A 260-year-old carriage featuring footage of Queen Elizabeth during her coronation in 1953 led a pageant through central London on Sunday as part of platinum jubilee celebrations. The procession followed a similar route to the one taken by the 96-year-old queen on her coronation day and aimed to evoke the different decades of her reign. The queen has missed several jubilee events because of ‘episodic mobility problems’.

Exercise Diamond Storm 2022
The Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) will conduct Exercise Diamond Storm 22 throughout the Northern Territory, including Darwin, Katherine, Timber Creek, Douglas Daly region and Delamere Air Weapons Range, from 30 May to 24 June, 2022.
Flying times for Exercise Diamond Storm will vary throughout the exercise. The Northern Territory community can expect flying during daylight hours from May 30 to June 24, with night flying also occurring from June 6 to 18. All night flying activities will be completed by 11pm local time to minimise impact to the local community.
There is no planned weekend flying for Exercise Diamond Storm.
Diamond Storm is the culmination activity of its third biennial Air Warfare Instructor Course (AWIC), following a six-month long series of exercises throughout Australia.
