E6’S AND E2 BUSY IN STATES…
The E2C Hawkeye is the US Navy’s primary carrier-based AWAC (airborne early warning and control) aircraft. It is fitted with a 24ft rotating radome housing an APS-145 radar. Considered the first ‘eyes of the fleet’, since Vietnam era. Having undergone upgrades consistent with the rest of the Elec recon and surveillance group, and with a 5 man crew, they can monitor a large number of targets.
The purpose of the E6 is to connect command with the Navy’s nuke missile force carried aboard ballistic missile subs. It was conceived as a replacement for the airborne command post. It is equipped with an airborne launch control system, capable of launching US land based intercontinental ballistic missiles.

🇱🇺LUXEMBOURG WITH AN E3 NEAR ANCHORAGE…
The E3 AWAC (Airborne Early Warning and Control System) aircraft is the USAF primary aerial command and control aircraft. It features a 30FT wide rotating radar dome that scans a wide area for aerial threats and traffic. The dome is 6 FT thick and sits 11 ft above the fuselage. It contains a radar subsystem that allows surveillance from the Earth’s surface up to the stratosphere over land or water with a range of more than 250 miles. It can detect, identify and track enemy and friendly aircraft by eliminating ground clutter that confuse other radar systems. The command and control centers in the E3 can also forward real time info to other command controls. The other type is the b737-700 AEWC and has the radar as a fixed electronically scanned antenna instead of a rotating one; designated as an E7A Wedgetail.

· Nov. 5, 1955: Marty jumps in the DeLorean and travels back to this date — the date Doc first envisioned the flux capacitor — that Doc Brown had set it to when he was demonstrating how the time machine worked. Marty spends one week in 1955, returning to the future on Nov. 12, 1955 at 10:04 PM.
