Eli is three months old today and to celebrate, he proudly unfurled the toilet paper roll all over the floor. Oh, joy. That, and his untoward attitude involving teeth and some furniture landed him in the slammer for a a treat and a nap and there was peace in the valley again. For awhile. He knows when he has gone too far and when I say it’s time to go for a nap he goes all limp on his back to make it really difficult for me to pick him up.
Here’s the little terror enjoying half a fortune cookie. He’s unbelievably good when he wants food.
He’s such a dear little man when he’s not emulating the Tazmanian Devil. Had I known I would be a new mother I would have asked Santa for a pair of titanium chain mail gauntlets. I remember when Mica was a puppy he consistently nipped at my ankles when I walked. Hands are easier to protect.
I survived one month with a baby puppy. The rest will be a piece of cake. Have you heard rearing a puppy builds character? It’s true. Sleep not required.
