO BE EXCEMPT FROM THE LAW.

      The library had millions of texts, books, tablet, scrolls, and the like…covering everything from science, medicine, engineering, even maybe our REAL history. BUT, thanks to some IDIOT CHRISTIAN EMPEROR, who, for some reason, deemed all that knowledge as ‘heretic’, and had the place burnt down. In ONE night, that area of the world was plunged into what was to be known as ‘the dark ages’, where the masses rolled about in the mud, and the word of the church was the word of law (or ‘the good old days’, as you’d probably view it). And the bible as been edited, changed and censored over the centuries for both political and material gains.
      Knowledge is GOOD, ignorance is NOT bliss, it’s down right dangerous, and STUPID, Firebug.

      And your so-called ‘god’ sure has MEGA self esteem problems if he’s gonna get angry at beings being independent from him…..sounds more like some JEALOUS BITCH.

      Me, I’ll go with the aliens and live a GOOD life….not ‘making a living’, just ACTUALLY LIVING. The bible’s just saying, “be a happy slave….work hard….don’t think”, that’s handbook for guys like Klaus Schwab, Bill Gates, Henry Kissinger and their dark, Chimera and Archon masters.

        WHEN GOD THE FATHER SAID LET IT BE LIGHT THOSE WORDS THAT CAME OF GOD’S MOUTH WAS JESUS CHRIST, YET WITHOUT A HUMAN BODY FORM, EVERYTHING WAS CREATED BY HIS WORD (JESUS CHRIST) THE ONLY ONES THAT JESUS CHRIST DID NOT CREATE WAS ADAM AND LATER EVE, BOTH OF THEM WERE CREATED BY GOD’S HANDS AND STILL DOING SO WITH EVERYBABY THAT IS BORN TO HUMANITY.

        THAT IS WHY HE KNOWS EACH ONE OF US BEFORE HE EVEN CREATE US, AND KNOWS US BETER THAN WE KNOW OUR OWN SELVES.
