China accuses US of plans to destroy Taiwan ~ March 7, 2023

Speaking at China’s key political event, the so-called ‘Two Sessions’, the country’s foreign minister stated that Washington disrespects Taiwan’s sovereignty, and is ‘formulating a plan for the destruction of Taiwan.’

Tensions remain high between Beijing and Washington ever since US Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi paid a visit to the island last year despite China’s heated protests.
